Because of insurance I was referred to go to this office in 2020. I remember having a wonderful experience. I suffer from endometriosis and cysts on my ovaries. Dr. Mamtora understood my concerns and properly addressed my issues and relieved my pain and worry. Again, because of insurance she was not in my network until now. My insurance has changed and she is in network once again. Today I messed up and showed up a day before my appointment, but she took me anyway. She spent at least 25 minutes with me answering all of my questions and offering relief that I haven't had since seeing her last. I would highly recommend her, she's very knowledgeable and has a wonderful bedside manner. read more

Liar- negligent- unsanitary and I think all the patients should sue this doctor and the facility. Years ago I did an invasive surgery she recommended where I developed large and painful open wound keloids. She lied to my insurance about certain things- heard other patients when I was there being verbally assaulted by the staff. Filthy worn down looking house with dirty gowns- dirty tools- it's disgusting. I had limited choices for an OBGYN and she is by far the worst doctor I had. If all the patients on Yelp could come together- I'm pretty sure she broke many laws by now. read more

Parking was tricky and the ice itself needs a refresh. It was giving grandmas old house rather than clinic vibes and the waiting room was very small. My interaction with the doctor was fine but the ambiance wasn't my cup of tea. read more

HORRIBLE experience so far, not just with the doctor but with the facility/office as well. I had an ovarian cyst rupture in February and was recommended by the ER that this doctor works for on the side, to follow up immediately with a Pap smear. I provided my insurance information upon making the appointment. At the time of my appointment, I gave them my insurance card so they can verify and the front desk charged a copay. Not once was I told that I was out of network which I was not aware of obviously. I work in a medical office and don't understand how they took my money for a "COPAY" but failed to tell me that I wasn't even in network with the doctor. I received a $670 bill. I called my insurance and was then told that this doctor was not in network, and was also confused as to why they did not disclose that with me prior to being seen. I would hope that a doctor would be more understanding of my circumstances. Today I called the facility and the doctor answered the phone, tried to tell me the reason I was billed was because I have an $8000 deductible that was not met (which is not true) then said she'll accept $200 out of pocket instead. She is extremely unprofessional and her office has no AC, old pee cups left out on the counter, and basically no staff. AVOID GOING HERE! read more

I had a very uncomfortable and concerning experience at this OB-GYN office. At first, the doctor seemed attentive, but over time her attitude became irritated and dismissive. During one visit, the exam table was positioned in a way that made it extremely difficult for me to place my legs in the stirrups. I am shorter, and despite trying repeatedly, I physically could not position myself properly. Instead of helping adjust the table or offering an alternative, the doctor told me that she "couldn't check me for cancer" and said "oh well" because she couldn't get in position. That was upsetting and unprofessional. What concerned me even more was the condition of the exam room. There was visible blood on and under the exam table, including a pan underneath that appeared to contain old blood and blood-soaked cotton swabs. Some of it had leaked onto the floor. I had to call the nurse in, and she cleaned it while I was still in the room, instead of having me step out. This made me very uncomfortable, especially considering infection and sanitation concerns. The office itself is located in what appears to be an old house rather than a clinical medical setting, which added to my discomfort. It did not feel clean or professional. When I later called to follow up about my care, I was told that I "self-diagnose," which felt dismissive and inappropriate -- I was simply asking questions about my health. I have also received calls or messages about "missed appointments" or appointments I never scheduled or attended, which was confusing and concerning. Overall, I left feeling disrespected, unheard, and unsafe. Between the lack of professionalism, sanitation issues, and poor communication, I would not recommend this office. read more

