I needed to get a spring replaced for my garage door. I called one business that didn't answer the…read morephone and wanted me to leave a message....I called Avallone because I had seen the shop on Youree drive. I was really surprised at the professionalism every step of the way. The lady that answered the phone was very kind and knowledgeable about their services and gave me a quote in advance at that time. She also scheduled a time to do it...not a window of time as is the usual for home service visits. And when your garage door won't move your car is either stuck inside or out, so they even offer same day service. Our cars were out so we took the appointment...but the lady called and offered an earlier one if we wanted it.... The service was done by a polite and professional young man (Brian) who took the time to explain the features of the system to me, even though they hadn't put the door in. He replaced the springs methodically but efficiently. The service was a good value. I highly recommend Avallone Door and Iron Works for any garage door work.

One has always leaked the other got pulled off the side of my house due to poor installation. They secured the patio top into a facial board on my house that was just nailed in so once a gust of wind got under it it just pulled out. The lags they used weren't long enough. I explained to them how this was clearly installation error and they suggested I do an insurance claim to get a completely new top. They gave me the run around wouldn't call me back or text me for over a month then finally just showed up at my house without calling I saw them on my patio camera. They then took another 2 weeks to call me back and tell me to do an insurance claim and I will need a completely new top instead of fixing the one I have. I asked them if they will install it different this time or the same way. They stated they would better secure the facial board to the house this time. Which was clearly the issue and what they should have done before. I work in the largest manufacturing business in my area and for quite some time I bragged about Donnie Grubbs and my patio tops but I will make sure everyone I know hears about my experience and the workmanship of Tubbs by Grubbs.
