It was late and the stores were closed, only restaurants were still open. The layout of the Boardwalk is perfect. Between Bass Pro and the old bridge and on the river bank. The Boardwalk also has a Trolley Car to take you from one end to the other. We loved how the trolley goes down the middle and the shops are setup as blocks of stores. We will make another early trip down to actually shop. My wife seen a lot of stores she liked. I seen a lot of available locations for future business to expand to.

Not having much luck at the usual shoe stores, I was delighted to find a Skechers outlet existed at the Boardwalk in Bossier City. (We are new to the area.) The Skechers Outlet has lots of sizes, including wide widths. With the sales, the price per pair was less than the one pair I found elsewhere. I love the ones you can just skip your foot into and the back pops back into place, since I'm older with back problems. The lady who helped me was great. She helped get things from high places, get other sizes and colors, when asked, but didn't hover or offer opinions. She didn't hover and want just trying to make a sale. Will definitely be back!

Or maybe just get the green Tree logo stamped across my lower back. All I'm saying is, I dig saving a buck! This past summer, another chain discount store, Five Below, opened in Shreveport. Everything in there is five dollars or less. I'm in!! Which brings me now to Ollie's here in Bossier City. It's located in the former longtime Kmart spot on East Texas Street and Airline Drive. This place has seemingly everything, and for cheap! Unique and interesting items that won't incinerate your debit card! This is now one of my favorite stores in the area.