I wish I could give negative stars. The office is a total mess: stacks of things everywhere. The sinks are regular household sinks. There was a tray of urine samples in the exam room, and another woman dropped off another sample while I was there. The intake nurse was totally incompetent. She didn't listen to any of my answers to HER questions. And as for "Dr." Mamtora, she was awful. I have no idea how she graduated medical school. She interrupted me every time I tried to talk or answer her questions. She barely looked at my ultrasound (that I had to provide for her via my phone, so she just glanced at my little phone screen), and she decided I needed a biopsy. I had a moment if panic because I had just one week before been diagnosed with breast cancer. She acted surprised by and even annoyed that I was upset. She offered to do the uterine biopsy in the office but that it would be painful. She handed me a gown from a stack out in the open. After she left to prep the biopsy, I left the office. After reading these reviews, I'm so glad I did. Mt GP then sent me to a much better gynecologist. read more

My recommendation is the same as everyone else's - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. It's disgusting and unsanitary. They wanted me to come in to review my US results but they weren't even ready - but wanted me to sign the at I was there for an appt so they could bill my insurance. I did not sign so I'm curious what will happen. They did not explain anything. Another patient said she had to use the bathroom and escaped out the door. I am considering taking this to a higher level because of how unsanitary and unprofessional this practice is - she should not be practicing medicine. read more

I wasn't seen by Dr. Mamtora because I walked out after being shuffled around a cluttered office along with other patients. I was early to my appointment, filled out the paperwork and waited about 30 mins before I was called to the back. While I was still in the lobby, the receptionist asked a woman to do a urine sample and made her leave her newborn in the waiting room in the stroller by itself because "there wasn't any room". The baby started to cry soon after it's mother left, and another patient tried to soothe it until the mother came back. The first thing I noticed was the lack of privacy, I could even hear the doctor complaining about patients that could not pay. I was called to the back, the woman had me stand on a scale, then kept telling me to sit. She didn't like where I sat so asked me to move chairs. Everything was cramped and cluttered, there were other patients and their spouses and babies trying to maneuver around each other, meanwhile I am just sitting there. There were urine and blood samples just sitting out in the open, the lady that had me sit directed me to an exam room to wait while she took a blood sample from someone else. There were people in the exam room waiting, they left as I entered. The door was left open, I could hear the doctor asking which patients were which, specifically the one waiting in the room (I'm assuming me). It was all very confusing and made me very nervous. The confusion, disorganization and unhygienic appearance of the office led me to check the reviews as I was waiting, had I looked beforehand I'm sure I would not have made an appointment with Dr. Mamtora. read more

If I could give -5 stars I would. I'm only giving 1 star so I can write the review. This doctor has horrible infection prevention practices. She gave me a female exam and washed her GLOVES, not her hands. I called her on it and still didn't dispose of the gloves. I would never want anyone else to be unnecessarily exposed to others bodily fluids, since she is an unsafe physician. Shame on you, Dr. Mamtora. I work in the medical field, which you knew and you still had horrible practice. I would NEVER refer her to anyone which is why I'm writing this review. BEWARE!!! We deserve better medical care than what she provides. And the front office lady, is rude and asks the same questions over and over. States they don't have your authorization yet you're there for an appt? Make it make sense please!!!! That alone should've been my warning that this office is not the best but I wanted to give the doctor the benefit of the doubt. Not all front office staff are great. But in this case, the front office lady AND the doctor were HORRIBLE!!! And they are using a student as their medical assistant. Why? To save money? Ridiculous!!! Who is training the M.A.? DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE!!!!! Just trust me. You'll thank me later. read more

Dr. Mamtora is a great doctor and did an excellent job delivering my son; she was able to quickly arrive to the hospital in less than 10 minutes at 2am because I had got to the hospital just in time to push the baby! I was so glad she made it in time and we had a safe and healthy baby. She also delivered my other son and did a great job which is why I went to her for my recent pregnancy again as well. She is also very good with answering questions by phone or in person anytime you have concerns which is important to expecting mothers. read more

I'm updating again. There was abnormal cells found on the pathology from Dr. Mamtora.. She told me she got everything. Could of killed me.

