After following up with phone calls and in-person visits to get the window repaired, the rod was still not replaced. My father had to call another company to send someone to replace the rod, which got the window functioning again. The trim still looks like garbage, and QC Glass is dodging any efforts to RIGHT THE WRONG their brilliant technician caused by cutting into it. This P.O.S. company does NOT stand by their work and will ignore you long enough until you give up on calling and going in the store. The only thing they put effort into is telling you they'll do it and never showing up or following through. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I was looking for a mirror that was square with a single cutout for an outlet…read more I called around and QC had the lowest cost. They were roughly $25-40 cheaper than the others. I figured that it would be pretty tough to screw up such a simple order so I went with the cheapest. Guess you get what you pay for. It started off very good. I put a request for a quote via the company's website. I get fairly quick email responses and decided to have the glass ordered. I was told 3-5 business days. Fast forward an entire month and the bathroom is just about done and I'm ready for the glass. I have not heard a word about this glass since I ordered it. I contact QCG again and ask what the status was. I got 'I'll check with the warehouse and get back to you'. A few days later I get a call saying that my order was ready for pickup. What order? "You ordered a mirror 2 days ago". I said that I ordered a mirror over a month ago and got "Oh. Well, it's ready for pickup and we're open until 5". Oh? No "I'm sorry to hear that"? No asking for clarification. Just "Oh", which basically says "I don't care, come get your crap." I show up a couple hours later to pick up the mirror and the parking is awful, the office is extremely dirty and disorganized and the people were not very friendly. They pull out my order and there is no outlet cover like there was supposed to be. They say they will order one. They also wanted $17 for a face plate. Um... Home Depot sells them for $5. What's so good about yours? Anyway. I get the glass home (which was wrapped) and open it up. Stupidly, I never looked in the store. The bottom corner of the mirror was chipped off and there's chips on the cut out. The hole was larger than I requested and circular for whatever reason. There are a few chips that can't be covered by the face plate. Luckily the chips are at the bottom of the plate and far bottom corner so none of them are really noticeable. Then I get called saying the plate is in. I missed the call and heard a message that was less than pleasant. A couple days later I get another nastier message saying that I needed to pick it up or let them know I didn't need it so they don't have to bother to keep trying to reach me. Why would I respond to that? I got several messages that I ignored due to the fact that the caller was just rude and nasty. Eventually, I get a call that simply says that they were putting the plate back in stock and won't call me anymore. Next time I need any glass products, I'll call someone else and spend a few extra bucks. They clearly forgot my order and then just tried to play it off like nothing happened. I should have just left it at that and gone elsewhere instead of asking what happened.

You ever have a basement window just....sporadically shatter for no apparent reason? Well,…read moreevidently this is just a thing that randomly occurs in this part of town. The last time I had glass shatter spontaneously was back in '24 when our winter storm door screen was completely pulverized by the summer heat, it seems (Pro-life tip: swap out your storm door screens in the summer with mesh ones). On the back of that unforeseen devastation, out went my mass inquiries to all the local shops servicing the Nashua area. Out of maybe 5 (?), 3 responded almost instantly. One sent a quote so high, I was half tempted to reply and ask if I could have some of whatever they were smoking. Another replied with what seemed to be a promising rate, but there was one problem. Their communication was severely intermittent to the point where they inexplicably ghosted me faster than a recruiter responding to a job applicant. Ultimately, I settled on Good Window Works. They offered a fair quote, were easy to get ahold of, and even provided a COI statement as per the request of our housing board. For those unaware, a COI is a Certificate of Insurance. Basically, it's assurance to the board that the contractor in question is insured to complete the job without creating a liability if they, say....jam their thumb beneath a tack hammer or something. With those formalities out of the way, the job was simple enough: Replace the half of the basement window that abruptly disintegrated. All in all, the job took roughly 2 hours. In the end, the window he installed was so transparent, it looked like there was no pane at all in the frame. But no--the glass was just THAT pristine! I don't say this often, but....experiences like these are what I love most about being a Yelp writer. So rarely do I get to be in the position to not only promote another hard working local business, but also pose as the microcosmic advertising vehicle that just might serve as the prompt some very fortunate individual needs to go, "Yeah, I'm hiring this place to work on my house". If you're wondering whether you should hire these guys for your next installation or repair job, the answer is likely yes. Good Window Works is worth 5 window panes clearer than thin air out of 5.

I had a window with a broken pane on the third floor attic. I called several places, including one…read moreI've used for years for glass and screen repair. Only Good Windows responded and sent someone out to do an estimate. They just finished the job. The original estimate was done from the ground, however when the technician was able to get the unit out of the frame, (This is an old style window), we both saw that additional work had to be done. The tech did the work and did an excellent job. It was only a bit more over the original estimate, but quite reasonable. I highly recommend Good Window Works.

**I can't stand this sh*t place**…read more It's been like a few years and this place has left an everlasting impression on me. Til this day I haven't even gotten my windshield fixed because I couldn't drive my car due to leaks and season. I remember picking my car up at night when they are closed and they left my keys on the front tires. Not a big deal because I requested it. But the thing that got me was when they told me that it's all set, the rear view mirror was missing. So I had to drive back and get that. On top of that, I noticed two small dents on my roof which I know for sure was not there before. And they tried saying that it's been there like bullshit. I look at my car pretty often and most of the time my car is in the garage so there could not have been anything that could have fell on it. It's funny cause how did I not notice it before? Anyways back to the rear view mirror. I leave my garage opener in the center console. When I came back to grab my rear view mirror, they tried telling me that they left a note in the center console. BULLSHIT. Cause when I got home there was no note. Next thing you know it after putting my rear view mirror on, there was a note in the center console about how they need me to bring it back to put the rear view mirror on. First off, how are you going to call me and tell me that it's all done when it's not and leave my keys on my front tires? And then tell me that you guys didn't put my rear view mirrors on and "left a note". At this point, I'm pissed. The dents on my roof, the rear view mirror and the dishonesty. F*** this place. The way they sealed my windows were shit. They even replaced my rear view windows which I didn't ask for and it looks like shit. Oh also when I took it back home, one of the screws in front wasn't screwed on and I had to screw it on myself. And looks like the windshield wasn't even the best fit for my car cause it just didn't look right. Again, F*** this place. My 2 cents.
