It's that point in my life where my skin has gone through a change into "mature". I spent a little too much time in the sun during my youth and now am paying the price. Jessica and I talked extensively about what my skin needs and what we can do to stop the clock! I absolutely loved my facial ~ she has a great touch! When waxing, she was thorough and quick! I recommend her to everyone I know(men & women). read more

Jessica did my makeup for a wedding I was recently a bridesmaid in. I had only had my makeup done once and it was at least 7 years ago so i wasnt sure what to expect. She consulted with the other makeup artist so they could decide what color scheme they would be using and then we got started! She was super nice and explained everything she was doing. She asked me questions about what I normally do for my makeup routine and gave me helpful tips. The whole application process took about 45 minutes and once I saw the finished product I was amazed! It turned out better than I had hoped for. it didnt seem overly done and managed to look pretty natural. I recieved so many compliments on my makeup at the wedding and the makeup application lasted all night. Jess did a great job :) read more

Jessica is amazing at what she does. I just had a pumpkin peel facial from her, and it was one of the best, most relaxing experiences ever. She uses wonderful products, and her technique is excellent. I highly reccommend Jessica to everyone! read more

Jessica is awesome. I move often so have experienced the good, the bad, and the ugly of brazillian waxes--Jessica is definitely one of the best. I went to her old location and while it was a pain to find parking, her actual room was gorgeous and immaculate. I'm sure her new location is even better. The only thing that I didn't love was how long it took. I'm used to spending 20-30 minutes, but this session took an hour. My guess is that this is a result of how thorough and meticulous she is. Luckily, she was able to accomodate an evening appointment so I had the time. Jessica takes pride in her space and work. It is clear that she takes her craft seriously and is well educated/trained. read more

I found Jessica on a Daily Deal site. I was skeptical about the price, being so reasonable for 2 facials. Wow, did I get lucky. First off, Jessica is extremely professional. She has many incentives to keep her business going. I think all of her ideas are great. A punch card for half off services, and if you refer anyone, you also get a discount. It seems like she really wants to keep her customers. Now, for the facial. I had an hour pumpkin peel facial. The first one was great. I felt so refreshed, and I totally saw a difference in my face. It was relaxing, and tranquil. I enjoyed every second of it. I have been trying to find a good esthetician who I can stick with, and I think I fond one. The second time I went in was even better. Not as tranquil, it was during the day and there was someone in the salon playing music, but it didn't matter. Jessica still made it relaxing, and I left there so relaxed. She did a phenomenal job leading up to my wedding. Again, the pumpkin peel rocked. Smells great, but don't try eating it. :) I do plan on going back to GorJess Pro. Jessica is good at what she does and very reasonable. You should go check her out. read more

Jess is great! I found her about a year ago on a Groupon deal. I usually just buy what is cheapest - bounce around from place to place. But Jess is so great I have given up my frugal, esthetician-wandering habit, and stuck with her. She is really knowledgeable about skin and her products, it's easy to trust someone who can explain the how's and why's of skincare. She has continued (and continues) her education beyond the minimum requirements so she can provide the best service to her clients. There were a few times I was late due to work, and she was super sweet about it. I know she has other appts and it can really throw off schedules, which is selfish on my part, but some places are so horrible if you have any schedule conflict. I appreciate her understanding in these situations (I try to tip better too so I'm not a total jerk). Jess is a germaphobe which is exactly what you want in esthetician, and her space is sterile. I had gone to her only for waxing, she uses high-quality wax and it's quick and relatively painless (come on...it sucks). But I recently went in for my first facial and it was awesome! She transformed her space from a bright waxing environment to a cozy, dim, spa-like experience. It was so relaxing. Jess explained why my skin was behaving badly, and what I need to do to take care of it - which is exactly what I needed. After my facial, I received compliments that my skin was "glowing" - woo! I also picked up Dermalogica products from her, which now I'm a month into and they really make a difference. Facts: located in the back of the Jean Claude salon, go in the main entrance tell them you're there to see Jess. Free parking in the back of the salon via the alley, it's a tiny garage, other than that - there's free side streets or meters on 5th. She's cash only - which I don't love, but I do love that she's able to keep her costs competitive because of this. There are tons of banks in the area (B of A, Chase, Wells Fargo, etc.) so plan accordingly. She provides any service related to skin care you can think of (below medical grade of course). Summing it up - highly recommend! read more

