Update 6/10/25 - Addressing lies by An L's response. An...please stop lying. The need for repairs came about after the bank inspection. They wouldn't provide financing until Heritage (did what they should have long ago) fixed deficiencies in 3 separate structures. Only then was it an "emergency" according to Heritage Properties. I was called with 30 days to the day of the end of the month. The regional admitted that work had already began on one of the 3 building you neglected just a week after the call! Let me read the tea leaves for you...Heritage knew well before they called telling me to vacate in 30 days. Why did Heritage do this? To pigeon hole residents into taking whatever was offered out of fear of NOT HAVING A PLACE TO LIVE. Heritage's offer was to move people and not compensate residents for any of the fees related to transferring services, taking time off work, and the distress of Heritage's wreckless practices! The other offer, Heritage would be so kind as to let us leave and vacate the lease you already broke! That's crooked, period! The other lie is that it' was an "emergency" and I had to move out before repairs could begin. So riddle me this, why did the foundation construction occur while I'm still in the unit? Surely you know how to read what the regional manager said in the email. The email came after I rejected your slum lord tactics and bought a house. I told the regional (Courtney) face to face that I'd bought a house that wasn't finished being built. She agreed to see if construction could be delayed. That screenshot was her response. Construction would be postponed until move out...pictures prove, THAT WAS ALSO A LIE! Some weeks I work from home calling customers and conducting virtual meetings. Have you ever tried to conduct a meeting with jack hammering underneath your feet? IT'S IMPOSSIBLE! Don't sacrifice your soul to lie for deceitful practices! Tell me this also, if I had to move out for construction to occur (because it was dangerous according to Heritage) then why is construction occurring?! That's what you can't lie about! Communicate openly? The construction "couldn't be postponed" only because Heritage wanted as little disruption as possible. So they strong armed everyone out of 3 buildings under threat that they'd be homeless! Heritage lied from move-in to your response. Heritage is the moral rot happening in every community they preside over as overlords of dwellings. It's no surprise you're buying up multiple properties in a community just so you can drive prices higher! Moral rot and unethical! Keep your painted tubs, dirty ceilings, bug infested units, shoddy repairs, shoddy 3rd party work selections, and your lies for the unfortunate suckers who just blindly believe you like sheep! read more

It has been awhile since my last review on the Bridge across The Water ( Bridgewater) Yes, I have chose to live in this community for over 6 years. With that being said, it means that I have therefore chose to deal with the unwanted critters, the slanted faux flooring, the shifting & cracking walls, uneven doors, etc. Most importantly the guarantees and promises from management (upper & lower) regarding things being fixed or changed but months later, all things have been dismissed. The one thing that apartment communities have always done is manipulate money from their residents- for various reasons- various ways. Bridgewater can owe their resident money that should have been taken care of 6 months prior but never make it an obligation. When Bridgewater calculates you owe them less than $200 from an oversight- the manager will threaten to start eviction proceeding- ASAP. Is this legal? read more

I was looking on the website for a 1 bedroom apartment. I was very impressed with Bridgewater Apartment Homes. I emailed them requesting for a tour. Cher immediately reached out to me. When I entered the office Cher greeted me with a friendly smile. She gave me a detailed tour of the apartment community. She was very helpful in giving me information concerning the apartment. Phil and Cher are the best!!! They are both very kind. I. can proudly say I am a resident of Bridgewater Apartment Community. The atmosphere is very peaceful, the landscaping is beautiful. read more

The worst apartment complex in the area. It's infested with bugs and building 12 floors every time it rains. The apartment manager is dismissive and will not address your complaints. I went to her with multiple complaints before finally breaking my lease. I paid all the money to break the lease before it was due and still got treated like shit! They're charging me $778 for DUST that was in the dirty ass apartment before I got there. The appliances are falling apart. read more

I recommend this place for sure, the amenities, the pool, and complex is so serene and peaceful! I have lived at Bridgewater since 2018 and had/have various issues. I enjoy the neighborhood, the school district and most of all my child has not objected to her surroundings. I have dealt with numerous circumstances that made me second guess my decision to reside in this apartment community. The rental price of the apartments is expensive but the tenants wouldn't complain if the apartments themselves were worthy of the monthly rental. Everyone works hard for their finances so for that hard earned money to go toward a boat with a hole in it and every month your money is only patching that hole and water's still trickling in, is belittling and asinine. I am an individual who wants to always see a glimpse of light at the end of a VERY LONG TUNNEL. That glimpse of light is one reason I have stayed at Bridgewater for 5 years. I wanted desperately for things to improve drastically and not to be a NEGATIVE NANCY of sorts. Well....we all know there is a breaking point for everything and everyone. Individuals should get tired of taking....taking....taking...taking and never GIVING. How do they live?...What would they tolerate?....What would they do if faced with even a couple of their tenant issues/problems?.... read more

Not recommended, poor maintenance service, nothing gets done, hallways dirty, doggie dodo al over , apartments are very small and dark,

I have lived in some pretty bad places, but Bridgewater Apts. in Brandon, MS is the absolute worst. Allowing dogs to live in the apartments was a completely idiotic idea. I have one living upstairs from me and he/she runs all the time. It is not a big dog but as shoddily built as these apartments are, the sound is amplified and sounds like a horse running around. In addition, the people (hoodlums) living there hit the floor as hard as they can with every step. Imaging having a low-pitched, high-volume rumbling noise overhead all the time. I have complained many times to the so-called management and they lack the guts to do anything about the problems. They must have went to the same school as mal-wart - get the money above all else. When I do complain, the people upstairs only get worse. I would not suggest or recommend anybody living in these apartments. Like I said, this is the absolute worst place I have ever lived and management refuses to do anything about the problems. I wish I could give them zero stars on this page. Stay away from Bridgwater Apts. I am moving out as soon as I can find somewhere else. 3/23/14 - Update I am finally getting around to moving out of this place. I have complained incessantly about the noise from upstairs and it has done absolutely no good. In fact, it has only made things worse. The security officer has made many visits to try to make them be quiet. I have done everything short of calling the law out and having them arrested for disturbing the peace. Management of Bridgewater could not care any less about it. All they want is the money. Again, I would recommend staying extremely far away from this place!!! read more

This apartment complex is way overpriced. Whenever you come to tour it, they show you a model apartment which is perfect and well maintained. The actual units are not nearly as good quality though. There are many imperfections which make the apartment not worth the money that it costs to rent. The management is very rude and couldn't care less about any problems that you have. There are constant noises from outside including workers, landscapers, and other tenants. The floors and walls are thin enough to be able to hear other people in units connected to yours. Their gym is very basic and does not have much equipment. The cable internet that is included with the rent is normally slow, since you have to share the connection with everybody else in your building. The repairs that are requested are usually quick fixes and not a permanent solution to the problem. They try to portray an image of a nicer, more high class apartment complex, but it is just over priced and not worth the money. There are many other apartments that are the same quality or better at a cheaper rent. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone. read more

Jan was amazing through my tour, I was sad to hear I couldn't move in as soon as I would like, they are doing amazing things at their complex. I've learned that Heritage is the way to go though. read more
