The other half has to go to work around 1 or 2 am every morning and we just had a healthy batch of snow. He slid off the highway at the 295 entrance going south from Brunswick. No injuries.. Just pretend a Chevy 1500 being an oversized sled and gliding through 16 inches of light fluff. Since he had to be at work, I was called in to trade vehicles and get the truck out (husband of the year nom would be appreciated btw!). My roadside service couldn't get anyone at that time of morning. So I called Brunswick PD who then got the Highway Patrol over to help. The managed to get Atlantic Coast out to help pull the truck back onto the road. I had no money.. Zero.. Because it's days before xmas! My insurance stated they would pay for the service so they pulled it out, let me go on my way, and all would be addressed during business hours. My insurance called them to pay the bill ($175), but the dispatcher lady refused to provide their tax id number that proves they are a legit business. She then told the adjuster that they'd be calling the cops on me for refusal to pay. Yeah.. Insurance literally waving the money at them and the lady refused. So, the adjuster told me that they'd just pay me, so that I could just pay directly. The payment took a few days to hit my account. I called them up to let them know that it was coming, but hasn't arrived because banking tech is still ancient. She continued to say that is fine, but she didn't want to have to call the police on me. Again, threatening police being called in.. Even though I've stated it's coming.. And she refused to go the easy route with being paid directly! Today I saw the money hit my account and I called to make the payment. A guy answered (who I assume is the owner) and was beyond nice. He wished a happy holidays and repeatedly thanked me for making the payment. I always pay my bills and was thankful for the service so early in the morning, but that lady just ruined what could have been a great experience. I get that they probably get people that stiff them, but she shouldn't assume that of everyone.

Than my sons cross member n leaf spring mount snapped and he went off the rd...so when the cops showed up I told them I dont want them towing the vehicle out I had my own company/ tow coming.... they honked at me to move ...they hooked the tow truck to the bumper and kept in park and towed outta the ditch ..in 4 wheel drive..... Called the company .....the owner / dispatch lady is very rude.... the owner just tried to start a fight, melaciousously attack my daughter in law , at new meadows market ....

He is prompt, professional and an all around nice guy. Compare that to the last towing company we used out of Brunswick who charged us a ridiculously high price to tow a car and then told us it needed $500.00 worth of work. Very bad experiance. My car was towed by this garage's towing service. Openly admit that I wasnt…read morebeing easy to deal with when they told me it was cash only to get my car out of impound in person, but not when I called them asking about the car in the first place. After getting in my face and making statements such as "if I were 10 years younger you wouldn't be talking right now" and "don't f**k with me I'm in a bad mood today" the owner of the company accompanied me to check my car for damage. We were met out back by two other employees who were there as enforcers. I pointed out damage I thought they had caused to my vehicle, and they accused me of trying to get a freebie. When I went to leave, the owner of the store stepped between me and my car and closed the door to my vehicile preventing me from leaving. He said, "don't be a smartass, I have two people here who saw you take a swing at me, and there is noone around to help you". I did not take a swing at him, or make any threats, I was honestly just trying to leave when the owner of the store treatened to physically harm me under the false cover of his employees. Stay away from this garage, the owner is insane and the employees are mobsters. F rating overall experiance.

As usual, here in Maine another predatory towing company that doesn't know the law of the state…read morethey operate in. when asked to proper Paper work per the Maine state law the owner starts immediately yelling swearing and threatening to steal the car. that rite there shows how primitive And uneducated about his own business he is. I didnt have a choice dealing with these money grabbing predators but my advice is if you do have a choice don't and if you have been towed there or have had a friends car towed there check the law about what they can and can't charge if they don't follow the proper procedures. Those laws are in place to protect people from predatory businesses like JD towing.