Just got back from attending a wedding, where I received compliment, after compliment about how good I looked, and it's all due to the wonderful makeup I got from Gorjesspro today. Tried fake eye lashes for the first time and was amazed at how natural they looked. Thank you so much Jessica! read more

Jessica of GorJess Pro is definitely A-MAZING in her field. I've gone to a handful of estheticians and none of them rate as great as her in my book. Shes at the top of her game. Jessica is very caring, gentle and passionate about her work. She always has the right balance of making sure the clients leave satisfied as well as doing the job right. As a fellow makeup artist who has had the great pleasure of working along side her, shes got PERFECT sanitation skills. No client needs to be worried when visiting her! Jessica is always soothing when it comes to her esthetic work, and creative when it comes to her makeup work all while being professional and perfect with every single client of hers. I wouldn't recommend anyone else. GorJess Pro is anyone's best choice! read more

Just had a facial and back treatment for the first time. It was pretty relaxing and the products that were used smelled good. I bought a dermalogica 30 day starter kit that she recommended and like it so far. Jessica is really cool, she explained everything and answered all of my questions. Jessica is the most attentive, friendly, and client-focused salon professional I have ever met. She really listens to he clients' wants and is always open for any questions they might have about her products or treatments. I recently had my legs waxed for the first time, and Jessica made me feel so at ease throughout the whole thing. She was careful not to cause any unneccessary pain, while managing to get every last hair off! She has also done my make-up on numerous occasions, and I am always receiving compliments on it afterwards. Go to Jessica, and see for yourself...GorJess Pro is the BEST! read more

I had my first facial today with Jessica at GorJess Pro and it was fantastic!! It was so relaxing it was almost like getting a massage. She is very knowledgeable about the Dermalogica skin care line and had all kinds of tips to share with me that I didn't know before. The facial felt so good, and my face is absolutely glowing!! I can't wait to go in for my next facial with Jessica - a GorJess Pro indeed! read more

My first time with Gorjess Pro was spectacular! Jessica, the specialist who did my bikini waxing, is great! She is very attentive, quick and professional. I have never had my bikini waxing done in 10 minutes, though the level of quality still was superior. I liked the small and cozy design of the salon which is located inside the hair salon. It took me few minutes to find it! I will definitely be coming back. Thanks, Jessica;) read more

I found Jessica at GorJess Pro through a Groupon about a year ago. She has been my first and only experience with Brazilian waxes. Her professionalism and creating a comfortable environment will keep me coming back. She is very accommodating with er schedule and always makes recommendations for products to use for upkeep as well as providing samples at times. I definitely would recommend Jessica to anyone. read more

I've been seeing Jessica for facials to clear my acne for over 2 months now. My face has gotten so much better since my very first visit. As a college student, it is a little pricey, but it's so worth it! You can't put a price on beauty. She recommended the Dermalogica skincare line and it works way better than Proactiv. I have really sensitive, oily skin and this product works so well for me. I would definitely recommend Jessica to any one struggling with acne or even those who just need to boost their complexion. She's very professional, knowledgable, helpful, kind, caring, and does her best to make sure you're comfortable. I feel like one of my good friends is giving me a facial. Also, whenever I walk into her room it smells so fresh and clean and has a calming, relaxing vibe. I always look forward to my facials with Jessica. I need to try out her other services! read more

A photographer suggested I go to a professional a make-up artist prior to our photo shoot, Jessica was recommended. Having never had my make-up professionally done I had a couple of hesitations; I have a bit of a phobia having another person do anything around my eyes and avoided contacts because of it, the idea of someone applying mascara/face lashes made me anxious. I don't wear much make-up in normal life and I was afraid of looking like a clown for professional head shots. I explained what I wanted and told Jessica about my fears, she talked me through the the mascara and fake-eyelash part allowing me to take little breaks etc., she was very patient with me and did a great job. Jessica explained what she was doing during the process and gave me lots of tips for applying make-up at home. I love how I looked when she was done and would defiantly use her again and refer her to others. I felt like she listened to what I wanted and did a great job at accentuating my features, very professional and worth the money. read more

Jess is awesome! Very attentive and respectful towards your privacy. I would definitely recommend her as an esthetician. BTW, loved the little gift that I've got! read more

