I've been coming to this barbershop for about 7 years to see Jon and always appreciated the…read moreconsistent service. Unfortunately, I won't be returning after my last visit. Jon raised the price on me without mentioning it beforehand, which felt unprofessional and disrespectful after so many years of monthly haircuts. And when I mentioned it to him, he told me to sit with someone else or find another barbershop. Clear communication goes a long way, and I wish that had been the case here.

What a gem of a place. Tucked back just far enough from busy intersections to be easily found but…read morenot too much traffic. Small town feel with talented barbers. Snuck me in as a walk-in between two appointments. No salesman sheen on anyone's faces, just genuine welcome without all the extra niceties. They still use an old register not hooked up to any WiFi or computer or Bluetooth. They only accept cash or... check! Some may say outdated, I say refreshing and much needed relaxed paced small town feel. Such a treat to escape the high-tech, sterile world we are all living in these days. I almost forgot the old school Mr Coffee machine and cookies out for visitors, with the beetles playing between radio announcers just above the hum of conversations ... I cannot recommend this place enough

Disclaimer: This is hubby's (79) first trip to a true men's barber for styling hair, beard &…read moreeyebrows. He has always believed the $5 cut is sufficient. When we entered The Patron Barber, hubby's beard was longer and way out of control sticking out the sides like filled up squirrel cheeks; he had cut {sigh} his mustache in a weird way; and, hair on top was "interesting" with all kinds of spikes, curls, etc. So, the 'before' picture is actually looking somewhat groomed. Chris made me a great mug of coffee to enjoy while he started hubby on a new journey to look perfected. The whole vibe at Patrons is wonderful. The music had me humming, while I watched Chris work magic. Well over an hour was spent, with each snip to ensure hubby would leave looking sharp and with a promise that some of those homemade mistakes could be fixed over the next few visits. The best part? Hubby totally enjoyed the pampering, getting to know Chris, and the final look. He came away with an understanding of what an expert cut would do for him. And, he's looking forward to returning! Thank you Chris Tahti

Got a clean cut from Calvin who's the first barber when you enter. Cool dude from Ohio and was very personable and works in a timely manner. I asked for a 2 on the sides and a trim on top. One side was uneven, and the razors they were using…read morewere old so it would pull on my hair at times. He didn't cut anything on top. Usually when I go to barbers the trim on top is enough so that it matches the side lengths, not here though I guess. He also barely cleaned up the neck hair on the back. Overall the cut wasn't good, and was charged 35$, way too expensive for a bad haircut. If he did a good job then it could be justifiable. No lineup or anything, so crazy it was that much. Maybe the quality varies per barber, mine was Calvin.