This is the worst clinic ever... They charged my sister 25$ for medical records SAME DAY & wanna charge me 35$ and wait a WEEK. I've only been seen 2 times at this ugly ass place & it's going to take me a week to just get 2 papers...Charge all this money but y'all don't upgrade that ran down clinic. They are ALL OVER THE PLACE, front desk ladies don't know what they're doing, Everytime I ask a question they try to avoid it. It's like they don't want to talk or help me out. And this is exactly why I'm changing ob doctors. Unprofessional as fuck!! read more

Had the WORST experience. If you want informative, professional, and punctual doctor visits DO NOT COME HERE. I called to make an appointment and I told the receptionist I was only 4 weeks along if I can make an appointment for 8 weeks and she insisted I come in at 4 weeks so the doctor "Can make sure baby is okay" my appointment was at 11:30AM and I wasn't seen until 1:30PM because they were overbooked. Once doctor actually saw me before even doing the ultrasound she said she can do the ultrasound but we probably won't be able to see anything.... I told her that's why I didn't want to come in until I was 8 weeks but your staff insisted on me coming in so early. She seemed frustrated when I said this to her. Also I've had 2 miscarriages so minimally I thought okay well at least I can get bloodwork to make sure HCG levels are where they are suppose to be at this point in my pregnancy... WRONG they use the same "at home" pregnancy test strips (the cheap ones from Amazon) do not do blood work you have to go to another lab for that. After 2 miscarriages I was very hesitant of getting an ultrasound so I don't over worry when nothing shows ... that's exactly what happened nothing on the ultrasound....such a horrible experience. Oh and cherry on top they asked me survey questions 3 different times, got my information wrong, and doc was arguing with her staff in front of patients. Never again read more

I visited Dr Mamtora around a year ago and it was the most traumatic health visit I've ever had. She was incredibly dismissive of my vaginal pain and refused to listen to me and my concerns. The examination was excruciatingly painful - she had no regard for the fact that I was already experiencing pain and entered me without warning, and started digging around even though I was squirming with pain and had tears in my eyes. She told me to "relax" and they she "knew this would happen" but then proceeded to tell me I shouldn't be experiencing any of this pain and that it's normal. By the end of our visit I was crying and she couldn't be bothered to care. The complete lack of any care or professionalism is abhorrent and I had to get this off my chest and try to deter anyone else from having a similar experience. It's fking disgusting that experiences like this aren't unheard of but please please do yourself the kindness of researching before seeking treatment if you have the choice. Don't seek treatment here; asper other reviews, you'll most likely only be overlooked and invalidated. Edit: BTW - To rub salt in the wound, when I made a complaint to my insurance, the response they gave me was a bunch of lies she told them to cover up (example, that I was a no show for an appointment even though I rescheduled the day before). So the things she said basically invalidated everything I complained about, somehow??? lol. Anyway thanks for reading and I hope that whatever you're seeking help for is taken care of because you deserve it. read more

I found out I was pregnant in late August of 2019 and was fretful! Who do I go to?! With my mother's insurance, I found this practice and to make it short and straight to the point... I felt very unwelcome, uncomfortable (both as a patient and as a human being), and I felt like this practitioner only cares about money. For any question I'd ask, I wouldn't get a very good answer. Mamtora would shrug it off and give some half-hearted response. Even for my medical records: I needed to pay $25 to get my hands on my own paperwork? You couldn't email it to me? I don't understand your practice. Plus, they're my records. I ask for them every time and you say it's on the portal. The paperwork I received could not be found there. Also, every time I came in, I'd have to pay a co-pay of $30. That's the norm. Fine. Why did I get a letter saying I owe this practice $30 when they would never let me leave unless I have paid? I've only seen this doctor, Mamtora, 3 times total. What's this extra $30 I have to pay? I'll be making a call on Monday to find out, and if need be, showing the receipts of every payment I've made here, but this is absolutely ridiculous. Truth be told, I'd give negative stars if I could. One more note: I understand sometimes doctors have to explain to their patients thoroughly before moving on to the next patient, but what's the point of making an appointment if I'm to be seen 1&1/2 hours to sometimes 2 hours later? I gave this practice a chance, but I really wish I did not. Please, if you see this review, avoid this practice because if you're pregnant, sitting in the waiting room or even her examination room will raise your stress levels and make you extremely uncomfortable. You'll be unhappy coming here. read more

