The space that was the casino has been transformed into an arcade/games/ attraction oasis. We made our way to a kiosk to purchase a reusable/reloadable game card so the kids could enjoy a variety of attractions and then we were off! Lucky Snake has an impressive variety of games and attractions suitable for toddlers (though limited for them) up to full grown adults. They also have a roller rink with skate rentals for an additional fee, and a massive water park (it was closed during our late night visit). There was a racing track, mini golf, billiards area, and a massive amount of traditional arcade games, too numerous to name, but I saw skeet ball, traditional pinball machines, basketball/football games, claw machines, and two-person challenge games to name a few. The game card I purchased was for $50 and more than covered their time here. Lucky Snack still has the hotel with folks lined up to check in/out. There wee also places to eat along with rows of snack vending machines, and the bar, still standing from the Showboat days, eagerly awaiting the adult that needed a break from the overstimulation of hundreds of arcade machines and kids in the background ‍. All in all, a great place for families to take their kids, especially on a hot, sunny day to duck the heat and humidity (especially the water park option) and for a wonderful change of pace from the usual boardwalk activities.

The only downside was that some of the arcade machines like the basketball games and a bunch of others weren't working properly & ended up taking my money. That was def frustrating. This is great for a lunch because they have stuff for salads and cold cuts, soups, a few hot dishes, and desserts so nothing super exciting but nice for a meal. The best part is the ambiance. If you get a table by the windows, you can have a nice view out to the ocean/boardwalk. If you sit more inside, there's a nice fireplace and comfy couches if you just need a place to relax for a bit. It wasn't crowded when I came and I expect it doesn't get super crowded since it's just for people with a certain casino status so it's great to go to to hang out between gambling. I think it's very similar to the one in Bally's, so I can't say I had a preference and only came here since Bally's one wasn't open yet. I look forward to the time I can come back and visit.
