We live in Sun City and look forward to our couples Bowen Therapy sessions every two weeks. I've noticed that Bowen Therapy is helping with my sleep, and I believe it's helping with my anxiety. We both find the sessions deeply relaxing--sometimes we joke that we've been snoring! Tom is a Vietnam veteran, and helicopter sounds used to frighten him. During a Bowen session, he heard loud helicopters overhead and realized they weren't bothering him. He says that has continued since then. On a recent flight home, he also noticed that he didn't experience his usual nervousness or fear. There has also been an improvement in ankle flexibility. An ankle that had been stiff, with metal hardware from surgery, now feels much more flexible. Cindy explained that Bowen can work with the surrounding tissues above and below an area affected by surgery to help improve comfort and movement. Once you step inside the office building, instantly you'll feel your cares start to melt away. Tea and coffee are offered at your leisure. The lobby is very peaceful, featuring a mini water fountain, soft lighting, and comfy chairs to sit on. The wait feels like hardly at all before Michelle is there to sweep you off to the spa room. I love the way Michelle has her room decorated. The wall decorations, colors and lighting all give a great ambience that helps me to relax as soon as I lay down on the massage table for treatment.