I waited 2 1/2 hours to see the doctor after my scheduled appointment time. The office was dirty and old and extremely cluttered. The building looks like it is falling to pieces inside and out. After my appointment the doctor sent me a prescription for someone else's medicine. When I called back three weeks later to follow up and see where my referral was they didn't know what I was talking about. Then during the call the receptionist hung up on me. This is the most disorganized place I have ever been to. read more

So I went to visit Dr. Mamtora about 2 weeks ago for my first OB appointment. I read all of the reviews on her and decided to give her a chance. All went well and I was unsure of why she was depicted as such a horrible OB and now I know. Today I tried to go to get the ultrasound she ordered me to have done. When I got to the office I was told I couldn't be seen not only because they didn't have the authorization but I hadn't made an appointment. I was very confused because Dr. Mamtora didn't inform me that I would need to make an appointment so I called the office. When I called and spoke to her she informed me that she was just too busy and didn't have the time to send the authorization and hung up! I was so surprised!! I decided to call my primary care doctor and his referral department had it done in 10 minutes tops. The receptionist for the ultrasound office was on the phone arguing with Dr. Mamtora about all that happened and how she spoke to me and Dr. Mamtora just made excuses and tried to blame me the PATIENT for her mess up. After today I will be changing OB because I find it hard to trust a "Doctor" who can't get a simple referral. Oh, and she charges for everything!!! Even a missed appointment! This is illegal! She also has you sign a paper stating that if she messes up during your labor she won't be held responsible. The last two scary thing about this doctor I noticed when I had my appointment is she was getting a page for the emergency room and she told the receptionist she was too busy. Finally, she said to all the mothers to be in the office that If we went into labor after hours not to expect that she will respond through the middle of the night. This was the cherry on the cake!!! How am I supposed to trust this woman with my health and the health of my child when she said that if she's sleeping when I go into labor then I'll just have to have the doctor on duty deliver my child OR try and keep my baby from being born until she is "available" Don't go here if you value your health. read more

This clinic clearly does not care about COVID to have 10+ patients inside at the same time in a small waiting room. I had an appointment, and I was told everyone else waiting had an appointment the same time which made NO sense. This place is unorganized with their scheduling for patients. I ended up cancelling my appointment there because it's not ok to allow your patient to wait more than 15 minutes past their appointment time, with 10+ others also waiting. Appointments are made for a reason. read more

My primary physician recommended her as my OB... she's nice (she talks fast tho but would slow down if u ask her to hehehe) she takes d time to explain things... The problem is the reception and scheduling. Lack of communication or should I say NO COMMUNICATION at all. My appointment was 9am. About 930 they called my name took my vitals and was lead to a room. Waited for more than 30 mins with no word from them why it's taking so long. Waited another 15 and decided to come to d front and ask... thats 45 mins of waiting not to mention d 30 mins in d lobby... the receptionist (a Latina) was kinda annoyed and gave me an attitude and said "the doctor is still in the hospital dealing with some emergency but she will be here". What?? All that time wasted for nothing?? I was frustrated. The least they could have done from the beginning is tell u what's going on and maybe offer u an option to wait or to resched. It's understandable that people has emergencies. But by not letting u know what d deal is then it's a total disrespect for ur time... then when d doctor finally came.. she was kinda annoyed that I wasn't happy with the wait... "well people have emergencies and I had to attend to it"... that's it then... got me a different OB... I'm done with these people. read more

