My daughter has always had quite the temperament and a fiery personality to boot, so if you combine that with general discomfort, possible reflux, and a dairy allergy, you get a confused and tired mom--cue me. I was struggling for 7 months, until I saw some suggestions to look for a chiropractor. I did some research but I was still a bit apprehensive, so I kept looking over and over for a decent chiropractor who specializes with children. I found Dr. Kate Wong and gave her a call, and the rest is history. First thing, how awesome is it that she does house calls? That's the first I've seen for a chiropractor. She was very patient and interactive with my daughter, who has a little bit of "stranger danger" instincts that made some of her appointments a tad difficult. But my daughter would surely but slowly settle into her appointments, and I just regret not being able to have them a lot more often. The few appointments we had really helped our daughter. Believe me, I would have loved to follow the treatment plan to the T, because those appointments really helped my daughter relax and not be so angry and stiff. I could literally feel the difference in holding her after the appointments. Dr. Kate Wong was very flexible and worked with our schedule. She also understood we couldn't do too much because of our budget. Dr. Kate Wong also responded very quickly to any questions or concerns I had regarding my daughter and her health. I also appreciate the small, thoughtful gifts she sent to me, such as some organic nettle tea bags (and a recipe, which was delicious) and small samplings of natural tumeric bars for breastfeeding moms. She's also very knowledgeable on different holistic things, current events, and other referrals. Overall, she's a wonderful and thoughtful chiropractor. We've since moved out of the area, but I really wish she could service all over California!

Davis was also a nurse so I felt as though I would be in good hands delivering my first child at home as I had no health issues to begin with. I progressed in my pregnancy, keeping my appointments with Davis and her partner, giving her all the test results and scans that she requested and believing all was well with our relationship. How wrong I was! On my DUE DATE, 40 weeks pregnant, I receive a call from Davis saying that she was dropping me as a client. Regardless of how destabilizing this was to hear in my condition, the way she spoke to me was so cold and cruel. I was completely taken off guard as I did not see it coming at all. No interaction with her told me that she would abandon me at my most vulnerable. Her reason...I never officially gave her my medical records. Odd, as she received every test result she requested and every scan I received. And if this was the case, why wait until my due date to bring it up? Obviously, there was no way I would be able to find another midwife RN to help deliver my baby, I proceeded with her partner and another midwife that she had assist. Long story short, my baby died shortly after he was born. Davis, in an attempt to cover herself, lied and said that she told me to deliver in a hospital. What a joke. Lisa Davis is an evil individual and should not be trusted to protect women in their most beautiful and most vulnerable state. Please be careful, the loss of a child never leaves you and it alters your entire mind state and being. Don't risk it.

I had the pleasure and honor to get to work with her for not one of my babies, but two of them. I had given birth January 2023, she came to our house for every appointment. She listened to all of our concerns. She was so thorough and in depth. Never missing a single thing during any appointment. We Explained to her that we wanted something to where we could be the most hands-on during our birth, and that is exactly what we got. Throughout the entire pregnancy, she educated us. Answering all of my questions. She is so funny, but also extremely professional and truly just a joy to get to work with. When I went into labor, she was there a heartbeat more ready than we were we were taking our time we had two other kids lol. She always asked for permission before doing anything. I felt like I was being treated like a queen. After giving birth, she was so accommodating so attentive. She came to do checks on myself and the baby she always asked before even touching the baby. She respects everybody boundaries. I got the honor to become her friend and kept in contact giving her updates on our baby that she helped bring into this world. Then we got pregnant again and knew that we wanted to have a free birth. But we still knew that we wanted prenatal care and we only knew of one place we wanted to go to get that.. Charlee helped guide us to make sure that we got our blood work done during pregnancy, our anatomy scan, and even made sure that baby was headed down a few weeks before giving birth. Unfortunately, we were moving to Texas to give birth, so there was no way for her to be our midwife. But she helped us by making sure we had a healthy pregnancy the entire way. We made it to full-term and gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl. After giving birth, though my placenta was being a little stubborn. I gave Charlee a call on FaceTime and she picked up it was a little late into the evening and she still answered! (That's because she's truly that awesome) she helped by simply telling me to stand up and cough and sure enough that did the trick! Talk about being such an amazing midwife over the phone in a whole other state. The financial aspect of it all she works with you. Some people are concerned that they want to have a homebirth with the midwife, but they can't afford it. She can come up with a payment plan for you and let me tell you 100% worth it with Charlee , if you were to invest your money anywhere for the birth of your baby every single time I would put my money into Charlee. The medical aspect of it all let me tell you when you see the bag that she brings to every appointment. She is ready for the impossible. I swear she's got like a mini hospital in that bag. The all natural aspect if you are somebody who is trying to avoid as much medical stuff as possible, she's also your go to woman. She will give you different stretches and things you can do to avoid medication pain relief etc The overall aspect of Charlee as a midwife is, she's the woman you want to go to . She's the one you want on your team. I'm so lucky that I get to share this intimate photo of my most recent birth just to show how amazing she is and how much she cares about her past, current, and future clients. Thank you so much, Charlee for everything you've done for me and my family . Words truly just don't express how amazing you are not only as a midwife, but as a person.

