We even moved the furniture around in one of our bedrooms. You can book online and you will get a price before anything gets done. Nevin uses a laser measuring "tape." It's more accurate in calculating square footage.I had to change my date and time three times. They were completely okay with rescheduling. You get an email a few days prior to your cleaning day that tells you how to prepare your home. It was quite helpful. When it came to cleaning carpet, this man has some of the finest equipment. Nevin didn't just CLEAN these carpets, he RESTORED them. And...the carpets are WHITE. Have you looked at your carpet, saw how matted down it was, and think to yourself it would never look plush again? Think again. My carpets look NEW again. We hired Nitanny Chem-Dry to clean our less than 3 yr old 9x12 $900 (sale price) area rug.. it had a couple of small food stains and a couple of small areas where I'd cleaned pet urine from training accidents. We just wanted it freshened for the holidays.. I was given a quote of $150 which I thought was high but ~ it was ChemDry and I trusted them. I had to call them 2 weeks later to have the rug brought back, and when it was returned to us the chemical odor was very overwhelming. Within a week the odor had started to permeate our less than 3 yr old hardwood floor. I called to speak to someone regarding the problem.. the receptionist was very curt.. said she didn't want to "fight" about it so they would return to pick up the rug and reclean it. Two weeks later I again had to call to have the rug returned. The receptionist then told me that she "had stuck my nose right into the rug" and couldn't smell anything but they "cleaned it again anyway". The rug was returned to us on Wednesday, 11/23/16.. that night both our son-in-law and my husband both noticed the chemical stench right away.. and the chemical odor has not dissipated at all.. the odor is very unpleasant and makes our eyes tear. We have removed the rug from our home and bought a new one. I will NOT be using Nittany Chem-Dry to clean our carpets/rugs in the future!