If I could give her no stars I would. I went to see her due to a labial abscess. As I was waiting in her office, she let this Indian couple just go back to an examination room without checking in while there was a full waiting room of patients that had been waiting at least an hour. Then when I get called in to the exam room, she asks whats going on. As I begin to tell her whats going on she cuts me off and says I need to have my abscess surgerical drained. I continue to tell her my symptoms and she looks at my abscess and tells me to go wait in the waiting room. After waiting for like 20 mins she shouts from behind the counter that she will call the hospital to schedule my surgery. So instead of pulling me back into the room she shouts out personal info. So she tells me to be at the hospital at 4 pm the following day for my procedure that will happen at 5:30 pm. Also not to eat anything after 8 am. So I arrive at the hospital and they have no idea who I am. They have no orders for anything. So I call Mamtora and she says that there was an issue with my insurance. I was livid. She couldnt call me earlier in the day and tell me? I hadnt ate in 10 hours! The admin for the hospital said that Mamtora hadnt even submitted the paperwork or orders for the surgery. After 2 hours of waiting .. The Admin submitted everything and I could finally be taken back to get prepd for surgery. Mamtora showed up hours later and said,"Are you ready?" then left. I wake up after the procedure and look at my pain prescription. She had prescribed Tylenol 3 which makes me ill. So I call her the following morning to request something else and she tells me that her prescription pads haven't come in and she cant write me a replacement and to go to the ER. I am never going back to this office or seeing this woman again. She is rude, unprofessional, and doesnt give a damn about her patients. Her staff is very unprofessional also and they make you feel like you're bothering them. read more

-edit- I've changed my review from 1 to 3 stars because looking back now that my son is 1, she did help me deliver a healthy beautiful baby boy. I think it's her staff that really brings her down. I had a few friends with bad c-section experiences with different doctors and mine was just fine, so that is why I'm changing my rating. If I could give no stars I would. My original dr sold her practice and I got transferred here a few weeks prior to my due date. I would never recommend this place. It's small, kinda ghetto and dirty - one of the bathrooms doesn't even have soap! The staff is rude - can't even say hi. The dr isn't rude but you're just a number to her, no personal care. We didn't want to know the sex of our baby and we told her every time and she ruined it and told me anyways. This was my 2nd csection - She discharged me fr the hospital without even looking at my incisions. I gave her my disability form to fill out and they sent it incomplete and the state kicked it back to me. Dropped off another form because she doesn't do it online and they never sent it in. Went back a 3rd time and the forms were just sitting in my file 2 months later! I would never recommend this place! read more

Is the facility fancy? No. Does it need improvements to look more presentable? Absolutely. Is it at least clean? Yes. Dr. Mamtora delivered my first child in 2011. I was morbidly obese (I'm talking 300+ lbs) when she took me on as her patient. Throughout my entire pregnancy all I did was worry about possible complication. Nilima NEVER judged me and always assured me that I was going to be ok. She advised that I gain no more than 12 lbs and surely, everything turned out fine. On the day of my delivery I remember insisting, begging her for a c-section because I truly felt I didn't have it in me to push. What greedy doctor wouldn't take advantage of my fear? Any doctor would have gladly taken the opportunity. (Cha-ching!) Not dr. Mamtora. She gave me a stern "no, you do not need it. You're going to push baby out when the time is right. You are strong and baby will be strong too." Lol. I'm SO glad she talked sense into me. Before I settled with dr mamtora, I had seen two other obgyn and both immediately labeled me high risk due to my weight, and told me I would SURELY have to deliver via cesarean section, just to be on the "safe side." Dr mamtora was the one because I could sense her confidence with how chill she was about even my greatest concerns. This is all cake for her, she's been doing it forever! Dr. Mamtora is a no-nonsense type of doctor. She won't order special tests for you just because you read in a magazine somewhere that you're at risk for this or that. She'll order ONLY what's necessary. Nothing more. Nothing less. If you can't appreciate that, then I'm sorry. Sure, the place isn't state of the art, but at every visit I walked away with images of my healthy fetus and a peace of mind. She knows what she's doing. She's old-school, and her calmness is comforting. If I'm blessed with another pregnancy, she'll definitely be my first choice! read more

