She was able to start the appointment a tad early, which I appreciated. She asked me what I liked about my hair and what I wanted to do. I told her that I like how my hair looked, I just wanted to blend in my natural hair with the colored hair. She took that information and got right to work. She was easy to talk to; it was fun sitting in her chair for a few hours. She updated my hair and gave me a fresh look for my upcoming events. I would highly recommend her.

I had originally asked her to just fix that...the color was brassy. Then I went back and had her put low lights throughout the blonde and cut my hair. She made the top layer of my hair so choppy it wouldn't even straighten. I went back again to tell her I wanted the brown out of my hair and wanted it all blonde again. So she put highlights in it and my hair turned brassy again and she said that "my natural brown wasn't lifting out" well the brown in my hair wasn't natural anyway she put it there but blamed my hair. I trusted her one last time because I am new to this area and didn't know anyone else good and she was highly recommended so when I went back the last time she bleached the entire top portion of my hair then as she washed it out put two different toners on my head and when she dried it my hair was gray/violet because that was one of the toners color she used. She then did a bleach rinse which turned my hair a reddish ash strawberry blonde. Then she toned it yet again and it is now ash strawberry blonde and extremely dry. I had to cut off over 5 inches of my hair because it was damaged. While getting it cut the girl noticed I have a halo of blonde into my brown where her foils bled and she never told me. All she kept saying was that my natural brown hair wasn't wanting to be blonde. All she did the entire time was blame my hair and never once owned up to a mistake she clearly made.

There was a mix up and communication was sort of mixed up because I came in with my brows roaring and she cleaned them up but I was not aware that the wax to clean me up was extra. She was so kind enough to refund me for that service and she really didn't have to because the work was done. LET THIS BE A WARNING LOL, clean it up or you'll pay . The studio was so cleanly and cute. Candice was so sweet and her customer service was A+. She was very careful and light handed with everything she did. Unlike my previous visits, Gaby did not step out of the room to give me privacy while I undressed -- she simply told me to take off my pants and stayed in the room, which made me very uncomfortable. During the process, I was on FaceTime with my boyfriend (camera facing only my face). Gaby made an inappropriate comment stating that I needed to get off the phone because clients become extra dramatic when they have an "audience." I found that extremely unprofessional and unnecessary. I'm an adult and I know how to conduct myself. When she inspected the area, she questioned how long I had let my hair grow, and even after I clarified that it had been 2.5 weeks, she continued to argue with me. I asked her directly if I should reschedule, and she said it was fine -- but the end result proved otherwise. The waxing session was rushed, lasting barely 10 minutes. After saying "ok," she just walked out without any follow-up or indication the service was complete. I paid $85 plus a $15 tip out of courtesy, but when I got home and checked, I was shocked to find large patches of hair left behind -- the job was incomplete and sloppy. My vagina looked like Cynthia from the Rugrats. I attempted to contact the shop multiple times afterward to discuss the issue, but no one answered the phone. I ended up going to another esthetician and paying again to have the wax corrected. I've been a loyal customer in the past, especially when Norma was there, and always received quality service. Sadly, that level of professionalism and care seems to have disappeared. I do not recommend this place anymore and will not be returning.

I was diagnosed with glue in my eyes and had to get a prescription to put drops in 3x per day on my vacation! My eyes feel like rocks are in them. I went back to D'Gal and the owner was OUTRAGEOUSLY unprofessional. She did not like that I asked for a refund and offered NOTHING but a "you signed paperwork." She had no empathy, didn't want me to get license information for complaints. She even called me a "Karen." This is by far the MOST unprofessional establishment I've dealt with. I paid $80 and gave a tip to be injured and insulted by this business owner. I'm very sorry that I didn't read the reviews about Gaby, the owner before coming here. This was my 3rd time here in 2 months. There are tons of other options in Killeen. Definitely, find a better one. The store front looks nice but it is lip stick on a pig.
