In one…read moresentence, I would describe this location as clean, modern rooms with the worst front desk staff I've seen in hotel history. When my boyfriend and I arrived, there was only one group being helped by the front desk staff. I went to the restroom and came back and they were still not done. And then we waited for a while longer. How hard is it to check one person in? Well, I found out firsthand. The system somehow didn't capture my Marriott Bonvoy account. Front desk staff struggled to tab through their archaic-looking system to enter basic information. Later on when my friend arrived, they dealt with similar delays and were stuck in the lobby for quite some time. Staff did NOT accommodate the request for our wedding party to all be on the same floor. Also the staff member she spoke with did not know if they could get her a high chair to do make up, and needed to ASK THEIR MANAGER, who wasn't on site. Jeez. How hard is it to get a chair? On a more positive note, the room itself was clean. The bed could have been more comfortable. I had difficulty sleeping. If you look at the picture, the tv was oddly placed next to the tv and not in front of the tv. Strange. They had a blow dryer, a fridge, and dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. In my friend's suite, they also had a microwave. Based on this experience, Marriott is ranking below Hilton and Hyatt for me. I know Courtyard is their no frills brand, but I've had better experiences at their competitor's no frills brands.

The check in staff was helpful, and when I needed a late checkout they accommodated for me. The room was good - though the bathroom had some previous water damage. The room was very spacious, and the bed was comfy as well. The main thing I liked the most was the water pressure in the shower. Was like a fire hose and was very refreshing. Everything else was standard operating procedure. Would recommend if visiting the area

The Internet is awful at best. And the staff is hit or miss. Some of them can be very kind and respectful. Others are just plain rude. The neighborhood is a bit shifty. I didn't feel too safe walking around at night. And I should've read the reviews or understood that there was something wrong when the front desk told me all he has were rooms on the second floor and if that was ok. Why would I think it's not ok? I don't care what floor I'm on. Well, you should and there's a reason. Apparently come night time, there's a make shift club that opens up into the morning. So if you enjoy zero parking spots left for you and music throughout the night, this is the hotel for you. We should've also suspected when we walked into the restaurant during the day and there was a sign that said "party like a gangster." That's exactly the kind of message you want to send to hotel guests.

When I got to my room I realized it was an accessible room which has a large shower that is the entire bathroom area. I called down and asked if I could get changed to a standard room. They sent someone up with new room keys and I moved to a new room - 826. Room was nice - obviously roomy. Couches here probably should be replaced as that was one thing I remember last stay. Had hot water this time - but I played hell with the hvac system. Using the thermostats it was like they had a mind of their own. Wasn't terrible just inconvenient. What I do find convenient and a nice touch is a 12pm checkout. Very helpful for my schedule on Sunday. This probably will be my last trip here due to work - which is sad. Enjoyed this trip a lot. Cheers and thanks for all the good (and not so good) memories.

It's a little rundown what are things and dense and damages for a pretty fairly brand new building only like 20 years old, maybe compared to Ramada hotel, not too far away which is 100 years old and it's a better condition. Not to mention they have a real lobby. This place doesn't even have a lobby. I don't know what they have just a desk and an elevator with the coffee station.

I've stayed here a couple times now and none have been worth mentioning any kudos for. The breakfast is fine- just yoghurt, some berries and pastries. Everything is mediocre here. I don't get the high pricing. I would NEVER stay here if it's for personal stay. The staff is friendly and I liked the shuttle service for when our group needed to go to dinner nearby. The room needs a serious facelift. Who crochets friggin shower curtains? Looks haunted. We usually also have company get together here but L'Escale was closed during my last visit (past week). We had a retirement party here as well and booked the entire first floor banquet and a lot of us stayed here. I see from the other reviews that people are bothered by these parties- I feel for them, but the hotel doesn't have any obligation to let you know beforehand of such events unfortunately.

The property is attached to a loud nightclub, and the noise and smoke travel throughout the building, including upper floors. Despite being advertised as smoke-free, the hallways smelled strongly of weed and cigarettes all night. The room itself was underwhelming. The TV did not work, the shower was poor, and overall maintenance felt neglected. This is not a quiet or family-friendly environment, and it is not suitable for anyone sensitive to smoke or noise. There are much better options nearby. I would strongly recommend staying at the Holiday Inn or Marriott a few minutes away instead.

So a little background on this hotel- it was actually in fact a radison Hotel, but switched names, and also kept some of the same staff. It is now Hotel No Ma. Located in the heart of New Rochelle, NY by the colleges, and by some local businesses to eat at. It is a cozy hotel and even has a restaurant called No Ma Social, where one can get happy hour drinks and food too! At check in, we also get a keychain where one can get a percentage off select menu items. This is also where breakfast is, and it is made to order! Liked that because- if one is in the mood for pancakes, and it is listed on the menu, you got it! Also has a seasonal pool, and fitness center. Easy parking as well, as the lot is big. Friendly staff at check in, and overall. room was ready to be checked in by the time we got there. Room had 2 beds, and a bathroom. Also was very clean and had lots of towels- and shampoo and conditioner too! Beds were comfy to sleep in. Loved the tv too, and watched the parade on it Thanksgiving morning. only con is the bathroom in the room is a little small, and a little hard to walk around in. Oh, and had to figure out how to turn on the shower- but luckily had my parents help on that one. Also, there was no bathroom fan- which-- well for me-- i find the bathroom fans obnoxious and loud, so for me it's good that it didn't have one- but for others who find it too hot after showering, or had to empty out- the fans can be useful. Anyways- overall clean room and was home for a few nights. Also had a fridge and great wifi! Also highly recommend food and drinks at No Ma Social at the lobby- where more pleasant staff was like the bartender Domique! Will write a separate review on that, but highly recommend! But…read morewhen I arrived to this empty hotel after training since 4:30am to see my sisters newborn daughter--I was greeted by no one, lugged my bag upstairs, and was told I could not check in until 3. In the meantime, without a car, they offer no food, coffee, or snacks...until 5pm when the restaurant opens. By the looks of it, the hotel is not full. Both as I am the only person outside on the grounds at 10am, and because the parking lot does not seem full. The gentleman at the desk was not only unhelfpul and unaccommodating, he gave me the nondescript number to the manager knowing (a) it was not a specific number and (b) she was not in. He told me I could wait a few hours to talk to one of the owners... and then try and convince him to allow me to shower before seeing the baby at 1pm. I promptly asked for a refund, unanswered as of yet, and booked the Delamar for the same price AND they sent a car service to get me. Follow the LOVE ! And heed this advice Homestead--If you are going to advertise homey all the more onus to be hospitable and accomodating, If I had wanted corporate style, protocol subpar treatment I would have booked that kind of hotel. Maybe I'm cranky in my old age, but it would be nice if they has a bellman who could take your luggage up but alas, that is only for really expensive hotels these days, it seems. I mistakenly double-booked and knew it within seconds. A mistake that cost me hundreds of dollars that I never got back. I stayed under one of my bookings and talked to the manager about my other mistaken bookings (after we'd been going back and forth for days). He never reimbursed me. Bad business sense on his part. Never again.
