Some of the best Chicago hot dogs around and their polish dogs are spot on! Always a smile and a good chat with the owners to boot.

The meatball was on top of the Alfredo. There was very little sauce and it just tasted like garlic. I was not expecting my food in togo containers. It was so hard to eat pasta with a plastic fork. Only thing good was the salad we got. Will not go back.

I chose Famous Meal 2 with the Chicago dogs and onion rings; my husband ordered Famous Meal 1 with the beef sandwich + au jus and fries + cheese sauce. The highlights for me were the onion rings and the snap of the actual hot dogs. The toppings were good; now I know what a Chicago dog is (Tomato! Neon green relish! A pickle! Peppers! Mustard! Raw onion!) and I can move on with life. I took one bite of the sandwich and knew I ordered wrong. The meat was sliced thin and piled high. Curiously, every order is bagged up, whether you dine in or not. It is cute how they have rhymes when they call out orders (Number 388! No more wait! 389! Time to dine! etc). Overall, I was happy to try the hot dog and I would definitely return for something else. Pros: - friendly - lots of parking - open kitchen - fun decor and ambience Cons: - hot dogs are "just okay"

I ate the same thing every week; a grilled chicken sandwich w/ BBQ sauce on French bread w/ onions and tomatoes. Sometimes, if I was feeling crazy, I would get it on a pita, but most of the time, it was on French bread. That marriage didn't last and years later, in the 2000's, I took my new husband to Tommy's in Lake in the Hills on Randall Road. I had been raving about that sandwich (and the beef) since the day I met him. I ordered my beloved grilled chicken and dug in. Oh, was I ever sad when I bit into my sandwich and found raw chicken. I was so bummed. I vowed we would never go back. Fast forward to 2026. My husband decided my "never going back" stance was over. One Saturday afternoon he told me we were going for a ride; we ended up at Tommy's on Terra Cotta. I order my old standard and I almost wept when I took that first bite and it was as good as I remembered the chicken sandwiches from the 90's. Sweet victory. My daughter ordered the beef and loved it. My husband ordered the gyros and was very pleased. We also ordered some poppers to share, they were perfect. The place was clean and the music was great. Service was fantastic. I am so glad we went back (and we have been back twice since that sunny afternoon).

They have a good variety of food options for everyone's budget and even picky eaters. I ordered the Gyros sandwich and it was really good! For $3 more you can get extra meat.. my sandwich without the extra meat seemed plenty enough. My husband ordered the 8" cheesy beef. We were expecting to see the cheese on top and when he unwrapped it there was no cheese... he asked and they said it was put on the bread under the beef. He was 1/2 way through eating his sandwich before he saw it. Since we eat with our eyes first... you would think they would put it on the top. I think they are worried about it sticking to the wrapper, but you could not even tell it had any cheese on it at all. The meal came with fries and a drink. The fries were excellent! We split an order of Mozzarella Sticks and they were served warm and delicious! Overall we would order our food again, except for the cheesy beef... I would just order a plain beef because you don't even taste it.

Everything seems to be up at least 10% all over, so I can't fault them for it. I just wish income had gone up that much in a year. Again not their control. But I just can't go eating at restaurants as much. The price of 6.75 for a dog fish beer was imo kinda high and it was rather flat. The coleslaw was honestly so bad and bitter rancid tasting I had to spit it out. Honestly, not a fan of Cole slaw but this is the first I've had to 100% reject eating. The pickle I got that someone raved about, didn't look great when I turned it over The fries honestly could have been cooked a little more but were pretty good. The best part of the meal was the burger though so that sorta saved the whole experience. I sat on the patio and got good service. I appreciated that the to-go wasn't styrofoam. I had to take 1/2 the burger home. There is a 3% surcharge for using credit cards, so I was glad I brought cash, as I'm tired of getting charged for charging. Ha. Overall not bad, but could use some attention to detail.
