Fantastic Indian food, and would be great even if it was in a more competitive environment. I started with the lamb samosas, which were perfect. Crispier than typical, more like a spring roll, and I like that. The flavours were complex and the three samosas was a substantial portion.
The main course was the star, though. They have a wide selection of South Indian dishes, which I was not familiar with, and I decided to try one of them. I went with the Chicken Chettinadu, which according to the menu is a specialty of Tamilnadu and is infused with 19 spices. Although I was anticipating it, it was so much better than I expected. Possibly the best Indian chicken dish I have ever had. Great flavor, not overly spicy (I am not used to very hot), nice thick curry, perfect for naan to soak up.
The other pleasant surprise was the cheese naan, which was like a quesadilla. The cheese flavor really added a lot.
I also found the service and surroundings very pleasant. A great meal. read more
