Stay away if you don't want to be ripped off. they showed up out of no where before fire company left and get you to believe they care and will help you through the process. Have they showed up at your place out of the blue? The only thing they do is charge big bucks for clean up and for the repairs I had to pay to another company for their so called cleanup. They will give you excuses for over 6 months then tell you they are so busy and never start the restoration. Terrible company and I would NEVER recommend. My rating is a Minus 5 read more

We've had ongoing water issues in our basement and Mammoth has helped us and been there every step of the way. They remediated twice and were there same day both times we called. On top of that they went above and beyond with helping us determine the source of the water. Finally, after having a basement waterproofing system put in, they did a full remodel of our finished basement that was done fast. The guys were easy to communicate with and did excellent work. Working with their customer service and billing was a breeze, as well. Can't say enough good things about working with Mammoth. Highly recommend! After a massive flooding at my 70-year-old mother's home, her house needed a complete restoration. Her insurance company, Horace Mann, commended Mammoth. There was a deadline to complete the job. It was not completed and they did not finish work as promised. The house was left without a phone line and no covers were placed on outlets. Some bedroom floors were stained differently than others plus there were many other obvious things not completed. They cashed the check from the insurance company and never came to finish the job. She had to sell in "as-is" condition instead of completed as promised. Shame on this company and the way he took advantage of an older woman who would not press them when things needed done. She had to post her house 6 months late and in less-than-ideal conditions. STAY AWAY! read more

This company should be extinct! After a major water incident we were homeless for nearly 7 months. We stopped by nearly every day to observe their work (or the lack of work) and were nearly always disgusted by their lack of quality and urgency. Mammoth is slow, incompetent, lacks any actual customer service skills. Even after multiple attempts they struggled to get a lot of things right. Their work, their attitude and their company is a joke and incredibly shady. These are not professionals, so do yourself a favor and avoid them. They don't care about your issues, or getting you back into your home as quickly. They have no attention to detail (or major items for that matter) and it doesn't even phase them to screw things up multiple times. They will quickly take a very bad situation and make it ten times worse. read more

Contacted my local Mammoth to trouble shoot a chimney/roof leak in Bellefonte, PA. Brought out a roofer, wasted an hour of my day, fed me a line of crap a out how since he's prior Navy he would take care of me, stated it was the flashing around the chimney and a few "missing" shingles in key places. Then he gives me this excuse that the roofe lost his certification and I would have to go through Mammoth, vs hiring the roofer privately, and it was now going to cost me $1,000. After having a leak for 4 years and 2 previous roofers exploring their incompetence trying to fix it...I didn't care, so I agreed. He told me he'd have the contract over to me by the end of the week...that was about 2 months ago. I had the second roofer come back and make the corrections Mammoths roofer said was wrong...and the roof still leaks. That would have been another $1,000 down the drain. read more

The service they provided made me confident that Mammoth was the company I wanted them to handle the repairs. The repair folks were top-notch. Nena went above and beyond what I expected to coordinate with my insurance provider before work could begin. Mike and Jim worked with us to understand what things looked like before, and Team Brian and Brian provided expert craftsmanship, making my place look like new. Our initial contact with Mammoth Restauration - Doylestown was with Corey, but he left a young irresponsible, careless, lazy, inexperienced guy called Bruno, who during the first cleaning day left the cleaning crew by themselves in our property. They did nothing but fooling around, leaving empty cans of soda all around the house, and did not do a very effective cleaning job at all. We found them alone in the property twice while Bruno was doing other jobs. They even used some of our cleaning supplies, and drank our sodas. They broke many items and attempted to cover up the damage. We found several items missing and literally we needed to purchase them again in order to complete some projects around the house. Mammoth did give us a couple of gift cards but they could not cover all the missing and or damage items. We complained to Bruno about the lack of professionalism of the cleaning crew and he got upset; they were literally bossing him around. What can we say about Mammoth Restauration - Doylestown? Their lack of organization, work ethic, responsibility and common sense is galactically stupid for this type of service. Stay away please!!! read more

I had water damage from a hot water heater bursting. My insurance contracted Mammoth. I thought it would be the easy way to go. For every item they fixed I had to fix something else. It would not recommend using them. They painted the bathroom. I had to clean the dripped paint off of the bathroom cabinets and the sink. (most people cover it???). They put one coat of paint on the wall. You could see through it to the primer. I will have to put a second coat. They put new floor in the foyer and made scrapes on the wall. Most could be wiped off. One had to be repainted. (by me). They cleaned the living room rug and dried it with fans. The fans left black marks on the rug. I guess I will have to clean that too. read more

