Not a "spa" in the traditional sense. Barbershop that also sells shoes. Made an appointment with one stylist who wasn't there when I arrived so styled by another person. Not the best haircut. read more

Getting married in August and my soon to be brother in law had a custom suit made by Cole, he looked amazing so I wanted the same! I've never had a suit custom made before and Cole helped me through every step of the way! You can either get super into the details if that's the kind of person you are or if you're like me and you would get overwhelmed he could make it simpler, my suit came in today and my fiancé and I were so overjoyed with the outcome, I can't wait to wear it on my big day! Cole is amazing at what he does! If you wanna look sharp for any occasion, this is the place to go read more

Love!!! My son in-law comes here and my daughter said I should try them out. Samone did an amazing job that I kept coming back. My family moved back to Alaska so I had to bring them for hair cuts and let's just say yet again we kept coming back. It's 4 of us each time, but even when we are early they still gets us in. The service is top tier every time we come in. The environment is not like an average barber shop, it's laid back. I've been in Alaska over 20 years and never found anyone that can cut my hair texture. That is until I found Man Spa. read more

Man Spa - The ManSpa Anchorage Alaska! - Men's Hair Salons Near Me - Anchorage, Alaska

went there to get a cut for the holidays and it the worst cut I've had in years. the place was fancy looking and had a nice website so I thought the owner knew how to cut hair, but he was overly cocky and messed my hair up so bad I had to go immediately have someone fix it. my hair was uneven on each side and have me he didn't blend the back of my hair with the rest making it look so awkward. on top of all of that he charges 60$ a cut which is outrageous for a cut in genera just for me to have to pay someone to fix what he did. I honestly would've been better going to great clips or something. please if you value your appearance don't go here and if you want "spa services" just go somewhere that specializes in it. read more

The best hair cut in anchorage. All staff provide excellent, professional, and timely service with a very relaxed atmosphere. That being said, Gabriel is a hair wizard. I've shown up with butchered hair on multiple occasions and somehow he's able to correct the past mistakes from other barbers and send me out looking sharp. Every time without fail. I can't recommend these guys enough. read more

First time visiting Man Spa and I couldn't be more happy with the entire experience! In the Marine Corps And after, I've been to a ton of different barbers but this was by far the best hair and beard cut I've ever received! Cole is amazing at his craft and even had me sit back down after paying because he saw one hair out of place. With such great attention to detail and care, they've got a new loyal customer as long as I'm in Alaska! read more

I was looking for a great haircut prior to an interview and chose the Man Spa based on their description of extra special services. This was the most rushed haircut I have ever received and I am embarrassed at the results. It takes a lot for me to do a review and this service certainly motivated the time it takes to do a review. !. Haircut was rushed 2. There was no consultation or shave based on the service description of the 50$ haircut. 3. It was less than 5 minutes. 4. Haircut quality was poor compared to the generic $20 barber in town. 5. The space was unkempt and unprofessional. Do not go here. It is over priced and better service is found at Great Clips. read more

In Anchorage for work and desperately needed a haircut. After much review I settled on Man Spa and I am beyond stoked I did. Cole did an amazing job. Set up was a breeze with their online appointment system, when I arrived the place was clean and I was greeted by a smiling man that made me feel at ease right of the bat, just one of those guys that makes you feel comfortable. The haircut was solid, exactly how I wanted it. Cole didn't rush and made sure I was satisfied with the cut numerous times, I walked out a satisfied customer. Couldn't recommend them more, definitely my new go to barber shop when in Anchorage. read more

Visiting from Cali, I decided to take my 5 yo here for a little father/son bonding time. The Man Spa is an experience the moment you walk in. You get the old school nostalgic barber feel, the gentlemen's "can I take your coat", and modern hip music. There're beverages offered and a pool table if you want to rack em'. All around, good vibes. Cole and his colleagues are professional, personal, and fun. They were great with my son making him feel like one of the guys, and that the Man Spa was as much for him as it was for some of the older patrons. We will definitely be back the next time we are up here. Cole, thanks for the experience and the clean fades! read more

I found Man Spa on Google, and I really don't understand why they don't have more reviews here on Yelp. Their establishment is clean, stylish and family-owned. Their prices are a bit higher than an old-school men's haircut, but it's worth it for the cool spot, friendly service and great cut. I'm very happy with the cut that Simone gave me. Yelp, stop sleeping on Man Spa! EDIT: My Yelp profile pic does not reflect my current haircut. read more

Always impressed with my haircuts from here. Cole has always been a standup guy with amazing work ethics. Keep up the great work!

