However I had planned a surprise renewal ceremony on the beach in Huntington Beach, California. My husband had no idea! Jenna was so great to work with! A few months prior to the ceremony, she came with me to the site to scout out the spot where she would hide out and take those photographs of my husband's shocked face. Jenna is amazing to work with! Even though she is a newborn/family photographer, she understands the connection between husband and wife. When the day came, she hid behind the cars, and when we walked down the stairs to meet our officiant, I could not see her at all! She hid well! Then she popped out, and started taking photos of us, and my husband's face lit up in joy. He was so surprised when he saw the officant waiting with us, and then once he saw Jenna, he was beyond shocked. (fist pump to Jenna, like we did it!!). During dinner, I also had been texting Jenna as we were running late, and she was so good at communicating with me. She was prepared for bright sun light, or low light. :) During our ceremony, Jenna was capturing each and every moment, and in a way that I did not even know she was there. So we enjoyed our renewal without the clicking of the camera or flash. I was so happy I had Jenna there to take photographs of such a special moment in our lives. 10 years of marriage captured that day! :) I highly recommend Jenna, as she is professional, kind, understanding, and easy going. She makes you feel so comfortable, and very natural when she takes photos of you. It was just perfect! The photos? Amazing! Captured perfectly with the style that we both love. Thank you Jenna for the memories, we are grateful!!!

Jenna is SO talented when dealing with children. She can get our crazy toddler to laugh for pictures when she's cranky, and she was SO patient with our newborn, not rushing the session at all. She took her time calming him, rocking him, giving us breaks to feed him, and didn't get grossed out one bit when our newborn son pooped on her 4 times during the session! Jenna is the perfect combination of professional and fun to work with. She is also extremely efficient. She has gotten our edited pictures to us one week after our session both times! With other photographers we have used in the past, it has taken at least a month to get them back. We have also ordered large prints from her from our sessions and they are so beautiful! The quality is something you just can't get if you are printing them yourself. We highly recommend Jenna to anyone looking for any type of photo session you may be looking for! She truly knows how to capture love and joy in her photos, and I believe that is something that sets her apart from other photographers in the area. We will definitely be using Jenna in the future!

After a few good experiences, it went bad vey fast. When I decided not to do business with her…read moreanymore, she contacted my family members talking badly about my daughter (age 1 at the time) and I. She will leave a session, wipe her daughters bum and say it was part of your studio time, she will sign for cake deliveries, mail, and packages and will consider it studio time. She will go fix her daughters snacks and also consider it studio time. My daughters 1/2 birthday shoot was themed in purple to match her party. She knew literally 6 months ahead of time but procrastinated and waited until the night before to locate the props to no avail. So, I had to sit on the floor of her studio and help out together flowers for a back drop that were not the color I requested. So an $80 outfit and a $25 headpiece were deemed useless at that point. To add insult to injury, she recently used my daughters' six month outfit on another client when she was supposed to mail it back me. Think long and hard before doing business with this lady

Shari brought out their personalities, and the end result never looked "posed" or fake. She is sweet, patient and encouraging. Even my 15-year old son, who is not comfortable in front of a camera, began to relax and have fun with the process. Shari's prices are extremely reasonable, especially after taking into account the time she spends in "post-production" to adjust lighting, flaws, etc. I have used more established photographers in the past, but none of them had the innate "eye" and enthusiasm that Shari displayed. The next time I need portraits of my family, Shari will be the first photographer I call!