I regret that we went through Mammoth after our house fire. They were recommended by our insurance guy, and not knowing anyone else who had been through a fire, we went with his recommendation. The process itself wasn't bad, but it became apparent after we moved back in that they had cut corners everywhere. First off, they left all kinds of garbage and extra materials here that I don't know what to do with. After we moved back, the project manager and I played phone tag to schedule the final inspection. He never got back to me; found out he decided to just let himself in to our house when we weren't here. They neglected to move or at least cover my childhood piano during their reconstruction. As a result of the massive amounts of construction dust, it was damaged completely beyond repair. They didn't bother to fully stretch out the new carpeting. Several years later, there are still little "hills" every few feet across the floor where the carpet is bunched up. A few months after we moved in, I noticed mold developing in between the two pieces of the bathtub, where I guess they didn't properly seal it. Pieces of the bathroom wall have been crumbling. Mold is also somehow growing under the brand new bathroom laminate. We only have one bathroom, so it wouldn't be an easy process for us to rip everything out and redo. Cabinet doors in the kitchen have been falling off. I had jewelry stolen. When I called the company about it, they didn't return my calls. I would never recommend these people to anyone. read more

It was extremely difficult to work with. Not at all responsive, and when they staff showed up for the first time, they only took pictures and said "there is nothing we can do" then disappeared, without even answering phone call later. After several times of prompts from both us and insurance, demolition occurred one month later but emergency service fee was charged. Then seemingly serious measurements started after a few weeks. Restoration started two and half months after the damage, after multiple prompts and we usually saw their estimate via the claim department of the insurance company. While the old estimate was being disputed and adjusted and new one is being worked on, their "coordinator " wanted me to sign the old one. They finally admitted that in my case it was "messed up" for several times, and the entire process was very disappointing to me. Nevertheless, I paid my bills to them promptly! read more

From the beginning communication was very poor Mr. Munoz came to access the damage that some else from the company had already done we chose flooring which he forgot to take. When the job finally got started workers came unprepared had no idea what they were supposed to do drywall was done poorly painting was horrible I had to repaint after wall painting was done before the baseboards painting was done poorly I had to repaint the flooring was done ok even though I saw many gaps that I could run my fingernails through them. Not enough flooring was order so this prolonged the job then we went back and forth trying to finish the job because we had medical issues to deal with that's the only thing Mr. Munoz was understanding which we appreciated but as far as he's managing the job it was poor. The painters and dry walling workers were coming at different times and many times came unprepared always forgetting something that they had to go to Lowe's to get. As a AAA member for more than 20 years and I always had all of their insurance. Last year I had storm damage to my home's siding which resulted in a small leak. My AAA Insurance claims representative highly recommended Mammoth Restoration and Reconstruction for all of the repairs. I said "sure" since AAA Insurance must know what they're doing. A few days later Mammoth R & R showed up and gladly took on the work and said they would have everything fixed in a few days. Sadly Mammoth has been paid thousands of dollars by me and AAA Insurance, yet water is still leaking into my home. Staff from Mammoth have returned to try a few other things, stared at it intensely, yet water is still leaking into my home. The area they worked in is still a mess, and they appear to have abandoned me. A have since contacted AAA Insurance and advised of the horrific job by Mammoth has advised them to remove them from their recommended list, ask for their money back and to recommend a construction company that knows what they are doing. If AAA Insurance leaves me high and dry I'll have to pay for a competent company to fix everything myself and take AAA Insurance and Mammoth R & R to court. I had our water heater burst and it seems your adjuster is more interested in saving money by neglecting to remove the carpet or carpet pad. Wet carpet needs to be pulled in total or it just harbors conditions that lead to mold and mildew, yes and further damage! Sticking a blower in a uplifted corner of the carpet WILL NOT get the job done!!! Especially if pad is soaked and needs to be replaced, the fans just dry the carpet, the pad 4 days later is still soaked and starts smelling like mildew....meanwhile the fans that are put in place just blow the mildew smell throught my house. It seemed Mammoth works for The insurance Co. they Refused to take out the carpet....they actually said if they remove the carpet then they wont do the drywall that was damaged...WHAT???!!! Mammoth restoration was absolutely no help at all....and Penn Nationl insuance dosnt care about their customers or their house. This insurance company stinks too. read more
