So we decided to try dessert since we had NO luck with 2 restaurants in the area. We got a frozen wine and frozen Butterbeer! They were the highlight of our afternoon! Yummy and delicious.

This is the crowd that was present while I was there and Unfortunately that is the employee that serviced me. I won't be back.

The pros: Our tour guide/bus driver, Don, was excellent. He seriously made the whole trip. He was so kind and helpful and fun loving, he was a great match for our group. The wine tour was excellent we had an extensive tour of the grounds and they make their wine. It was the best tour we got the whole trip. The brewery had corn hole which made a great activity as our day was winding down. The pub lunch was great and had choices for everyone. Cons: Definitely overpriced for "tasting tours" when out of the three places when we only got one real "tour". Pretty disappointed and we all wished we got actual tours of the distillery and brewery since that is what we paid for. We didn't get to stay at the winery very long or hang out before we had to leave-- we thought this was the best location out of all three.

We were able to take the train from Center City to Doylestown. At Doylestown, their driver - Linda (actually the founder) was there to greet us. Leading up to the planning of this event, we worked with Linda and had a very good experience. She knew the area, suggested eateries and talked about the country side. All this just added what I call "free extras" to the already low price. Plus there are shopping baskets, bottles of water, and storage cases for new wine while on your journey. This is a well thought out operation. We had a group of 5. Our biggest concern is who we would sit with on the bus; however, after the first stop everyone was loosened up (the first stop allows you to pour or own samples!) and the conversations just started rolling out. We had a great time and thanks to Linda for making it work out.

The two ladies were very friendly and knowledgeable. I learned that just started a wine club so I may be purchasing that soon as well. As for the tastings, they gave great portions of wine. We were allowed to pick 6 wines we wanted to try. They have a great variety of sweet, dry and semi sweet. My favorite of all time is the apple cider. My new favorite is a mulled cinnamon brew. The serve the cinnamon brew warm which was great. I also enjoyed the Cabernet. They have great wines. The ambiance was very quaint and aesthetically pleasing. It is a small tasting room with very nice unique decorations. I 100% recommend if you are in the Lambertville, NJ area.

They had a wine tasting and food pairing menu. I ordered six different flavors from dry to sweet. I ended up loving some of the other flavors and buying them as gifts. They even had a live singer performing, which added a great vibe to the visit. We shared a pizza while doing our tasting, and it paired nicely with the wines. The wines were good overall, though not quite enough for us to buy a bottle. One of the wines seemed like it was starting to turn, but the rest were enjoyable. Despite that, we still had a lovely time. It's a cute stop if you're passing through and want to unwind with some music, food, and a laidback winery experience.

I made table reservations online for $20 (you get to choose a 3 hour block of time) -- and while it probably wasn't necessary the day we went, if the weather is warmer on a weekend, I'm guessing you'll need it! Minimal food available for purchase, but you can do tastings, flights, wine by the glass or bottles and are allowed to bring outside food and decorations (just not outside alcohol). Price point is reasonable, and we enjoyed a bottle of Cayuga white while overlooking the vines and fields. Peaceful venue, not fancy and kid friendly (which was a plus for us) and we appreciated being allowed to relax and enjoy the fresh air and wine! My husband enjoyed the red flight -- and while not the kind of wine that will knock your socks off, it's an unpretentious place and perfect for enjoying with loved ones.
