Anna is very talented with many years of experience. She listens and personalizes your individual experience. She's also fun to talk to!

I am a local photographer, and not only does Anna do my personal makeup for all of my shoots, I use her (almost exclusively) for my senior shoots. I cannot say enough good things! Anna is reliable (super important), sweet, and knows how to make you feel GOOD and look amazing (but not overdone) which is very important for senior pictures! If I could give her 10 stars I would. She recently started brow services too, which were amazing, and I can't recommend henna and waxing as well! Thanks for being the best, Anna! read more

One of the best decisions was booking Anna for my wedding makeup! She helped me feel relaxed and beautiful during the frustration of Covid last year. So many times I had to rearrange my date and she was nothing but understanding. Extremely professional and a great makeup artist. She went above and beyond my expectations and made me the happiest bride. read more

I hired Anna to do my makeup for my wedding along with the moms and bridal crew. She was soo sweet and responsive from the beginning. i initially found her on instagram and liked that she seemed to do a variety of looks, I felt like a lot of the makeup artists in the central coast were only doing one specific makeup look for one particular looking type of bride. Anna had variety and I appreciated that. I hired her without doing my trial first as we live out of the area. I went and saw her for my "engagement" pictures and did my trial then, about 6 weeks before the wedding. She was super sweet and flexible to my schedule. I showed her an inspiration picture and discussed my makeup needs with her and she did an AMAZING job. Asking me how I liked things as she went along to make sure we were on the same page. The day of the wedding, she was on time, sweet, and did a great job on everyones make up. My best friend and maid of honor is super into makeup and doesn't really let just anyone touch her face, she is also African American so was a little nervous about letting someone do her makeup, but after talking to Anna and looking at her insta she went for it. She was SOOOO excited and happy with her makeup. Everyone else also loved the job Anna did and were so happy. I obviously loved mine as well and got so many compliments about how beautiful I looked (thanks Anna!) If you are looking for a makeup artist, hire Anna, you won't be disappointed. read more

I found Anna through Jenn from The Queen Bees and she was exactly who I was looking for! During my trial, she asked if I had any inspo pictures and after going through them, she worked her magic and checked in with me every time she moved on to a different step to make sure I approved of the colors and saturation. The Trial Look was amazing, but after wearing it outside and seeing how I looked in photos, I realized I needed a little more oomph. I admit, I was hesitant to book a trial since I live 300 miles away, but it's worth every penny since I was able to narrow down what I wanted. For my Wedding Look, Anna put a different primer on, used a little more blush, eyeshadow, etc, and when she revealed the final look, I GASPED because I've never seen myself so beautiful!! I'm no stranger when it comes to make up, but oh my gosh...I don't think I could ever do what Anna did, especially in the amount of time she did it in! All my bridesmaids loved their looks and their makeup preferences ranged from: the Dramatic Kim K. Look to the Naturally Beautiful, Billie Eilish. Thank you, Anna, for all your hard work! read more

Anna is so incredibly talented! She did my bridal party makeup and made me look and feel more beautiful than I ever have in my life. I cannot believe how lucky I was that she was available for my wedding. Not only is she an incredible artist, she is also a fun person to talk to -- my girls and I loved her. Obsessed! read more

I recently met Anna Grimes, who committed to do my makeup for my small wedding coming up next month after a previously-booked makeup artist cancelled on me. Anna promptly replied to my email inquiry to let me know she was available, explained her services to me, set up an appointment time for a trial run, and I was in to see her before the end of the week! She requested a few pictures to get a feel for the look I wanted and then combined this information with her artistry to create a lovely, long-lasting look. She is very friendly and professional and makes you feel very comfortable as she does her work. I got several compliments throughout the day after my trial run! I am looking forward to working with her on my big day and would strongly recommend her to anyone seeking out a mobile makeup artist. read more

Anna is an amazingly talented makeup artist that made my bridal party, friends and the mothers feel beautiful on my wedding day. I loved that she was able to fit me in so quickly, and she came to me. She was very personable and did a great job. The reason why I only gave her 4 stars is because I was looking for more cover-up of my wrinkles in certain places, and the scar above my lip. Perhaps I needed the bridal practice the night before the ceremony, so that part was on me. She did a great job with my eye makeup, and I loved the eyebrows and false eyelashes. Wish I could have kept them on longer. I would definitely recommend, and would use her again. read more

Anna is amazing! She has done my makeup many times over the years, but most recently did my wedding makeup. She did a wonderful job. I wouldn't trust anyone else on the most special day of my life! From beginning to end it was great. She did my trial a couple months before the wedding and I knew I made the right decision. She was on-time on my wedding day and worked her butt off to get everyone done (even some last minute girls). read more

Anna did my make-up for my engagement shoot on the beach on 10-8-10. She did an amazing job of executing a natural look that still showed up in the pictures. She was professional and worked wonderfully with the photographer that we had chosen. She was very easy to get along with and made me feel comfortable. When the photographer noticed that my fiancee's nose was shiny, Anna whipped out the oil blotting sheet and took care of that. I would recommend her service to anyone who needs make-up done for any event. She has alot of experience, and it shows. Thanks Anna! read more

I wouldn't suggest, I called and left a message no word back so if you really need someone I could consider someone else.

Anna is a true artist and is dedicated to perfecting the exact look you want for your wedding, and especially wants to make sure you feel comfortable in the makeup you wear. She is SO organized, professional, and listens to your needs and wants while also suggesting/collaborating with you on what would work best with your skin/look for the day. I am still stunned by how well my makeup looked and felt - I didn't even feel like I had make up on and sometimes forgot I did! On top of that, I pretty much cried the whole day and my makeup DID NOT BUDGE. Anna also has a great sense of humor and is a joy to hangout with. She thinks of everything (because again, she is SUPER organized and thoughtful), and even provided a paper straw and touch-up bag for me to make sure I was prepared for the day and didn't mess my lips! 1000% would recommend her to anyone! I received a lot of compliments about how natural my makeup looked and that was exactly what I wanted! read more

Anna was such a pleasure to work with! She did my make-up for my wedding as well as my bridesmaids. Anna is amazing to communicate and coordinate with and is very accommodating to your needs. Her work is flawless! My makeup did not run, crease (which I always have problems with), flake, or any of those awful things you worry about, especially for your wedding day! She creates the image that you are envisioning while making you feel like you have known each other for years! Additionally she helped my to find an equally amazing hairstylist - Janina Cannon! I would recommend her to everyone! read more