I originally found Jessica through a Groupon deal two years ago. I usually look for the cheapest deals but she is amazing and very knowledgable about her products; and I have been going to her ever since. I started off with waxing and now go to her for all my make up needs as well. She was over prepared for any look that I wanted to have!! She contoured my face (I had cheek bones finally !), put a long lasting base under full coverage foundation, applied an outstanding ombré lipstick, along with a cat eye glam eyeshadow and a full set of lashes (and she made sure I didn't look like mr. snuffleupagus from Sesame Street ) I looked amazing and received so many compliments on my make up. Jessica made me comfortable while I was getting beautified and she really took her time. I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for talented MUA's (Make Up Artists) she truly loves what she does and it shows in her make up application. She is so sweet! read more

I was introduced to Gorjess Pro through Groupon. I got a brazian wax package. My first wax went very smoothly! Jess is very professional and uses a hard wax instead of standard hot wax. The result is a wax that is easier on your skin and practically painless. I have sensitive skin and it is the best wax I've ever had! read more

Jessica did a wonderful job. I had a voucher from livingsocial.com for a Brazilian and bikini wax. She walked me through it step by step. She was very courteous and definitely worked with me through the pain. Overall she was able to help me pick out a good washcloth and I use daily. For all new people who wants to do what I did, I would totally recommend her to them. read more

I've been going to Jess for about 1 year now and have had a great experience every time. When I moved from Orange County I was honestly thinking about driving back every 4 weeks for my wax and then I realized how ridiculous that was so I set out on a mission to find a great local waxologist. I had 1 horrible experience at another place here in S.D. and I considered giving up waxing all together but then... I found Jess. She is professional and makes you feel comfortable, her room is always clean, she is knowledgeable and very accommodating. Jess is awesome and I highly recommend her. I always try to get there early because sometimes parking can be a pain but if you give yourself plenty of time then it shouldn't be an issue. read more

Jessica is awesome in every way! She is skilled, professional, and personable. Hands down the best waxer I've ever had. I found her on Groupon, and bought her 3 Brazilian wax package. She is extremely sanitary and only uses top of the line products. She made me feel very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly she worked and how little pain I felt. I was very impressed! She's definitely got a faithful customer in me! Not to mention she is super fun to be around! I am so happy I found Jessica via Groupon when I moved to San Diego 2 years ago. I have had a variety of experiences with waxing (some ok and some very bad) as I moved frequently. Jessica is by far the best Brazilian wax I've had at an affordable price! She is very professional and makes you feel comfortable the second you come in. It is obvious she is very knowledgable and skilled in her profession. I would highly recommend Jessica for waxing (she does great eyebrows too). read more

I came in for a facial and chest wax. It was relaxing and ya the wax hurt but it was worth it. She was nice and I like the rewards card.

Brazilian waxes are not exactly pleasant... but Jessica made the session as pain-free and comfortable as possible. She is very professional and super easy to get along with. I'm so bummed that I live in Utah and was only visiting San Diego for a few weeks... otherwise I would definitely come back to her for waxing every month! Even after our session was over, she took time to talk with me about skin care, too. How to pick good cleansers, moisturizers, exfoliants, etc. I learned so much more useful information in 5 minutes talking with her than I every have about skin care. Next time I'm in town I'll be sure to schedule another appointment! read more

Jessica is great! She uses high quality wax and does excellent work. I highly recommend her!

I highly recommend her to everyone. I have had trouble finding someone who shapes my brows well, but Jessica is always does a great job!

I found Jessica on Groupon, at the time she had a super good Brazilian Wax deal going on & had great reviews so I decided to try it out. I loved the service so much I decided to keep going at her regular rate. Her space is on the smaller side but she makes it feel and look extremely comfortable, beautiful and immaculate. The last thing you want when getting a Brazilian is a messy esthetician with an unsanitary station!! She's great and uses the best quality products and takes her time and takes pride in her work. One downside is trying to find street parking in the area and that she only takes cash. But she lets you know of that ahead of time so you can plan accordingly. I would recommend her 10/10. read more

I bought a groupon for a brazilian wax at GorJess Pro. This was my first time doing the brazilian wax and Jessica was very nice and made me feel comfortable. She did a great job, there was little/ no pain during and after the procedure. Jessica is a knowledgable and professional esthetician. Other services within the Jean-Claude salon look appealing, too as well as the really cool neighborhood of Hillcrest. I will have to come back! Thanks! read more

This was my first time being waxed (ever) and Jessica made it a very positive experience. She walked me through the whole process with a friendly, caring demeanor. She also checked on me throughout the process making sure I was handling it alright. While of course getting waxed would be painful, I know she made it as painless as possible for me. I also appreciated the top quality products that she personally uses on herself as well. I will definitely be going back to her again and highly recommend her. Thanks a bunch Jessica. read more
