The only thing for us was that the store is three stories high and my Nana can't climb stairs well so she couldn't look at everything that was in stock. Evan the upholsterer and his team are amazing. The antique chairs look great with their new covers and thicker seats. He didn't have the item, but it's not easy to find and my expectations on that were very low. A friendly customer who Bob was helping before me overheard and they both offered me great advice for continuing the hunt for my treasure. I had a look around the shop, and found a beautiful (fragile) trinket I decided to purchase. Bob took extra special care in wrapping my item to make sure it would get home in one piece. It was clear he cared, even though my purchase only cost $5. (A steal). When I went out to my car, Bob had followed to take down the "open" flag and saw that I had my dog with me. He called out "next time you come please bring your dog in with you!" And that just made my day. Customer service is everything, and this place is as good as is gets. I am putting this on my "must visit" list for my future returns to coastal Maine.

We stopped here at 8:30 a.m. on a Sunday morning before driving back to Providence, and had a very nourishing breakfast. The coffee was strong and good, from Rock City Coffee Roasters, and I ordered a hot chocolate that tasted nice (much better than DD hot cocoa). We shared an everything bagel with tomato/mozzarella/basil, and deviled eggs (which were fresh made). The staff were three very nice young ladies, whose tip jar said "College Fund". I wouldn't have expected a little hut to offer such a hearty breakfast, and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the shade, eating while our baby napped in her car seat. My only suggestion for improvement would be a little more seasoning on the food, but having a handmade breakfast early on Sunday was priceless for our ride home!