I felt uncomfortable coming to this clinic and am currently looking to change doctors. I had an appointment today and wasn't so sure if I had it scheduled or not because I would normally receive an email that would notify me a day before in advance. I called the office & the lady who answered said I have nothing scheduled for today. I then get a call saying I was supposed to come in today for an appointment so then I ended up rescheduling.. What the hell. What made me uncomfortable was that Dr Mamtora was stereotyping me and told me to "avoid eating white rice because you Asians love eating white rice" instead of listing other foods to avoid eating during my pregnancy. Not to mention she said "your baby looks like it will come out to be 6lbs.. Normal Asian baby weight." Uhmm.. I have known of Asian babies being over 6lbs too! Nonetheless, I'd say I feel she's pretty racist towards Asians. I felt so rushed and I get a sense that she does not care too much about her client's questions and concerns! I felt as if I was speaking to a robot. The staff is also rude and makes you feel as if you're bothering them. Her instruments that she uses are also very much OUTDATED. I refuse to have her help deliver my child & would not recommend her at all! Especially if you're Asian. read more

Awful experience. My first time going to a gynecologist, and Dr. Mamtora completely rushed me through the visit and did not offer any explanations unless I asked her. I read up on what a gynecologist visit was supposed to be like and she only gave me the routine pap smear (without first warning me or explaining what the process was going to be like.) I had to ask for a breast examination because she didn't offer. Also, after telling her about my painful period, she just prescribed me some birth control to "fix" it. Didn't tell me about different kinds of birth controls there were out there, and even when asking what kind I would be put on, she just gave a minimal answer. Also had to talk to the receptionist over a week to figure out what happened to my birth control because it wasn't clear where it had gone. read more

Great doctor who really cares about her patients, who goes beyond What is required... Thank you, Dr. Mamtora!

Dr. Mamtora is the best, and she knows her stuff. Yes the office is not fancy, a little outdated, etc, but overall she cares and I have had the best experience with her. I happened to choose Dr Mamtora with my second child. She gets to the point and gets her job done. Now that I am currently pregnant with my third baby, I had chosen a Dr closer to home (this office is 30 minutes from my home), but the quality of care I received with the other Dr was terrifying! He was horrible! Today was my first visit with Dr Mamtora since my last pregnancy and it was reassuring to know that there are still good Drs out there who care, and overall know what they are doing. Oh, and best of all she makes you feel comfortable. BTW: Just by walking into her office you can see just how many babies Dr Mamtora has successfully delivered in her long career as a Dr. Experience is extremely important and she has it! read more

The worst customer service possible. The office is not dirty or unsanitary i think all the patients coming to her office are smelly and dirty...i know coz i had to go from South OC to get a pap smear done as i wouldn't get appointment anywhere else, it was hard to sit with the kind of patients who visit this office.... you are lucky you guys even have a doctor. read more

Amazing doctor! She was very caring during my pregnancy many years ago. I highly recommend.

I rated this office 4 stars previously when I came once for a Pap smear in 2016. I came here again starting in November 2018 for my first pregnancy. Dr. Mamtora is nice, I will say that. The office and staff on the other hand I could no longer handle. This office is UNSANITARY! I tried for a while to overlook certain things because the doctor is nice and I felt comfortable with her, but it came to a point I had to find a new office and new doctor. The urine samples sit out on an open tray in cups with NO lids right next to where patients take their blood pressure and weight. I've seen several times other patients files sitting around on the counters WIDE OPEN for everyone to see. The rooms are dirty and the wand for the ultrasound is never cleaned, just wiped with a paper towel. I've gotten several rashes before on my belly after leaving my ultrasound!! Gross!!! The worst thing I experienced was while the "nurse" if you can call any of the staff nurses, was taking my blood, she had needle in hand and only one glove on, before she drew the blood another woman walked up with her urine sample in a wet cup with no lid and the girl taking my blood grabbed the cup from her and set it on the tray and then with the same hand rubbed my arm and proceeded to take my blood!!! I was disgusted!!!! I can't imagine they are following any sort of health codes in that place. The scheduling and trying to call the office if you have questions is a JOKE, the staff has zero customer service and they all seem like they hate their job. Part of me feels bad writing this review because Dr. Mamtora is nice and seems like at some point she cared about her practice, but I could not deal with how they run that office. PLEASE look at other offices before you decide to come here. read more

