This company will try and screw you out of as much money as possible. We just received our statement regarding our security deposit and we were charged $1,146 out of the initial $1,550 deposit. Some of the line items were valid, I'll give them that. However, not over $1,100 worth of them. Be sure to take a picture of literally every single square inch of the house or else you will get bogus charges for "touch up paint" where they could just slap some paint on whatever surface regardless of if it needed touching up or not or a $300 landscaping fee even if you have mowed the yard. I'm certain that the only reason they have the ugly bushes on the premises is so they can claim that you did not care for them, even though they looked like trash anyway. They'll also claim that you damaged their tubs/sinks when what they do to "fix" them is put some cheap paint over them that will chip and wear off with regular use and water. There is plenty more of difficulties with the company/customer service, but I'm already tired from this last year with this company and writing this review. I just want to take a few minutes and let everyone know the nice and professional experience I had renting from Conrex Property Management (Greenwood Indiana). The application was clear and fast, once I was pre-approved, they were able to tell me how much I was approved for, and I was able to start the process searching for my future home. The process went smoothly, and I was able to move into my new place in a few days after I submitted deposit/rent. The year that I was there I had to put in a few tickets for Maintenace request issues and everything was taking care of the next day. I couldn't ask for more from Conrex Management. After Letting Conrex know that I will be moving out and not renewing my lease for another year due to: buying a home, the process went by so smooth. My leasing agent Amber Pachucki help me with the whole process and not mentioning her Supervisor Darlene Cobb who took care of everything to make sure all the process of getting all of my deposit worked out great. If there was a lower rating I would Had major plumbing issues. dug up back yard to road . Yards flooded...bugs...feces....and will NOT come out and repair. Leave message after message...no response. and the kicker is apparently the owner is SF military...you would assume they would take care of their own.... apparently according to CONREX...there are no issues with the yard..... read more

Not too sure this isn't a BIG SCAM!!! I followed through instructions to have access to view two rental homes. I was given codes that did NOT work. There are several numbers to contact a human at Conrex..NO ONE ANSWERS!!! Called a couple of 1-800 numbers, finally got a gentleman that informed with a one time credit card payment, I would have access to view these homes. Ok...sooo, you want my credit card number over the phone, too view rental house where there is a local "Conrex" in my area with humans that work there but do NOT answers the phone when you want to speak to a person. Conrex Property Management is without a doubt the least professional, most conniving, worst business I've ever dealt with regardless of industry, whatsoever. First the house: I moved into one of their 3-bedroom homes with a friend of mine looking to add another roommate soon to decrease our portion of the rent. Soon after moving in, our floors bubbled up so badly that you could not open the door to the third bedroom (obviously couldn't get the other roommate in). It took about a month for them to get around to fixing it, and another to get the job done, and in the process, they threw all the old flooring into the yard and did not pick it up - left it for guess who. We asked for credit on the two months when we had two rooms, obviously not expecting 1/3 off each month, but a decent chunk.. ya know? They gave us a $30 credit for the following months rent. Then, in the middle of the summer, our A/C won't drop below 77. What's their fix? They tell us to just leave the A/C off during the day. Moving Out: Because we could not wait to get away from these slime balls, we move out after the year long contract, and tell them we're going to do so three weeks in advance. Bad experience, end of story we thought. About four months later, I get a call from a debt collector, who has now flagged my credit, saying I owe 6k for unpaid rent to this scum company. I'm warning all who read this: Do not lease from them. If you see a sign in a yard, stay away. They buy old, rundown houses, put some plastic wood-looking material on the floor and a stainless steel fridge to make the house look nice on the inside but quickly and drastically deteriorate, then tell you to go to hell. read more

‼BE AWARE‼ I became a resident with Conrex rental property in 2018 and currently still a resident. Over these years I have truly enjoyed my home and the neighborhood I currently reside in. It kind of help me overlook the ignorant office staff. But that is it. The property manager FREDRIC TATE is the WORST. It started in 2019 a complete year after moving in FREDRIC called me and practically strong armed robbed me over the phone because he didn't request a deposit from me upon move in. (Yes one year later) He threatened to put me on his eviction list to take to court. Because I know he never requested a deposit I told him the judge would rule in my favor because I never should have had the keys let alone reside here for a whole year. Nevertheless I payed the deposit only for another year to pass and I got a phone call saying I owed over a thousand bucks because I never switched my sewer into my name well I had an account with the city of Jackson for water and sewer because this is who I was advised to get my services through. Conrex let it accrue for over a year all to again give me the bill. Now bringing you current. This