Great place to hike and check out the water falls, dip in the hot springs and take an adventure down hill on a motorbike after the hike.

Booked through Hotels(dot)com and it was mentioned to call the hotel the day before arriving…read more Couldn't do that because we were on a flight. So was very glad when we showed up around 12pm (2pm is check in) they were able to confirm we were there for our stay along with holding any luggage we had so we could go around a bit. Around 1:30pm we were notified we could check into our room and that was great since we wanted to freshen up! Staff was very accommodating and was able to understand my terrible Tagalog and spoke English when needed. Room was very nice and clean, we didn't realize we needed to use our hotel room key to activate the lights and power so that was nice and interesting. The bathroom was stocked with dental hygiene utilities and we even had a spray for the toilet for easy cleaning. Bed was very comfortable to sleep on and our view was of the city from the 6th floor and it was just okay nothing that interesting. Issue we ran into was the TV remote wasn't changing the volume so I had to dig into setting to figure out how to adjust it. There's no Microwave so make sure to finish any food you have or don't refrigerate it so you can have it room temp. The included Breakfast Buffet was the HIGHLIGHT of the stay, I had thought the food would be the same as the first day, but surprisingly they switched it up with other food for variety. Loved that. Food included a mix of Filipino and American food and honestly is the only best breakfast buffet I've had in Bacolod. For dinner options they feature a Roof Top Bar which included indoor and outdoor seating (Indoor for AC) The menu was mostly Tapas and a few entree dishes but for the price you're paying def get the tapa items and share among your group to get a little taste of everything. Great experience and great price, would definitely stay again when I come back to Bacolod.

Campuestohan Highland Resort - Do resort's owners respect their own No Parking signs? Well, apparently not in this resort.

We took the 11 am shuttle service at Imart. The ride was about 30-45 minutes long. Paid php 50 for the fare per way and php 150 for the resort entrance fee. It was lunch time. We ordered food at the resort. Ala carte / Turo Turo style. We had grilled bangus, pinakbet, liempo, squid adobo, barbecue pork and rice for 4. With a liter of coke, our total bill was php 900 or 1000. At the time, the kingkong and michael jordan is under construction. The rest of their rides are still operational like the zip line, rope obstacle course, sky bicycle and and horse riding. I dare not to try the rides. I rather be safe than sorry. I'm not sure if the rides are in top shop with so many guests availing the rides every day. There's a wave pool. Fun for kids and adults. Lots of lifeguards watching and whistling to prevent guests from drowning. After swim, there's the bubble or foam bath for extra fun. It's a theme resort, overlooking the mountains of Negros Occidental. Great for taking pictures. They offer room accommodations for overnight stay. Last trip for shuttle service back to Bacolod City is 5pm. Go home early to avoid city traffic. Every move you make they charge you a fee. Cash is preferred than credit card.

But my guess is they expanded too much, can't charge what they need to make a profit, and are now cash poor. Our room (inside King Kong), had several leaks during the rain. Our bed and floor were covered in water. The front door didn't even shut and needed to be deadbolted to stay closed. Simple fixes, but when these things start to add up, they become overwhelming. Michael Jordan's leg is now broken off. Several rides are not in operation. What were once hot tubs must have stopped working, and rather than fixing them, they are now kiddie pools. In the kids pool, there is a slide with insanely slippery concrete stairs. My kid fell hard every time I didn't carry him. Someone will soon be hurt seriously, if not already. The shop or whatever it is next to King Kong has become a garbage dump. Also, the whole place needs a coat of paint. The owner just obviously doesn't care about maintenance. The restaurant is good. The staff is good. The swimming pools are good. But I'll be shocked if this place isn't abandoned in ten years when things continue to wear down and the owners continue to refuse to put the money back into the product.

This accommodation is average at best. Definitely not my first choice, were it had been my choice…read moreto even stay here. We stayed in their supposedly best room, the superior suite and it was very underwhelming. The first night there were weird tiny insects crawling all over the bedside tables near the bathroom (possibly coming from the bathroom). We called the front desk to fix the problem and they just sprayed it down with some bug killer. Okay, so note to any future stayers, it seems bugs are a known problem! They didn't offer any alternative rooms or anything for the inconvenience. There was no fridge so couldn't store any cold beverages and if you've been to the Philippines it is hot all the time, you need cold bottled beverages. The beds were average again, 1 queen size and 1 twin size. The room itself is quite small considering its lable. The only blessing about the room was that it was air conditioned. No one else in the hotel is. Just the rooms. The hotel itself looks like someone's villa converted into an inn, with Spanish inspired tastes. It's very open air including the common area. Therefore when it rained, oh yeah things got wet. Wifi comes with the room but it's not connected all the time and very slow. They also have wifi access in the "cafe" area. The front desk staff were friendly but not very helpful. The "free breakfast" is an absolute joke. Don't even bother, poor selection, poor quality and extremely unsatisfying. You're better off going elsewhere for breakfast or making your own! I would recommend this hotel for under budget plebs as they'd be the only type to enjoy this place. Next time I'm in town I'll steer far away from this shanty. Expect the worse here.

Happy to report my doubts are unfounded because MO2 Mandalagan is amazing! Booked through Hotels.com same day as check-in and it went through without a hitch. The Frontdesk Officer looked confused when I arrived and told her about my reservation she had to call somebody to confirm. Good thing, they saw it from their system and I was ushered into my room in under 5 minutes. The Frontdesk Officer needed some basic training as she failed to discuss the details of my reservation with me (checkout time, wifi password, etc). Fortunately, the good-looking Roomboy made sure every information I need was provided so props to him. The pictures of the rooms you see on the internet does not do MO2 Westown Mandalagan justice. It's just huge! Inside the room was a TV, a huge cabinet to store your clothes, two chairs and a coffee table plus a mini ref with drinks. Snacks such as chips, biscuits, and etc are also available for a fee and it's prized the same way when you buy them outside. The bathroom is also huge with hot and cold shower and a telephone(?). There's already a telephone outside beside the bed so this telephone inside the bathroom bewildered me. There's no bidet though. Toiletries include soap, shampoo, and cotton buds - no toothpaste or toothbrush. A/C is super cold and was able to cool the huge room in minutes. The bed was soft and the bedsheets smell nice. Lying down felt like it was nestled in a cocoon of clouds, it was an amazing experience! I would have rates the hotel 5 but the leaky toilet and the malfunctioning toilet flush turned me off but overall I can vouch that you'll definitely love staying in this hotel. You won't have any problems with entertainment too as there's a bar just beside the hotel - MO2 Ice. Fridays and Saturdays are ladies nights so the ladies can get in free. Door charge is php100 with free drinks. Would I recommend it? Absolutely! It's a bit far from the city center but who cares, downtown Bacolod is but a jeepney away (fare is php7.00) and Robinson's Mall is but a few meters away!

I am so disappointed. My husband is usually not very picky but his initial description? "Looks like a Motel 6". Check in the was a painful process, although the front Desk person was really doing her Best to be helpful & hospitable. I would not recommend this place. Well, after I wrote the review above & complained to the Front Desk, the hotel did their best to fix the room smell. That was the only adjustment done but I do have to give them credit for doing their best to get rid of the old musty smell. The hotel & fixtures can still benefit with some upgrades.
