I'm almost 40, clearly 21, i understand guy is doing his job, it was an impulse stop as i was leaving wegmans. He had never helped me so i understand, a woman i had dealt with many times, i said maybe she remembers me and cab vouch. Just goes I don't know you, and guy was like i need an ID to make a sale, which they don't. Anyways rude staff and expensive is a bad combo. They're not missing out on much money but i will never be goijg back.

My usual liquor store is only taking phone orders right now, and wouldn't answer the phone, lol…read more So I went to check this one out. There was a huge line for Wegmans, so at first I was nervous and thought it was a line for the liquor store! Fortunately it wasn't, but they are only letting one person in at a time. The lines intersect, so I had to stand in the street. It was a little awkward, but they do have a phone number on the window to preorder, so you could do that and pick it up in the back. I was next in line, so I just waited. Inside, everything is blocked off, and they get whatever you want for you. The pricing was a little high. The vodka I got was about a dollar more than I usually pay. The Asti was $2 more! I wasn't about to stand in line at a different store, but that's not a price I would have paid regularly. They got my order really quickly, and I was in and out in like 3 minutes, so I really can't complain. Prices may have been higher due to what's going on.

Since then, as many gas stations have, its been converted to a store. This store is like so many others here in the city. It sells basic needs. Beer, milk, soda, bread, toiletries, cigarettes, and of course lottery and gas. The stores hours are from 6 to 10 Monday through Saturday, and Sunday 7 to 10. The owner and employees are from India. Dont get me wrong I understand it may cost them. But come on. .50 cents plus state tax AND the tax they charge 55cents. For a 99cents a black and mild Jazz at the store is $1.55? I'm sorry, there is no way that's legal. Anything bought under $5 on debit has a 55cent tax. I use debit and credit cards everywhere and I've NEVER been charged so much. I've seen them charge customers different prices higher prices than what's posted. Most of the items dont have pricing on the so they can charge you 100-400% more. Unfortunately this is the closest local store that I can go to since I dont drive, yet, but weather permitted I will ride my bike to a further store. They have a lot of unhappy customers which is probably why one of their window was smashed out .....I DO NOT CONDONE VIOLENCE OR DAMAGING SOMEONE PROPERTY AT ALL, but I guess karma is a bitch after all. They do not give you itemized receipts for a reason. Think about it. Why wouldn't they?
