They accept credit cards, debit and cash. Been here a couple times , and we have never had a bad experience, they have a swimming pool perfect for kids , they offer outdoor seating by the pool or beach , the food is always yummy , except for the cheeseburger, it is good but is not a traditional cheeseburger. The restaurant and bathroom are very clean. And their prices are reasonable.

Nestled between the both of them, the rental housing market is expanded exponentially but the number of services are still lacking. The current at this port is not helping as all the seaweed Algae and related trash all ends up at this beach and not the others. The town is very small. When I say small, I mean small. There are two independently grocery stores that have the basics but don't expect variety. The little restaurants and services are pretty much tucked into bed by the time the sun sets. The best bet is to get what you need in Merida or Progresso, otherwise you are going to manage without. Many of the rental properties are about 7 KM from town and there's no cabs or Uber. A round trip walk is 14 KM on a dirt road. If you like the slow lane or the sleepy town with little action and a couple of stop stops then this port is for you.

I have visited a couple cenotes throughout Mexico and am always amazed at the beauty and how clean the water is. The drive was long from the beach so I would prepare early with plenty of snacks and refreshments to power you through the day.
