Additionally, the desk chair in the room was heavily worn and really needs to be repaired or replaced. Despite those discrepancies, the hospitality truly stood out. Cynthia, Monique, and Milady were fantastic, going out of their way to take care of me and resolve issues as best as they could. Because of their excellent service, I would definitely book here again.

When I told him that I had booked here, he was skeptical, and referenced some past negative history, including a yelp review from three years ago. I told him that the price was much better than some of the other chains in the area. I told him that many of the recent reviews that appeared on Expedia were quite favorable. The rooms apparently have all been recently redone. The pictures provided on the booking website made the room look both clean and modern. The reviews all referenced the cleanliness simplicity and economy of the motel. So despite my friend's misgivings, I kept the reservation. I figured I would arrive early and scope the place out to give myself enough time to make other arrangements if the room was not to my satisfaction. That is exactly what I did. The room looked exactly like the listings on the booking website. The sheets were pristine White and clean. The bathroom was perfectly clean. At night, after the return from my party, the facility parking lot was filled with decent late model vehicles. The facility was quiet. The beds were comfortable. I noticed there is a long bike trail that runs along a river behind the property and extends for miles. I had the opportunity to explore this path the next day. It was lovely. I also understand from my friend, that this motel was used as a scene in the movie the Irishman with Robert De Niro. Overall, I was quite pleased with my experience. For an economy motel, this facility does rate a 5. I was very pleased with.

The staff was good and while not a five star hotel by any means, it was a good hotel and that's my summation. This was a good place to stay. The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly. The location felt safe. Is this good for large families? I don't know. Is this good for business? I don't know either. In general, the room was clean. It felt safe and the price wasn't horrible. When parking, my car felt secure and overall this was a good place to stay. Not a 5 star hotel, but a great overnight stay without having to worry if I picked the right hotel.

Jessica was super nice at check in, and gave me some recommendations for food nearby (there are several chains within walking distance). There is a restaurant/bar in the lobby as well as a convenience area with snacks for sale. I got a king bed room which was very roomy and comfortable. The mini fridge and microwave are hidden in a big cabinet near the window. The room smelled a lot like some kind of fragrance the first day - it didn't really bother me but could be problematic if you're sensitive to scents. The bed was very comfy, the outlets and USB ports by the bed all worked, and the room seemed clean. The shower handle was installed backwards, and it was broken so it would just spin around after you rotated it to a certain spot - kind of weird. I did mention it to the front desk and they said they would fix it while I was out - I could tell they had run the shower but it wasn't fixed. Luckily I was able to figure out how to get the water hot even though it was finicky. The parking lot was always full so finding a spot was difficult especially in the evenings. There was a row of parking that was reserved for one of the surrounding buildings and it looked like a tow zone, so be aware of that.

Policies are important, but how a business treats people during life's hardest moments says a lot about its values. Based on this experience, I will never book here again, and I would encourage others to consider whether they want to support a business that chooses policy over basic human compassion. Best Feline Hotel Ever!…read more I am so grateful that this place exists. I googled pet hotels near me. Petsmart & Happy Cat Hotel came up. I was not happy with how little space my 4 cats would be confined in with the kitty condo at Petsmart. I decided to visit Happy Cat Hotel Westchester when I was in the area at a random time. It's in a nice, quiet area above a hill with lots of trees, but easily accessible. Upon entrance, I was greeted by Christina and her friendly staff. Even though I came unannounced, Christina gave me a tour of the new and clean facility. The rooms have different world/travel themes and they range in different sizes and price per night. The premium suites can accommodate up to 5 cats and the smaller ones up to 3. The price is not bad and not too far from what I would have spent for my 4 cats for 6 nights had they gone to Petsmart. All the premium suites were sold out and I can only stay in a room that is supposed to be for 3 cats only. However, since one of my cats is a 3-month old kitten, Christina allowed me to have all my 4 cats in that room and she even comped the extra payment for my kitten. I felt so grateful, and I had such a warm and welcoming introduction to the facility. My cats stayed at Catspen (Aspen) for 6 nights. You bring their own food and you will fill out how you want their food given during AM, midday, and PM feedings. I also added a 24/7 webcam so I can view my cats any time I want to. It's also a spa and grooming hotel so I booked nail trims for all of them. There is a Catit water fountain in each room and 2 litter boxes were provided. You can also upgrade their litter to World's Best Cat Litter for an additional fee. They also get a complimentary "enrichment" activity, where the cats get their attention and playtime for 15 min per day. You can have more enrichment with additional fee if you want. Every day I was updated with text updates and cute photos of my babies. I would stay with them again. I will make sure to book early so I can get one of their premium suites (Costa Rica Kitty, Weekend in Purris, Serengeti Kitty, or Kitty Cabana).

His room had a window to the outside and interior windows so he could look at the rooms on either side of him and the cats there. The door to the room is also glass so he could watch all the activity going on. We attended the open house in early June and got to view all of the rooms. The hotel is spotless. Each room is spacious and decorated with a unique adorably cat friendly theme. Our cat was not feeling well in the days leading up to his stay as he had a reaction to his annual vaccination. We had to rush him back to the vet right around the same time we were supposed to drop him off at the hotel. Christina could not have been kinder when my wife called to say we would be late. She made it clear she would be there whenever we got there and not to rush. When we finally arrived, my wife was flustered and upset. Christina and her team put her completely at ease and we knew they would take care of Biscotti as if he was their own. They let us settle him into his room and gave us all the time we needed. Everyone who works there are proud, caring cat parents. They took amazing care of my wife's fur baby and we got an update and picture of him the same night we dropped him off and everyday he was there. It made my wife feel so much better and was the highlight of each day of her vacation (happy wife, happy life)! You can also get a live video feed of the room for a fee and it was nice to be able to see him whenever my wife missed him which was a lot! We consider ourselves very lucky that the Happy Cat Hotel opened near us. We finally have a place where we know our cat will be completely taken care of, played with and has enough space to climb, explore and be a cat when we're away. My wife can fully relax now when we're on vacation. We would never leave our cat in one those loud boarding facilities that puts them in a tiny little cage. If you're a true cat lover, you know what we're talking about! We highly recommend the Happy Cat Hotel and Spa and so does Biscotti!
