I tried, unsuccessfully, to call him and asked him repeatedly to call me. After 2 days he said he would call that evening after he completed his work. He didn't call. By this time it was 2 days before the move. I tried scheduling another mover but they were booked. A day before the move I responded that I would be leaving a negative review. He immediately responded that his son had been in a car accident that day. While I sympathize and hope everyone involved was ok that doesn't explain his lack of communication on the previous days.

The actual movers were very polite but said they could not do that. White sofa was not wrapped and arrived with filthy hand prints. Upon contact with owner, he was rude, and said all of that was not in the contract. However, she had asked for contract 3 times prior to moving day. Should have been our first red flag. They didn't do what he said would be done and she paid for twice the time it took. Would not use again!

Otherwise, these guys ( 3 of them ) did not waste any time and were very polite and professional. I called multiple movers and they were one of the very reasonable ones. The two times I called, James greeted me very well and explained how things works. Other than one tiny scratch, none of my stuff had any damage. I recommend them without any reservations.

The people who packed our items threw some into boxes with little care at all. I had broken items, crushed items and damaged items. I also had items that were missing or some made it and some were nowhere to be found. I submitted a claim to Atlas, and they are only offering a check for the damaged and broken items. The don't seem to care about items that where a group and somehow only half of them made it. I understand that Atlas has rules, I also feel that Mallory Van & Storage should be in some way responsible for what their employees apparently did not manager to pack carefully or to pack at all. I am now out over $300 worth of brand new items (the were new, in their package because I had just got them and wanted to keep them safe). I DO NOT recommend that you use Mallory Van & Storage for your move!! I'm only giving it 1 star, simply because I have to and for Steve.
