We purchased a bed in a box at a local big box store that had an issue with off gassing. We tried everything - 2 air purifiers, fans, open windows, baking soda etc. As we had guests coming, I needed a new mattress quickly. Mancini was able to deliver a mattress to us the following day. For a small fee ( included in the delivery charge) they carried the toxic mattress down 2 flights of stairs & placed in my husband's pick up truck for an easy return. Update 10/14/24. I am still thrilled with my purchase. I no longer have back pain when I awaken in the morning (that I mentioned during the bed mattress breaking-in period below). On 3.3.21. Neal Kassner, the store manager, was so patient and knowledgeable. He listened to the sleep issues I'd been having all my life and suggested several solutions in different types of beds and price ranges. After a lifetime of extensive sleep issues documented in four sleep studies through my medical insurance, I was so happy I invested in a foam bed for the first time in my life. After researching online, I went to the Novato store. When I tried the Temper-Pedic bed in the store, I could instantly feel my body relax and I actually felt sleepy--in the middle of the day! Although the bed cost a bit more than I wanted to spend, I'm so glad I took a chance. I'm glad to report that all my sleep biomarkers tracked by the Oura ring (it's like a FitBit) since using my new bed have greatly improved. It's been about five months, and I'm still breaking in the medium firm bed. We believe it's because I'm only 125 pounds, so it's going to take a bit longer than usual for the bed to relax to the firmness desired. There is a bit of back discomfort during this transition period that goes away after getting up from bed and stretching a bit. I believe this discomfort is because I'm sleeping so soundly and not tossing and turning, as documented by my Oura ring. After sleeping on a non-foam mattress for over 50 years, I'm just grateful to be sleeping more soundly with this new bed. read more

I called the manager of this store and described the Kluft Aireloom queen mattress that I had experienced at a friend's home, absolutely loved, and wanted to purchase for myself. The manager told me that model had been discontinued. I asked if he knew the name of the current model that replaced it and was most similar. He told me that they would custom make it and assured me it would be soft yet firm. I spent $8,000 on it, the most miserably uncomfortable mattress I have ever attempted to sleep on. Hard as a board. It was supposed to be firm foam; it was like trying to sleep on concrete. This was a total waste of my money AND I feel like the manager betrayed my trust. read more

I can't commend Mancini's enough for the excellent treatment we received from them. Outstanding! We bought a very expensive king size mattress from them. Unfortunately, one of us had trouble with it being too firm and after about 110 days of usage decided to return the mattress. Mancini accepted the mattress with a question, picked it up at a convenient time and quickly refunded our money. (They have a 120 day return policy.) If you need a mattress, we couldn't recommend a more honest store than Mancini's. Before posting this recommendation, I also want to say that they were very helpful and patient when we originally bought the mattress in their Novato store. Kudos all around. Like many people, we were hesitant to go into a mattress, store, and endure a high pressure, salesy environment... this was nothing like that. I am on a strict budget and let Teddy at the Novato store know that. So he suggested a Mancini factory made xtra firm mattress . Kinda on the low end, cost wise. The mattress was installed, I slept on it one night and found the mattress to be very soft and spongy. I sit up and read in bed and I was sinking into the mattress. They do have a selling feature of a "trial period" to see if the purchase is satisfactory. They picked up this first mattress right away, and at the same time, I went back to the Novato store to choose another "extra firm mattress". I did just that; I bought the Beauty Rest, Harmony Lux, Carbon Series, extra firm. this mattress was delivered the very next day. I luv this medium cost mattress and I thank Teddy, my sales person for being so polite, understanding and helpful !! Bottom line, you get what you pay for so do be really careful when actual testing in the showroom. read more

