I had a 1940s themed wedding I was a part of so I wanted to create that subtle monochromatic eye look with a subtle lip rather than a bold red/orange to keep with my champagne dress and added lashes to help my blue eyes pop. Yelp reviews sounded good but now I'm questioning if they're real reviews. I would NOT recommend this place. Came in for my appointment. One of the girls washed my hair, spent 10 minutes. The owner who didn't even introduce herself, proceeded to cut my hair. Thankfully, I had a photo for her to reference and made sure to specify not to cut it too short. She was mindful of that. However, as she proceeded to cut my hair, she did not section my hair off, or part it or even comb it. Wearing gloves and with a loose tooth comb, she just combed the front of my hair down and cut. Grabbing random parts of the front. Combed down and cut. She was using thinning shears, I think. She spent no more than 15 mins, then told the other girl to style my hair. The other girl blow dried and curled my hair. I could tell she had more technique. She sectioned off my hair blow dried and curled. I was done in 45 minutes from the minute I walked in. Charge $90 for a haircut that my kid could do.

Before my appointment, I sent her a photo of my current hair along with a few inspiration pictures of what I was hoping to achieve. Right from the beginning, communication was easy and I felt like she understood what I was looking for. The salon itself is adorable clean, welcoming, and has a really cute modern feel. When I met Brooke, she took the time to actually look at my hair and talk with me about my goals. One of the most important things to me is keeping my hair healthy because I'm trying to grow it long which has taken some time. She was very upfront that getting exactly where I ultimately want to be would be a process, and I REALLY appreciated that instead of trying to do too much in one appointment.
