I have been getting a haircut and beard trim from Andrew at the Man Cave for about 8-10 months now. The experience has always been pleasant. They listen to my asks as I have been changing the way I wanted to look for a while. Growing out a beard and having it look "professional" and clean is very important to me. The atmosphere is enjoyable, and they have worked with me numerous times with my schedule to "fit me in" when I am pinched for time. Great shop and vibe overall. Came down from Alaska for a couple of weeks, and happened to get an impromptu call from the old job, asking if I'd like to come out of retirement, and asking if we could meet. For the amount of money they offered, I agreed. Hadn't cut my hair in over two years, so it was as thick as Alaska undergrowth. Read the reviews on Yelp, and some leftist pussy was whining and complaining about the "rude speech" he experienced while at the Man Cave. Really went into it. Nothing about how good his haircut was...just about how his feefees were hurt. Immediately decided this was the place for me. Made the appointment, and when I arrived, was greeted with a smile, and my barber Kyle, sat me down within a minute. Asked me what I wanted, and fifteen minutes later, came out with the absolute best haircut I've had since the Marines. Honestly, I was expecting a bar fight, and whiskey. What I got was professional demeanor, perfection in service, and a handshake on the way out. Kyle did an absolutely bang up job. I highly recommend this place to "The Boys". We have been getting haircuts here for a few years now but after this past experience, I'll never go back. While I sat waiting for my kid to have his hair cut, the barrage of constant hate and disgust that came out of the owners mouth turned my stomach. Politics are politics and unfortunately have found their way into every convo it seems, but your loud mouth negative opinions about how much you hate living here; how unsafe you feel, and how ridiculous it is that you have to pay for FMLA. all while talking about how employee who just gave birth. We will never be back. if you don't value your employee, customer or state enough to give a shit about all of us, even the mom sitting there with their disabled child on her lap, then close up shop and move elsewhere. read more

It's been my best barber experience in the MN area, between the vibe of the shop, to the friendly and fun atmosphere the barbers create. Stopped in after work for the first time for a beard trim and Charlie was able to get me in for the last cut of the day, even though it was going to cause him to stay later. This was my first experience with a "real barber shop" (not great clips/ sports clips) and man I can confidently say I will be coming back. My wife brought my son in for a haircut, this being our second time there I was not worried after the first time being there the haircut was great. The second time around not so much .My son said he liked it. It looked good until I saw the hack job on the back of his head. I was not happy and this was done by the owner of the shop. we will not be returning. read more
