A couple of weeks later, a young woman called and said the battery was replaced but there was a broken part that needed replacing for it to run. They gave me an estimate and I agreed to have them proceed. A month later, still no watch,I called them and the older guy who sad he does repairs said I had never authorized the repair. I recounted the whole story and the guy insisted he was never told. I asked how long it would take now and he said he didn't know, because he might have to get the glass from from Bulova. I expressed my displeasure at the poor customer service and lack of being able to give an answer. He lost his temper and told me to come get it, that he did not want to work on it. At this point, I believe Bergey's broke the watch, doesn't know how to repair it, and that is why it has not been repaired. I shop locally but I will never shop here again and will be sure all my friends and family know about this. The fellow on the phone was thoroughly unprofessional.

I visited more…read morethan five other diamond shops prior to the diamond center they led me to look for better service. And I found exactly that at the diamond center on the west side of Madison. Tricia helped me find my ring and I bought it the first day I entered that building. I needed the custom ring within 10 days and Tricia got it completed and ready in six. I picked it up and it looked absolutely beautiful. Update: ended up needing it resized. I left Tricia a voicemail and she got me in the next day to drop it off and they had it ready in five days. Again, meeting my sharp deadline! I've been completely satisfied with a diamond center so far!

After about two year, the center stone fell out and I was told by another jeweler that TWO prongs would have had to fail for this to happen. TDC would not honor this because it. had been 7 months since I had my ring checked. The ring was just a few years old and I worked in an office. I was not hard on my jewelry. I had to purchase another stone (why did I buy it again from them???) to fix. I know things can happen but when you build a ring and I pay for the stones, the least you can do is not have it fall apart. And if it does - stand behind it and make it right. I had to make a claim on my homeowners who nearly dropped us for such a large claim. I sent a letter to the owner and naturally received zero response. Decided to never go back and we took all our spending elsewhere. We moved our business from TDC to Goodman's where we purchased many new pieces over the years. Now we live closer to Oconomowoc and go to a local shop where the jeweler is on site and they do stand behind their work.
