He quickly diagnosed and fixed 2 (maybe 3?) pond emergencies (heavy-duty overflows due to rain or other factors), coming over within a few hours of my frantic messages that the pond was overflowing into my yard, the neighbors yard and the sidewalk. He is talented, responsible, intelligent (every diagnosis he made when things weren't working perfectly was correct), friendly, reliable, and affordable. In addition, I was having issues maintaining the water quality. I contacted Cameron with the intent of replacing the aquarium without losing any of my tropical fish. Cameron responded quickly to phone calls and text messages. He replaced the aquarium and updated the aquascape. He explained changes made to the filtration system as the thinking about best practices has changed over the years. I am looking forward to his next visit. The plan is to replace the old hood with a new one with LED lighting and to clean the tank. I am going to try and post before and after photos but I have never done this before, so we'll see how it goes. So we drove from the elk Grove area all the way out to Rockland to visit the store for the first time and we were not disappointed. Incredibly clean and well laid out store. The tanks are well-maintained and not overcrowded. Lots of ample parking and two of the nice gentlemen were working the day that we visited. My mom and I each purchased some fish and I purchased some decor. We were already super thrilled with this store when the unthinkable happened my mom I noticed looked like she was crying and when I ask her what was wrong I heard her blood sugar monitor go off. It was below 50 the picture you see was taken after the doughnut one of the gentleman at this location saw my mom was in peril and quickly acted and had the other gentleman working in the store bring up his snack bag of powdered sugar donuts, which saved the day I was able to get my mom back on track and some real food in her afterwards, but these guys definitely go above and beyond firstly with an amazing store and secondly with generosity thank you folks so much. We will definitely be going back to the store, even though it's well out of our way it's nice to support businesses who support their community and strangers, especially in a time of need.

My roommate left his Cory fish behind, and he seemed so lonely. I just wanted to make sure he found a good home with friends. I was honestly a crying mess, but Marisol was so comforting and reassuring. She took the time to explain everything and made me feel confident that my Cory fish would be happy here with other fish and he truly was. Seeing him settle in and look so happy meant everything to me. I also really appreciate that they allow you to surrender fish here. If you're ever in a situation where you can't afford to care for a fish anymore, or for any reason you're unable to keep him, you can bring him here knowing he'll be cared for properly and placed with other fish. Marisol's compassion and genuine love for animals (and people) truly stood out. You can tell she has such a big heart and really cares about what she does. I finally admitted I wanted the tank, but not the responsibility of one. I am so grateful that Lee's Feed referred me to TJ at Sure Reef Design. Luckily most of the equipment that I had previously purchased was appropriate, I needed to change up a couple of things. He thoroughly explained what he would recommend, why and the cost involved. He did not oversell, he was not trying to gouge me. I was very clear with TJ, I want 'his tank' in my house, in other words, he take care of the tank, I enjoy the tank. I would feed and fill with water that he provided me. I have given TJ carte blanche with the tank. Told him I want him to be Santa Claus and bring me corals and fish that were appropriate for my tank each visit. I look forward to the visits like kids do for Christmas. After a few months of slowly building my tank was awesome. Little things like painting the back of the tank, restacking the rock made a huge improvement of the aesthetics as well as the enjoyment I received from the tank. TJ has been very thorough and patient with me. If I ask for something, he will either get it for me or explain if he doesn't recommend it, why (i.e. it will eat your coral, will eat your other fish, will require more time to maintain, etc). He will recommend something that will work instead. I have been so happy that he has just upgraded by 40 gallon tank to a 90 gallon tank. I am so excited to see what 'Santa' continues to bring me each trip. Since I have had TJ take over my tank, it has become the stress reliever in my office that I was looking for. Having an annual maintenance agreement and an expert to know what is appropriate in the tank has saved me headaches and money over the last year. We decided to go with Neptune Aquarium design after meeting with multiple companies because of their kindness, professionalism, and expertise with custom design. We are SO GLAD we did! They really took into consideration what we were wanting and made us a custom tank that matches our office counters identically. Torrance and his team are very professional and were a pleasure to work with. At first the stain on the live edge was not the right match and so they made sure to correct anything that was not to our liking. I appreciated that level of commitment for our big investment. I have been so happy overall with our experience with Neptune and I can't recommend them enough. We now have a gorgeous aquarium that our patients will love for years and years to come.

Over the years the biggest issues could have been avoided if the service provided the same technician on a regular basis. Recently I went rogue and tried to care for my tanks on my own and failed miserably! So I sought out Sea Life Aquatics. It is unlike any service I have ever experienced! From the very beginning I could tell this would be a game changer. Only one technician, the owner, would be assigned to my home.