company has decided for its residents to use a property management company for utilities upon doing so the residents were not in on the decision however the residents are now responsible for the monthly additional maintenance fee to use this service. So upon them switching the property management company owed entergy so you guessed it entergy turned my lights off for 4 days I've called simple bills and Conrex to no avail and neither will take my calls about my grocery loss. FREDRIC TATE THE WORSE PROPERTY MANAGER EVER told me it was my fault the property management group owed entergy and my lights were off. Meanwhile I'm calling FREDRIC AND HIS SECRETARY BUT FREDRIC NEVER GOT ON TO ASSIST UNTIL HE MADE TIME TO TELL ME IT WAS MY FAULT‍So this happened Nov 2020 today is FEB 2021 and I'm yet to get anyone on the phone from corporate or the local office to discuss this new way of paying utilities. Did I say I am yet to get a utility bill and from the sounds of it may be charged all the months at once. And yet again CONREX my local office supposed to be assisting and I can't get anyone to answer. I am writing this message because I am extremely disappointed with the management and maintenance of this house during my time as a resident. I have had numerous complaints over the past seven months that have either been disregarded or handled in an unprofessional manor. My situation has gotten to a point where I am uncomfortable in doing business with this company any more. If these complaints are not taken care of in a timely manner my lawyer will be in contact with your legal department. At the beginning of my lease I set up all the necessary accounts per the request of the Conrex Property Management. These accounts included basic utilities that needed to be in my name before I moved in. Fast forward to September of 2019. My power was turned off for four days without any warning from Conrex or Entergy. During that time I gathered information from Conrex, Entergy, and the City of Flowood. The cause of this interruption of services was due to Conrex failing to finish the required city ordinance that was sent by the City of Flowood. Conrex's excuse was, "It seems we just did not see the final inspection request come through." Unfortunately, that is unacceptable. For the first two months I lived in this house it was not legal to be on the market, since the required city ordinance had not been completed. Yet they handed me the keys and thanked me for my business. I will condense the other complaints over the past six months in order to keep this message as short as possible. The kitchen counters were old and in bad condition since I moved in. This issue was addressed, however the technician that came to "fix" the counter tops ended up making them look worse in addition to cosmetically damaging them. The now look worse than before. The master bathroom tub was rusting upon my move in date. This issue was addressed, yet instead of correctly removing the rust and repairing the tub the technician simply splattered a silicone type substance over the rust to hide it. It took three different technicians over a month, at least, to fix the light that was out in our garage. I noticed about two months ago there was a major leak in the living room fireplace. The leak was so bad that there was standing water in my living room during rain storms. It took over a month to resolve this issue, and yet again their solution to this was sub-par at best. I was notified one day that the leak was fixed. I came home to find my outside furniture laying in the yard covered in mud, old shingles scattered all over my outside porch and thrown throughout the back yard, and a tar like substance sprayed all over the exterior of the chimney that also found its way to covering the grass in the backyard. I will note that the leak was fixed, although I asked every technician that came out to submit a request for someone to come and check for any mold that might be left behind from the water that entered the house. No such request was made, and for all I know there could be black mold under my living room floors. My dishwasher broke a couple months ago. I submitted a request for it to be repaired and a technician came out to check on it. He could not repair it that day and left with a parting note, "I will need to do some research to see if I can find the part I need to fix it. If I can't find it I will call you tomorrow morning to confirm that we are going to replace the dish washer with a new one." The next morning came and went. I waited all day and no phone call. I called to follow up the following afternoon to check on the situation. The lady I spoke to then told me that they would send a technician out to replace the dishwasher with a new one. A tech did in fact come out the next day to replace the dishwasher. When I got home I was met with the worst repair made to the house yet. The new dishwasher that was installed was bigger than the hole in the cabinets where it was designed to go. You would think that the tech would call and say they made a mistake and will be back with the correct size dishwasher, however that was not the case. Instead the technician hacked away at the counters, marring them and chipping away wood. He did not bother to clean up the mess of wood chips that he had made. Instead he slapped a painted piece of wood over the most apparent side as to hide the damage he had done. At least I had a new dishwasher that worked right? That is only partially correct. Even though the technician hacked away at the counters to open up space for the dishwasher, it still interferes with the hinges on the dishwasher making it difficult to open and close. Today I was welcome with another unpleasant surprise. The dishwasher has now fallen off its mounting brackets into the counters rendering it useless until someone comes out to "fix it" again.