My toddler who was 23 months at the time was able to witness her little sister being born, and i strongly believe to this day, it's the reason why she's so in love with her sister. My husband even got to catch our baby with his hands, that's something you can't always say happen. The whole experience is what made it worth it, Charlee is the experience. My pregnancy, labor, and delivery were all smooth and calm, not once did i feel stressed. I even had a scare with some bleeding, but Charlee made sure i got all i needed for piece of mind, and getting checked out. I keep telling everyone how amazing it all was and i will be doing my next birth with Charlee, she's family. I highly recommend, if you can do a home birth, it is a must do, & Charlee & her team are the ones to do it with. Thank you for the amazing care, journey, and the experience you gave to my family and i, there aren't words to express how grateful we are, all great things to feel and say.

I would 1000% recommend doing one-on-one training sessions--it's the best money I've ever spent on myself. Thanks to our workouts, I had an incredibly easy delivery and post-partum recovery. Tal radiates positive energy! She kept me smiling, fit, motivated, and--most importantly--SAFE throughout my pregnancy. Her workouts were not only fun but also incorporate many moves that can actually be used during labor. She was always in-tune to my needs and would adapt her routines--even mid-workout--to make sure I was safe and pain-free. I also loved that she emphasized important foundations (e.g. proper breathing technique, connecting breath to core and pelvic floor, safe ways to get in/out of bed, ways to avoid diastasis recti, etc). I continue to use those skills daily. Not only is Tal a mama herself, she has years of experience as a specialized prenatal/post-partum personal trainer. She even stays up-to-date with ACOG recommendations and takes refresher maternal health courses. As a physician, I was impressed with the depth of her knowledge. If you train with her, you get access to her Strong Mama Fitness online for free--another incredible resource. Although she is no longer local in the Bay Area, she is available for 1-on-1 virtual training via Zoom. Our virtual sessions were super convenient, all without sacrificing quality. A friend who recently had twins recommended her to me and praised the quality of care she received from Ana. That friend also shared how invaluable having Ana as a doula was to a first time mom and mentioned how much she learned from her. Unfortunately, our timelines didn't align on night time support, but I'm glad she was available to assist me at birth. When I first met Ana, I was blown away by how comfortable she made me feel. I didn't know much about doula services, but she was able to explain her role in my birth and it made me feel more at ease with delivering a child. At our meeting, we went over my birth plan in detail, specific exercises / stretches for a natural birth, and she patiently answered my long list of questions. After the meeting, she also made sure to stay in constant contact and send me helpful materials. When it came time for me to deliver, Ana was my biggest advocate. I had a less than ideal birth experience and I was so fortunate that Ana was there to communicate to the nurses and midwives, and to reiterate my birth plan to make sure it was being respected and followed. Ana is probably the reason why I didn't deliver in a tiny triage room! I also decided to not get an epidural and Ana made me feel supported every step of the way. She knew exactly what to do to help minimize the pain or at least distract me from it. During active labor, she continued to guide me until my baby was delivered healthily and safely. After, she stayed to make sure that I was okay before she left us to bond with our baby. Working with doulas has been the best decision during pregnancy / birth and postpartum, and getting the chance to work with Ana was a joy! Ana really focuses on making sure the mommy to be is heard, comfortable and empowered throughout the time she works with someone. Our family can't recommend her enough as she played a pivotal role in welcoming our baby to this world.

I couldn't have been happier to receive this referral after working with Ana. Our work together started with an initial zoom call to see if we would be a good match. From the first meeting, I felt very welcomed by Ana. She was very professional and answered every question we had. I really appreciated the timeline and contents of each meeting. Ana was very clear during our meetings and always made herself available to us via text. The meetings were a combination of zoom calls, phone calls, and an in person visit before the birth and one postpartum. She was very knowledgeable not only about birth itself, but also about how to advocate for moms during labor at the hospital. I'm not the fondest of the hospital setting, and Ana did a fantastic job at making me feel safe and respected at the hospital. I really couldn't thank her more for this. As someone who was skeptical about even getting a birth doula in the first place, I couldn't recommend Ana more.

Jamee was indispensable to my birth journey. Unfortunately, my birth ended up being far from my original birth plan, but having Jamee as a pillar of support to walk me through all the unforeseen circumstances was instrumental. I think my birth would have been so much harder if she wasn't there to provide a calming presence, answer all our questions, hold my hand, and wipe my tears. When I needed an unplanned C-section and she couldn't be in the operating room, I fully expected her to head home, as she had already been by my side for over 24 hours. Instead, she stayed until I was in the post-op area and continued supporting me. Her dedication and empathy extended beyond just me--she was also a rock for my husband. At one point, when he started feeling sick and arguably needed more support than I did, she ran out to get him food and medicine, seamlessly caring for both of us at the same time. She truly made all the difference during a very emotional and trying experience. Once I was postpartum, I had the pleasure to work with Lanie. I love Lanie's vibe--she is always so positive and ready to jump into whatever the day holds. She is incredibly professional, and I loved that she asked for feedback right after our first meeting to ensure she was meeting our family's specific needs. Lanie is very easy to talk to and brings a wealth of knowledge that we truly valued as first-time parents. Best of all, I really appreciated how she took the initiative to identify tasks around the house and simply handled them without me ever having to ask. Overall, I would highly recommend both my doulas, Jamee Vasquez and Lanie Mocherman!
