It's a small place with a very open kitchen, which is nice but also shows a few too many bare hands touching food items. The dish I ordered wasn't as good as I'd hoped. For a grandma tofu to come with a bunch of broccoli that wasn't listed on the menu was rather aggravating in itself. To be fair, I probably should have seen them adding it as it was a few feet away from me that they were cooking. They seemed insistent on putting broccoli in everything, which I hate, but which I imagine they'd omit if you asked. But even setting that aside the dish itself wasn't as flavorful or as interesting as it can be when done well. It was a tad bland and not spicy enough, nor filling enough for the price. I might have wanted to give them another chance to do better, but I probably won't get that chance.

Vegan! I think we overwhelmed the two people on shift that day that both had to cook our meal for us. We also had mango juice to drink with our meal. Made with mango, nothing else. No concentrate, just thick meal in itself mango juice. It was awesome. The meals themselves were lovely, although the injera was unexpectedly cold, but the food on top was hot, and cooked fresh. Dishes varied from super spicy meat, to a mild lentil curry and we ate until we were both achingly full. It was one of the highlights of our trip, and can't praise the place high enough. GO. Enjoy.

Arriving at 6:40pm, the restaurant was only about halfway filled with a placard at the entrance announcing that this evening's Roast is sliced sirloin. I was hoping for lamb but this will do. I sat by the window with my laptop and used some wifi before and after dinner. My meal arrived after about ten minutes, a good portion with sliced sirloin, mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, roasted potatoes and yes, a Yorkshire pudding. A light gravy over all and the only point off is that they did not have any horseradish for the beef. Perfectly cooked, nicely presented and absolutely delicious.
