This company will try and screw you out of as much money as possible. We just received our…read morestatement regarding our security deposit and we were charged $1,146 out of the initial $1,550 deposit. Some of the line items were valid, I'll give them that. However, not over $1,100 worth of them. Be sure to take a picture of literally every single square inch of the house or else you will get bogus charges for "touch up paint" where they could just slap some paint on whatever surface regardless of if it needed touching up or not or a $300 landscaping fee even if you have mowed the yard. I'm certain that the only reason they have the ugly bushes on the premises is so they can claim that you did not care for them, even though they looked like trash anyway. They'll also claim that you damaged their tubs/sinks when what they do to "fix" them is put some cheap paint over them that will chip and wear off with regular use and water. There is plenty more of difficulties with the company/customer service, but I'm already tired from this last year with this company and writing this review. Save your time and your money and choose someone else to rent from!

The application was clear and fast, once I was pre-approved, they were able to tell me how much I was approved for, and I was able to start the process searching for my future home. In regards to the most recent home, on move-in day, there was trash left all through-out the home, appliances left, and broken flooring/walls. I was left to clean the property myself. I was then assured that these damages were "minor repairs" caused by the previous tenants, and I would not be responsible for them. The condition of the home was not inspected or documented upon my move in. At the conclusion of my lease, I was not given my security deposit back due to the damages caused by previous tenants. I was told that this was a "normal business practice." Terramark clearly fails to use standard documentation practices in an attempt to get as much money as possible from tenants. Terramark has undergone management issues the entire time I have been involved with the company. I would have to text message different workers at the company to get assistance, as calling the company and leaving voicemails never seemed to be an effective method of communication for them. 0/10
