So good!!! Never been to a fancy Thai restaurant so this was a treat!i got the red chicken curry with a side of rice noodles (there's also steamed rice or sticky rice) and I just poured it right in. The curry was delicious probably one of the best I ever had and it was full of chicken, bamboo shoots and all kinds of veggies! I almost drank all of the curry sauce in the end. Awesome place!

The food is pretty good. We had the shrimp pad thai, the red curry chicken as well as the shrimp & eggplant. Everything tasted great, but it couldve been much spicier (especially for a thai restaurant). Their dish are around 18-20$ each and the portions aren't very big. I wasn't very full at the end but I was satisfied. As for the service, it was ok, nothing impressive. The food didn't take a very long time to be served and the waiter filled our water several times without asking. The place is small so make sure you reserve before going!

A very unpleasant, disappointing experience. To start off, there was a long wait time for the food to be served. On top of that, the chicken wings are not fully cooked(see picture). Then there's the quality of the food, I'm sorry, I'm no Gordon Ramsay, but it taste worse than fast food. The crispy shrimp rolls has some weird oil taste, it taste like they haven't change the fried oil for a long time. Then there is the pad Thai, not sure if it's overcooked or what, but a good authentic pad thai shouldn't be that wet, the noodle is way too soft. For the price, the quality does not justify it.

The noodle that makes me regret!

It took a while for them to notice us and give us the menu at the beginning, but the service for food was rapid. They have large portions, we were two and ordered two starters and one main, and we barely finished them. We ordered Thai chicken wings and papaya salad which were pretty good, but unfortunately I ordered crispy fried noodle instead of pad Thai due to the misunderstanding of the menu, which only had some weird noodles and vegetables simply stir fried, not very tasty and special, and it's more expensive than pad Thai ! The ambience was cozy and graceful, prices are higher than other Thai cuisine, but I think it's worth it, at least for the wings and salad.

Did not work for me. General for Thai this is expensive. OK they do have white table clothe and is located in a nice historical old house but that's about all the pros they are getting from me. We went for lunch. Very nice service but slow, very slow. Took a long time to get our food. I guess us from NYC we are spoiled when it comes to more authentic Thai food ...???... This restaurant is in quality and authenticity not even close to quality Thai. Hugs

Favourite Thai in Montreal. We always order the Beef Penang Curry and Green Thai Curry with Sticky Rice. Food is always good here but the last time we went, it was exceptionally great. Forced me to update this review to a five star!! Will definitely recommend this spot for authentic Thai!!

Finally, a good Thai restaurant in Montreal! It's a bit pricey compared to other places but their food is actually amazing. My favourite is their spicy eggplant curry - must try! Great service as well. We didn't have a reservation and had called just 10 minutes before they closed. The lady was really nice and saved a table for us, as we were just a few minutes of walk away. Definitely, going back!

Ever since I moved here, I've been looking for Thai restaurants. Coming from Toronto, my bar was pretty high (as there's a bunch of good ones out there). Overall the food was pretty good. The panang curry, chicken with basil and chicken with eggplant all were delicious and had a nice spicy kick to them. The crispy noodles were not as flavourful, especially in comparison to the other food. The portions are good too, as the 4 dishes were more than enough for 4 people.

This is a pleasant and unassuming restaurant that dares to stray away from the usual Thai menu and offer some unique dishes. The service is warm and kind, and if you engage them, eager to talk in detail about their food. Po Taek soup is a classic Thai seafood dish, and this was executed to perfection. The flavours were perfectly balanced, which can be hard to come by with this particular dish. The seafood was also quite generous in serving size and excellent in quality. We're huge fans of duck, and we'd never seen Larp Ped (Duck Lemongrass Salad) on a menu before. This lemongrass duck salad was a revelation, with a flavour profile that changed as you enjoyed the dish The Kung Prik Sod, a chili shrimp dish, was inevitable as the soup made it clear that the quality of the shrimp was fantastic, large, firm and sweet. Kob Phad Kha Poa caught our eye immediately; we've never seen frog's legs on a Thai menu, and served with "crispy basil"? We had to try it, and thank God we did! We love frog's legs, and these were the best we've ever had. Plump, meaty, juicy and flavour infused. Most notably however, was the crispy basil. These beautiful large basil leaves were carefully flash fried. We were so astounded at the texture and flavour we had to ask the server about them. He explained that they are carefully fried on a pan in a single layer, for no more than thirty seconds. Not only was it a trip to eat crispy basil, but the heat released the flavours normally locked in the leave's natural oil, making the taste unforgettable. Google our username to find our food blog :

Food: The taste was so-so, yes thai may be a little more oily than some other cuisine but this was way too oily and some items were on the salty side. The food was average, nothing impressive. Service: Very attentive, and fast Value: Overpriced thai food, paying more for the fancy decor than the food. Ambiance: Quiet, very quiet, almost too quiet~ At least for us, but I guess it can be appealing for a business lunch.

Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right on the street in downtown is this gem. It's got a small footprint on the outside, but inside is a different story! It's so beautiful and intimate in here. The floors and the ceilings are darker colors giving a more intimate vibe. The decor is AMAZING and transports you to an entirely different country. The vibes were very intimate, romantic and definitely a place you want to be. Service: Glenn was my bartender as I sat at the bar and he was awesome. He was funny, witty and made sure I had the best time possible. I also would like to shout out Benjamin as well. He's the director of the restaurant and also made sure I had a good time. Food/Drinks: I started off with the Le Vieux Cajou, which is Buffalo Trace whiskey infused with cashews, spicy coriander syrup then a few dashes of both Angostura and chocolate bitter. This drink sounds so out there, but it was so smooth, oaky, a bit nutty, mildly sweet, very tasty, robust, woody. I really liked it. I saw so many things on the menu that I wanted to try that I couldn't make up my mind so I opted for the tasting menu! Here's how it went! Out first was the Fried papaya salad which consists of deep-fried green papaya and carrots, fried shrimp, fresh chilies, tomatoes, long beans and peanuts. This was very tasty with that good spicy sauce on top. I loved the sweetness with the salt and the heaviness of the fried batter. Absolutely delicious. Never had anything like it before. My only complaint is that the shrimp didn't pull all the way out of their shells like I'm used to. Lol. Next up was the Khao Soi which is a dish comprised of egg noodles, chicken drumsticks, a quail egg, pickled choy, limes, coriander, red onions and khao soy sauce. This dish was a bit spicy, with flavors just all over the place in a great way. LOVED the rich curry flavor, super aromatic. Lastly was the Set Tum Thai which is That BBQ pork shoulder served with sticky rice and a papaya salad. It was SUPER flavorful pork and an amazing spicy sauce. Rice was nice and sticky to calm the flavors down. Well-balanced. Value: It's more upscale and "modern" Thai cusine so you have to pay for it. Lol. All prices are in $CAD. My first drink was $14.00. The tasting menu was $85.00. Absolutely worth it. In conclusion, I loved this place, what it represented and how everything was executed. I highly encourage you to check this place out! Thank you for reading.

The servers seemed busy but it took a while for every step of the way so I think they could use a bit more help. The other thing that was a bit unfortunant was the amount of fruit flies that were around. One or two isnt an issue but we were having to swipe away one pretty consistantly. That being said, the food itself was pretty decent overall. Ill go over the so-so stuff first. We were trying to get the vegiterian papaya salad but apparently there is fish sauce in it that cant be removed so I am not sure why they label it as vegiterian optional. (Thats a bit of a pet peeve of mine since people probably dont even ask if it is labeled as vegiterian). The phad thai was decent with strechy noodles and fried tofu which is something we look for but the peanuts were all clumpped together as if they had been stored for a while. Not nessasarily a bad thing but califlour was also one of the vegtables which is an interesting choice. On the good end, the bak egg roles were crisp and had good flavores especially when adding the sauce. They gave us the chicken one on accident at first but figured out their mistake before we had any. The drink was also very refreshing. The egg wash was smooth and sweet which complimented the tart and fruity drink. The atmosphere itself was interesting. The long marbel X shaped table that centered the room was something I hadnt seen anywhere else. It seemed a bit akward at first but the lights and bar made it work more. The lamps seemed like a nice touch that added depth and a warm lighting to the room. I always like when lights are hung together at a different hights to give that depth. Overall probably not one I would go back to.

It had a welcoming feel and a great cooking smell upon entry. I was seated promptly at a table near the front windows. The water had a metallic taste but was better with a squeeze of lime. After some debate and a few questions to my server Luig, I decided upon the vegan Pad Thai. While waiting for my meal I noticed a group being seated an explained the menu. Soon after my meal arrived well presented and served with thicker than average chopsticks which were easier to use than some. Interestingly, they eat pad thai with a fork in Thailand, so that was a bit of a faux pas in my opinion. The portion was reasonable, but not large by any stretch. The plate contained al dente broccoli and cauliflower, rectangle shaped fried tofu chunks, crushed peanuts, bean sprouts, green onions and semi-wide noodles with good chew. Notably the dish was not too spicy which seems to be what proper Pad Thai should be. Also notable was the reasonable (for these crazy times) $14 menu price for my sit down meal. Nice to see there are Thai restaurants that give options for more authenticity than the quick serve ones.

I would say that the best was the Chicken Pad Thai and the salad then the vegetable curry and then the Beef Basil. The Pad Thai had a great flavour of the wok and was respectfully generous with chicken. The Veg Curry nada good assortment of vegetables. A small (and little disappointing) portion of rice was given. The Beef Basil was the least because I'm use to a very fragrant version of the dish This was good, but I've had better at other Thai places.
