And we have to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to Matt...When we arrived back in Ft. Lauderdale this last trip our vehicle battery was dead. Matt went above and beyond to help us get a replacement battery, and helped my husband install it. That is not a level of care you will find elsewhere! What could have been a terrible ordeal was reversed by the unhesitating offer of help. Excellent customer service with Watermakers Air! They made the entire process a breeze. Booked a flight to Staniel Cay and the lady on the phone was patient and informative. She explained all weight restrictions and fees. On the day of the flight we arrived at the hangar one hour before boarding and were immediately greeted and our bags were taken. By the way, parking is free!! The waiting area is comfortable and stylish. We treated ourselves to some complimentary tea and granola bars before boarding. The Pilot was also very nice! He explained that there would be a short stop along the way to customs. We are already looking forward to our next trip with Watermakers Air! read more

My wife and I flew Watermakers Air from Ft. Lauderdale to Staniel Cay on 12/29/18 and returned on 1/5/19. First time flying with them and I had to write because we were very happy. There is a nice waiting area with snacks and drinks, people were very nice. This was our first time in such a small plane too. We were nervous but our pilot was great, there were some bumps but all in all, excellent flight down. 1 hour 20 minutes to Congotwn to clear customs and then another quick 30 min flight into Staniel Cay. (Paradise) Awesome pilot on return flight. He dodged the thunderstorms that were lined up at the Arabicos and it was a very smooth flight the entire time. No stops on the way back. I've been using Watermakers Air since the early 90's and it has always been my favorite flight anywhere in the world. Check in is a breeze, there are complimentary drinks and snacks while you wait for them to load up the plane and the flight to Staniel Cay is the most beautiful flight anywhere. You feel like a king walking up to you own private plane and the employees are awesome and down to earth, not to mention the pilots really know their stuff. Never had a problem and wish I could use them for travel everywhere! read more

Under no circumstances should you use this company for any travel whatsoever. First, they hide a number of negative provisions in their online agreement, and then never explain any of it when booking. They make verbal promises that are not kept, and then avoid assisting when necessary. We booked a flight to the Bahamas, and spent extra money to make it a charter, but were told the day before that it was a full, typical flight. Moreover, we were informed last minute of a weight limit, which again was not explained prior to booking and made getting there virtually impossible. When these items were pointed out to them, they were rude and aggressive, and refused to provide contact information for any staff at the executive level. Overall, this is a poor operation, and avoid at all costs. read more

My wife and I have used Watermakers many times over the years. Recently we flew out to the Bahamas and 4 days later my wife became seriously ill and had to fly back to Ft Lauderdale on an emergency chartered flight. She went straight in to the Hospital. I advised Watermakers that we were back in Florida and would not need our return flight and explained the circumstances. I was advised that since I had not notified them within 48 hours of the flight we would lose all credit for that portion of our flight ($500+). Not talking refund here, just credit for future use - all gone. Under the circumstances and the cost we incurred with the emergency flight, I consider this the worst possible customer service. read more
