Based on our conversation it's clear that they both care immensely about their clientele - retained or not. The simple fact that they reached out personally to understand the situation demonstrates their commitment to customer satisfaction. While there was a missed opportunity in the past, I will absolutely consider them for future projects down the line. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We had a tree severely damage our house and needed extensive repairs. While doing the necessary repairs to the home through insurance we also decided to take the opportunity to remodel our kitchen and dining room areas out of pocket. Magnolia was one of the contractors we brought in for a price quote. The contractor who came out was extremely condescending and belittling - assuming that my wife and I could not afford the cost of the project. On multiple occasions the contractor made unnecessary comments related to the anticipated costs of the remodel - alluding to our assumed inability to afford the scope of the work. Needless to say we took our business elsewhere and couldn't be happier with the outcome of the work done. There are plenty of contractors in the market that will deliver a high quality product without thumbing their nose at you or assuming that they're too good for any job. If you want a company that acts like they're elite but only deliver the same outcome as anyone else - look no further - this is a great choice for you. However, I'd suggest you avoid the holier than thou attitude and find someone who will not only get the job done, but also treat you right.

I worked with many people named Chris but a huge shout out to Chris who was the project manager that really did wonders making sure the job ran smoothly and made sure I was satisfied with the outcome! Vic also made it a point to come by several times to make sure things got done which was nice to see the owner of a huge company making time for his clients. They keep our residence looking beautiful and safe and I'm so glad to have their services. I'm writing this review after a specific event: my boyfriend lost his wallet after it was left on top of a car roof somewhere in the street. We didn't realize what had happened until after a snow storm and by then we had no hope of finding it. We were resigned to beginning the process of replacing all of his documents and cancelling his accounts, but the next day we received a call from the Doyle Brothers contractors saying they'd found the wallet! What's more, they went out of their way to have someone bring it to our address and return it by hand. The man who returned it and refused any monetary reward exemplifies what everyone is looking for in a landscaping and construction company: integrity while going above and beyond. I cannot rave enough about such a fantastic representation of their services and strongly recommend the beautiful and efficient work they provide.

I had a slate roof that, despite many years of trying, was in poor shape. I am selling my house…read moreand had to figure out what to do. Scott's was the only firm that just said, rip it off and put on a new one with GAF roofing. He said that he in good faith could not recommend replacing the tiles, about 50 of them, because he was not sure if it would be fully repaired. Other roofers said they would replace the 50 tiles. When I asked if he'd guarantee that replacing the slates would work, they hedged and one implied that since I was moving, it only had to work for a brief time. Ignoring that, I decided to use Scott's to replace the roof. And their prices were highly competitive. Unlike other roofers, they complete each piece of the roof that they are doing that day, and do not use tarps. They said they don't use subcontractors, and Scott's son was the foreman of the crew. They arrived on time and cleaned as they went. Under the slate roof was a cedar shingle roof. It turns out that one portion of the roof did not have cedar underneath, so they just had to remove the slate. They refunded the difference in the price. The window sills on the third floor were rotted on one side of the house, but not on the other, so only half of them had to be replaced. There is no way I would know any of this. I wouldn't know if there were shingles where and which window sills were rotted. The fact that they handled these issues they way they did shows their inherent honesty in their business processes. I now have a beautiful, GAF covered roof. I only wish I had done it years ago. I cannot recommend this firm highly enough. They are one of the best, if not the best vendor, I have ever used.