Only because I have to give a star to make a recommendation. Otherwise I would give a negative 10. Dr. Manotea is negligent beyond belief. During pregnancy I was waiting in a patients room undressed for an hour and a half. Got dressed and stepped out. They didn't even notice that I had stepped out. Meanwhile dr mamtora is chatting with the rep for a prenatal pill pharmaceutical during all that time. Like another review stated, I too noticed patients of a certain ethnicity just come in and get seen before others who were there prior. Water broke and i went to the hospital. Hospital called her to ask her what to do with me but she had just left the same hospital after doing a delivery and said she was not going to drive back. Was sent home and had baby +24 hours without fluids. She had me wait until Monday to see her and still wait my turn in the waiting area and make an appointment as I was agonizing of pain to have her see me. When she saw me she was so nonchalant asking what time my water broke. I had to remind her that the hospital called her and she decided to have me released. During delivery she sewed me back up and didn't care that I twitched in pain because I could feel her sewing me. All she said was oh oh. Horrible dr and horrible dirty dingy office with carpet stains and hanging cabinet doors. read more

I went here for a birth control shot for several months and had agreed to pay out of pocket during my last 2 visits since they don't take my current insurance, they had me sign documents that i would be paying out of pocket for the full amount of $60 at each visit. Everything went well until after several months of visits i recieved a seperate bill from them for almost $500 dollars. When i asked why i was being billed as i was paying the full amount each visit which was $60. They stated i had outstanding balances becausie i only paid $20 on some visits but my card was charged the $ 60 on all but 2 transactions. Once they mistakenly charged me $40 so my balance should of been $20 due to their mistake. When i asked to see their records they said they dont have any records before the new year and it is currently April. They admitted it was their fault and said they would fix it so i left. Several days later I called to follow up and I was told they still expect the full payment even though i have all receipts showing full payment and bank statements to match while they claim to have no records. I went back to resolve the issue yet again where the doctor stated she didnt have time to help us and that even if she did she doesnt know how to nor does her staff. She said her employee who could help, but he would be in 30 minutes. This was at 4pm, we waited more than an hour and the billing guy as extremely rude. He said that he had wasted 30 minutes of his time with me. He also told me that my insurance had ended in January 2018, when I tried showing the claims from that year showing that my insurance was active he kept saying that it was irrelevant. While it was good initially i would not recomend using them as their office staff do not keep adequite records and are aparently by their own volition unable to assist customers with their own system due to lack of knowledge, the doctor is very unwilling to help customers resolve and billing issues and claims read more

She is a selfish Doctor who never gives her patient priority in any way. Though it's been almost 10+ years I had my first one delivered by Dr.Mamtora at La Palma Hospital. Believe me or not she had almost killed me with her total negligence, knowing about my health condition she intentionally left me in the delivery room till all of my blood was drained from my body and there was no pulse or blood pressure found. I had my son Vag. but after his birth, I had internal bleeding, despite knowing this fact and my condition she left me bleeding without fixing it, YES she left me like that because she had many patients waiting for her in her filthy office. She came after 7 hours to check on me while I was completely passed out and had lost all my blood. She then took me to operate and fix the rupture inside me, took 3 hours surgery and 4 bottles of blood to fix me. Because of this experience, I was so scared of getting pregnant again. May be for her it was another delivery but for me, it was my first child and the memories from it is no less than the worst nightmare. I thought maybe it was just me, but today as I was at yelp, just browsing I saw reviews for her, she is not even worthy to be called a DOCTOR. Honestly, she is playing with people's lives and she should have her license canceled. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT in any condition choose her as your OBGYN. My this review won't help me in any way, but maybe if she is reading it, she would exactly know who I am and she had impacted my life. I do not want any other woman to go through anything like this. Thanks! read more