We went into Anchorage last weekend for a getaway and I was in need of a haircut. I was researching Barbers and came upon Man Spa. What an awesome place! From the moment I walked in the door, every single person who was there was professional, courteous, and genuine! Kendall did an outstanding job on my haircut. He was attentive, listened to my input, and overall an enjoyable experience. I will definitely be making it there again whenever we go into Anchorage again. Keep up the excellent work! read more

First off, I want to say that Cole is a great guy and a hell of a business owner on top of giving an amazing haircut. His business is outstanding and the attention to detail is impeccable. I have always been greeted by name, with a smile, and offered coffee or water while I wait. Cole, and Man Spa in general provides the best in service and facilitate an absolutely enjoyable experience from the moment you walk through the door to the time you are pulling out of the parking lot. They offer a wide range of services, haircuts, beard trims, etc. and will also facilitate grooms parties. If you want to talk about owning a business, philosophies on life, sports, or just relax and get an outstanding haircut, you need to go see Cole and the team at Man Spa. Side note, Man Spa is veteran owned and is the only supplier of Lox hair products (also veteran owned) in Anchorage. Man Spa and Lox pomade are an unstoppable team. I would suggest making an appointment, either by phone or online. While they do take walk ins, they stay busy providing amazing service. read more

This place was a nice surprise in Anchorage. I came up here for work not expecting to find a decent barbershop but was relieved when I found the ManSpa on Yelp. Cole was cool and obviously really skilled. I got a high skin fade, line up and he cleaned up my eyebrows too. Only downside is having to leave town after finding a barber who cuts my hair the way I like it. Highly recommend checking this place out if you need a haircut while in Anchorage. read more

I had an awesome haircut here! Very clean place with great customer service. Stop by here for sure! read more

Man Spa - Men's Hair Salons Near Me - Anchorage, Alaska

I started coming here about 4 months ago. My previous barber moved out of the state and I was shopping around for a new one. My first few haircuts and beard trims at this place were great (Cole was my barber). The one I just received 2 days ago was horrible. Haircut was fine, but literally ruined my beard. I asked him to tighten up the sides and leave the length at the bottom. He proceeded to cut my entire beard the same length, which was extremely short. He even asked me how I wanted it cut twice before he did anything. If you want your barber to listen to what you say and not be screwing around on his phone the entire time he is cutting your hair I would suggest going to another shop. read more

Great barber shop! The barbers were very professional and friendly. As I walked in the door, I was greeted with a handshake and offered a water or coffee while I waited. Reservations are highly recommended and everyone had a grest time interacting with each other. Highly recommended! Thank you for a great "rescue" haircut! read more

We were on our way to Great Clips and called them to ask a question. We called at 4 pm on March 23. They were so rude on the phone that we were like "we don't really want to go there anymore." Then we saw this place called Man Spa and the nice, young man working was dressed in a suit. Classy. We could see him through the window as we drove by-it looked really nice. So we checked the prices online and decided to go. We were greeted by the nice man and a very nice, beautiful lady. Our coats were taken they gave us coffee and treated us so nice. They even have a pool table. And the haircut was GREAT! We really like this place, it was a good call. You should go and become a regular. 100% read more

I walked in with three months of hair and beard and Cole sculpted a younger me out of that mess. Highly recommended, locally owned, family tun, Covid safe environment. Wow, what more can I say, thank you!!! read more

Great haircut and conversation. A local family-owned business. Very clean, professional spa. Highly recommend! Thanks!

First haircut in anchorage. The first words out of my mouth were "I love me hair" meaning the length. For the price I was looking for a "consultation" as they advertised as to what hair would work best for me. That didn't happen. We dove right into clippers and was already too short. Could of been different if I had the appointment with the person I made but I get into the shop and have a different person and was polite and thought for the price I should get the same service. Not worth the money here, all that happened for me was getting most of my hair chopped off that I wanted to keep read more
