So why only three stars? Minus one for snack bar shutting down at 2pm and the course was packed on a Monday. And the bartender was pretty much had a "I will get to you when I want" attitude. Even though it was obvious I was making the turn. Minus one for Course condition. They spent all that money during in the last five years or so to redo the entire course. And lo and behold crab grass, dry conditions and bare spots on the greens. I played it after the renovation and it is tragic it has slid back. Inconsistent course conditions and paying high season prices. Need to make it reflect the price or lower them to match the conditions. Not in great shape....So minus one star. I can only assume the Space Wing CG doesn't play. IYKYK

Don't hit it too crooked or the mounding will propel your ball into the palmetto's. Hog damage is getting a bit bad. Just got new electric carts. But no GPS.

We hit off mats but I appreciated the different grass lengths of the mats to give you some variety. I liked the course. It was in good condition. Fairways and green were green and grass was well maintained. I played the green tees which were just under 5000 yds. The holes closest to the next door airport were so windy but on the other side of the course, there were enough wind blocks to make it more manageable. We played fast (which I love). All groups were moving along, even when walking. Carts did not have GPS. There was a decent amount of water and sand but it seemed fairly placed on the holes. As an added bonus, we saw a black boar run across the road on our way out. Liked this course.

Mismanagement By far the worse conditioned course I have seen in a decade.....and the starter had the gall to tell its was because we have had no rain.....in the wettest May in years. No food available unless you called ahead on while on the course. Hotdog in five minutes Chef Mike (rowave) was going to make it I am sure. Staff seemed nice but on the hottest day of the month we only saw the beverage cart one time at 14th tee.....and she was barreling along and would have caught a ball in the grape if I had not stopped one of guys from teeing off. Their greens were in terrible shape (fungus?) and they had not even moved the holes in what looked like days with the amount of growth up grain and how hazed down grain was....I would also ask them to lower the blades on the mower so it actually cuts the greens. Such a shame...I do hope whomever is in charge figures it out....until they do I won't be back.

The worst thing about it is no bathrooms on the back nine but with all the houses going in that may be remedied; the front nine has two. A lot of nice help by the pro shop and staff.
