There was such a constant stream of new pizzas being rolled out that I was in a risk of getting whiplash from watching.
I got the special of the day pizza which was some sort of spinach, olive oil, ricotta cheese, and mozzarella topped slice. The crust isn't like regular bread, it was more similar to a focaccia bread. Not my favorite, but when has the world revolved around me? I also got a side salad that was caprese style: mozzarella balls, cherry tomatoes, arugula, and spinach. Filling, hot, and delicious.
While dinner was pretty good, I couldn't help but notice it was kinda bitter. I mean, sure you expect a little bitter with arugula but even my pizza had a bitter taste to it. I think something was up with the olive oil on the pizza. You know when olive oil turns a little rancid? It was something like that. Not enough to ruin a meal, but enough to leave a bad taste in your mouth.
Where was I going with that? I don't know. Pop in here for some Italiano in France feelings. Decent pricing too. read more
