I recently visited this Preschool to see about enrolling my child. First we contacted them via email. They replied with general broad replys that didn't even answer the questions we had about enrollment. It was likely they had one of the Preschoolers replying to their emails. We found that calling the place isn't helpful either. They don't answer the phone!!! Not once out of 9 or so calls on different days did they answer. Plus they don't return your calls until many days later. I'm sorry but if I needed to contact them for any important reason regarding my child I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to. This scares me. Also when we toured the property it was easy to get in. If you show up with a child then they will open the door to anyone. With the way things are these days I would assume preschools would have a tighter security on the safety of our children. Another observation I made while visiting the property was that if a child was misbehaving there was a older african american woman with a cell phone walking around threatening to call their parents if they didn't listen. This seemed rash and as if they weren't in control. All in all I would not recommend this Preschool to anyone that values the safety of their children. If you wish to stick your child in a dark hole and forget they exist for a day or so then Thompsons is the Preschool for you. According to zoning the building has always been approved for a small number of preschool students. This is not new. Obviously she chose to disregard the zoning department and allow all of us there to only be booted out after my child was secure and happy. I find that very sad. I didn't even know there was another school there until she brought notice to it. The security officer that was there was a wonderful man that was hired by cindy to bring awareness to all of the parents to make sure no one got hurt. You can't tell me you didn't fly around the corner because I know I was very guilty of it. I am curious who the owner of the other school is. I may just drop in on them this week just to see their take on all this. I believe there are 3 sides to a story and after getting booted for her violation of zoning I kinda want to hear from someone else. To JH N I was not given the option for our 1 year old to settle into a new home. Why were you given that option? I didn't want to leave there and it wasn't fair. What kinds of problems did the private school cause? I never saw any problems and neither did my wife or my in laws that helped us. Maybe we were just lucky at out drop offs. It just seems like we are only being told what someone wants us to hear.

I was very nervous when I first began searching for daycare centers due to her allergies and this place was my first choice and I don't regret it one bit. The owners are the nicest people you've ever met, they clearly have passion for what they are doing and they have huge hearts! This all shows in who they hire as well. Very creative curriculum and they spend tons of time outdoors, have fun dress up days, and use redirection methods instead of time out, and treat every child as unique individuals! Look no further this place is great!

Over time, there were several troubling incidents involving bullying, physical aggression, and threats made by another child that were not handled appropriately by staff. In one case, our child required medical attention after mulch was thrown into his eye during inadequate supervision on the playground. There were also situations where we were either not informed about incidents at all or only learned about them directly from our child afterward. When concerns were brought to administration, communication was inconsistent and unprofessional. We repeatedly requested to review footage related to incidents involving our child and were given conflicting information about whether anyone had even reviewed the recordings. The refusal to provide clarity or transparency only raised more concerns for us. We were also disturbed to learn about ongoing complaints regarding understaffing, classroom ratios, and concerns about safety procedures. From our experience, the facility appeared disorganized and unable to provide the level of supervision and care parents should expect from a childcare center. Child safety should always come first, and unfortunately we did not feel that was the case here. Parents considering this center should ask detailed questions about supervision policies, incident reporting, and staff accountability before enrolling their children.

Often times there would be no one in the facility and I would have to walk around to the back gate and yell for someone to come to the door. I also asked if I could change my daughter's diaper immediately after picking her up and was refused entrance to their facility, leaving me no option but to change my daughter's poopy diaper in my car in their parking lot. My child was diagnosed with Enterobius 4.5 months after she started attending this daycare. I took my child to several doctors starting in March, she was misdiagnosed three times. My daughter suffered severe physiological and cognitive delays as a result of this daycare's negligence. In an attempt to speak with the director about the pinworm infection, Carrie NEVER spoke to me about it, and only called me when I mentioned contacting an attorney to an employee when I was told she didn't have their tax number. Carrie called me from a restricted line, left a voicemail with their tax ID number, and not once addressed the pinworm infection. I also E-mailed her about the infection, and still have yet to receive an E-mail back. If your child attends this daycare, I highly recommend getting your child treated for Enterobius (pinworms); a scotch tape test underneath a microscope is the best way; stool samples often show false-negative results. I do not recommend anyone's child to attend this pre-school. There is so much more to this story, but those are the highlights, and the most important. It isn't a safe place for children. I should also note that Carrie does not have her preschool listed on Google, and "Creative Kids Preschool" is not the actual name of her facility; "Creative Kids Connection LLC".

The teachers are amazing, and I want to give a special mention to Miss Jacqui and Miss Savannah who are so caring, patient, and truly dedicated to the children. Before coming here, my daughter attended another daycare in the area. While I truly liked the teachers there too, I had to make a change because they weren't flexible enough with my schedule and the facility wasn't as well maintained as La Petite. The facility here is beautiful, clean, and very well cared for. I love how thoughtfully they organize the children's days with a balance of learning, play, and creativity. My daughter especially enjoys the meals they serve -- she looks forward to them every day! It's such a relief as a parent to know that your child is in a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. We're so grateful for the entire team here!
