The few times i ended up eating here was due to the fact that its open for dinner at 9pm. It wont catch your attention at first because its a small joint with a few tables. Theres no aircon, either. But it surprised me because when i entered the place, it had a lot of perso ality to it. I appreciate the antique pieces they had in there just like the map of Metro Manila which was a remnant of the 60's or 70's. There are also a bunch of old vinyl records which add to the charm. Even though there wasnt any distinct theme, i could tell the owner has personality. None of the tables are the same but they all seem to be antiques.
About the food, it does not have a very authentic feel to it but they definitely got the flavor that pinoys are accustomed to. Oh yeah and when they say spicy, they mean it. So be careful what you wish for.
I'd say that this is a good place for people who want to get cheap booze with pulutan that tastes good and doesnt cost much. Also for those looking for hipster slash Cubao Expo vibes, this is a great place to chill if youre ever stuck in Don Antonio. read more