Mancini's Mob Boss Believe me if I could give this place a zero rating I would Not knowing exactly where to start, I walked into this store with my mother, and was greeted with total aggression, inappropriate harassing questions by the rudest, sales person so called manager I have ever and I mean EVER met in my life. This man talked to my mother and myself as if we were stupid because we wanted a quote written down on paper, he made it clear he couldn't possibly do that, with an attitude, offended by the request, making it clear that we needed to commit to sale or we were wasting his time. This was a clearly a sales pressure tactic, well being bullied is completely unacceptable. I told this guy he clearly didn't want us to buy anything from him and that he was way too aggressive and needed to back off.. I assured him that he wouldn't see us again, as he defensively tried to take the high road as I walked out the door. We was extremely knowledgeable about Tempur Pedic mattresses which is what we were focused on. I promised Donna at this mattress store location I would write up a review. I walked in and bought a new mattress for my mother a few weeks ago. I was surprised and the reasonable price and ease of shopping with great guidance from Donna. It took about 10 minutes total. There was a problem with the delivery company not taking the old mattress away as planned, but after a call they were prompt and removed it with no extra charge. On May 10th I went to Mancini's in Novato to look at mattresses. I was greeted by Gabby. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. She asked good questions and allowed my wife and I all the time we needed to test mattresses. We had a great buying experience and purchased a Casper Hybrid Snow and a floor model adjustable base that worked perfectly for our needs. The purchase was delivered on a day of our choice, and the delivery people were excellent. I love the 90 day return policy, took the fear away from buying a mattress that ends up being uncomfortable. Fortunately the Casper is awesome, first time in a long time I woke up with no hip pain. The mattress is awesome. Fast forward to today. I registered my Casper and today got an email that said the same mattress I purchased was on sale this weekend. I went to the Mancini web site and engaged with a customer service rep via live chat. He advised their price guarantee entitled me to a refund. He said just call the store. I called the Rowland Blvd store in Novato where I purchased the mattress, talked to a very nice person who ended up being the manager Teddy. He quickly refunded me the difference without question or problem. The refund of $679 is already on my credit card. From start to refund, this was a really great experience. However my friends had a great experience at a Mancini's in the East Bay so I drove to Novato to start my dream mattress hunt. 20 minutes, five mattress trials and a totally pleasant experience all the way around, I somehow came out with the least expensive mattress of all that I tried! It will be delivered in 3 days and I have no reason to believe I won't be equally pleased with the delivery. I had a back issue beginning in February that required that I purchase a new mattress. The current one I had was only a few years old but was far too hard to continue to sleep on. I bought the last two mattresses at Sleeptrain and I felt they really did not know what I needed or else as a side sleeper they would have told me NOT to buy a really firm mattress. I decided to give Mancini's a try! I began my journey with Sean. He was great and let me try a lot of mattresses in the store explaining the differences of each mattress in detail, he understood what I needed. I selected 4 options and said I would return in a day or so since I would be traveling. When I did return although Sean was not there George let me go through each of the mattresses again and I stayed in the store a good hour making sure I got comfortable and began eliminating the beds one by one. What I can say is that I would definitely recommend Mancini's in Novato, George and Sean were very knowledgeable about all the product lines, manufacturers, price points, etc. Here's hoping for a great night's sleep! read more

I absolutely hate shopping so the ability to just call someone and they ask the right questions to order what I am wanting is a relief from the dread of it (shopping). I've always seen Mancini's Sleepworld commercials and never had the opportunity to be in the market for a new mattress. There was one close to our home and we decided to go there first and it was a very very enjoyable experience. My wife and our year old son and was given the most exceptional care possible. My wife and baby were allowed to try out all the furniture. Actually they were encouraged to try out all the furniture. Sean was knowledgeable, patient, kind, and extremely thorough during our purchase process. Unfortunately we only need one bed, otherwise we would go back for more. It was that great of an experience. Sean and Kia were both so great, and we shared some laughs during our visit. Also, must mention we had had our eye on purchasing linens and pillows at another store but Mancini's made it so easy, and the customer service was so exceptional we made it our one stop shop and got the rest of the things there. read more

I COMPLETELY agree with JG.s comments on 6/2/21!!!!! They are HORRIBLE mean and aggressive!!!!! I bought 2 mattresses from them about a year ago and it was fine but when I went in to buy a mattress for my son the MANAGER and ASST Manager were HORRIBLE!!!! In my face without a mask (this was during COVID height) and then told me I couldn't get what I wanted. I left and went to the other store in Vintage and they were great and got me a good mattress with no hassle!!! I just went back today because my mom needs a bed and they were offering "free" adjustable base. I said I was in a hurry and knew what I wanted and then when I told them the model and price he said 'show me it on the website and how do you know it is that price!' HORRIBLE ASSHOLES!!!! He then proceeded to go show me the other Icomfort mattresses and both sales men there (both in there late 50's I might add) told me I was wrong and that they couldn't sell me that nor could they give me the base!!!!
