Excellent pizza - easily rivals or equal to any stuck-up pizza joint in the Twin Cities - 5 stars! What a gem! Main Street Pizza is in the little town of Star Prairie, a short 5 minute drive north of Highway 64 and New Richmond. It's an unassuming little place that looks like it used to be a family home at some point in the past. The shop is family owned & operated - laid back, casual, no frills - it's all about the pizza. They have soda in cans and beer in bottles. You can grab some ice cream too. I tried 4 different pies: Pickle, Mediterranean, Big Deluxe, Sausage Pepperoni. They were all fantastic! I'd come here any time instead of an uber expensive place in the cities like Young Joni. (It's also a LOT cheaper.) I have to comment on the cheese. It's incredible. I don't think I've experienced this type of cheese - ever - at any pizza shop in Minnesota. And some of the pies have more than one variety of cheese. Wow! I guess I should expect excellent dairy in Wisconsin. I tried the Way Gouda Bites too, macaroni nuggets filled with gouda cheese. Despite being a snowy winter day, I topped things off with some frozen Churro Custard. BTW, the customer service was great, friendly and attentive. I'd go back again any time. Next time I'll try The Irish, featuring sauerkraut and corned beef - yum! Thumbs up! - Maxx

This place sells not only great pizza , they have subs and ice cream! what keeps me coming back is the homemade sauce. They rock !

My sister lives about 8 miles past Main Street pizza , she thought I was excited to her...it's this pizza , I confess . I Have the Hawaiian pizza every "sister visit" and I've yet to get a mediocre pizza . Service, excellent , produce fresh

Crab Rangoon Pizza

Loaded Baked Potato Pizza is my favorite but the Thanksgiving Pizza is AMAZING! Then for Lent they created this Crab Rangoon Pizza which is equally amazing! Love this place!

The Irish pizza. Corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and onions on Main Street Pizza's one-of-a-kind "Irish sauce."

Little hole in the wall, looks like it was converted into a small restaurant from an older home. Excellent calzone's.

Pizza was very good but lacked ICE for drinks. Five stars for food to go but two for no ice eating in. Don't like warm drinks.

Sawmill Pizza And Brew Shed - Pep fest pizza - tomato sauce, pepperoni and co-jack cheese

We were visiting the area and stopped in at The Sawmill after a friend recommended the pizza. They…read moreare only open on Sunday afternoons to the public. The rest of the week is reset for private events. First, the venue is the perfect place to sit outside and enjoy the large property when the weather is nice. There are a couple of buildings with outdoor seating as well as indoor space for events. There is a large flat screen TV by the bar inside the main building if you would like to sit and enjoy a game, etc. They have outdoor live entertainment which was very nice to sit back and listen to the music. They also had a few yard games which people were enjoying. The website isn't quite up to date as it instructs you to bring your own picnic supplies, non alcoholic beverages, etc. as they just serve beer. However, they do provide paper plates and napkins a well as have a full bar including some wine and non alcoholic beverages for purchase. Sawmill had a set menu of a few thin crust pizza options as well as a handful of seasonal pizzas. No additional pizza toppings allowed but you can ask for a topping to be removed if you don't like it. Our group ordered a Pep Fest which is tomato sauce, pepperoni, co-jack and a Trippin' Balls which is tomato sauce, mushrooms, green peppers, onions, sausage, mozzarella. The pizza was okay. Toppings are limited. The pizzas are cooked in an outdoor wood fired pizza oven so we were expecting more of a crispy thin crust pizza. The pizza dough is not crispy but soft and doughy. Not exactly what we were expecting but the flavor was pretty good. Every employee we encountered was nice and everyone seemed to enjoy working there. It's a nice place to hang out, have a drink and enjoy the outdoors and live entertainment.

5 stars - definitely worth the stop if you're in the area!…read more I really enjoyed my first visit to Sawmill Pizza & Brew Shed. It's out in a rural area, quite a trek west of downtown Clear Lake. But they have plenty of signs directing the way. And "yes", back in the day, it used to be a real working sawmill. I was skeptical when my 2 Wisconsin friends invited me to hang out at Sawmill on a Sunday. Only open 1 day a week on Sundays? Only open from 2:30 to 7:00? Only 4 kinds of pizza? Yes, it's true! But it's great! The property is huge, many acres with tons of parking. They have multiple buildings, outdoor activities, a lake across the street, live music, pizza, beer, and soda. The whole atmosphere is like a super chill county fair - awesome! The custom pizzas are great too. They're all the same size - large. The pizza is neopolitan style & cooked in a brick fired oven. The flavor options are great. They're all, basically, giant gourmet Italian style pies. They can definitely compete with any fancy-dancy pizza joint in the Twin Cities (minus the snobbery). The beer options are excellent. They have a bunch of interesting craft beers on tap in addition to standard options in cans & bottles. Finally, this place is run like a clock. They're extremely well organized. Everyone is super friendly too. That goes for the staff as well as the guests. (No pets or outside alcohol allowed.) For those of you that may be interested, Sawmill does special events too. LOW CARB: It was a little tricky eating low carb, carnivore style at Sawmill. Basically, I picked the pizza with the most meat & the thickest toppings and I scraped all the toppings off the doughy crust. It worked fine. I ate all the toppings and none of the high carb dough. And I saved the crust for the family of noisy crows that visits me every morning. So everyone was happy...me, my buddies, and my feathered friends. A big thumbs up! -Maxx

The chicken app was huge, big enough for a large family. The spaghetti and meatball were good, big tasty meatball that are seasoned very well. The sauce was just ok, like out of a jar but still good. It should accommodate the cravings of anyone you know. Our group had a friendly waitress. While she did make a couple small mistakes (bringing out two pieces of garlic bread for six adults), she was still helpful and nice. For our mid afternoon lunch there was beer and wine available. Sadly, not a full bar at the restaurant. We ordered a deep fried onion (think cactus blossom). It was so large we didn't finish it before our meals arrived. I ordered the half rack of ribs and mashed garlic red potatoes. The ribs were very good. The potatoes would have been good with an ample amount of butter. Sadly, I didn't find any on our table. The large bowls of salad accompanying the meal were also good. Our waitress also saw fit to bring enough dressings to the table to meet our needs. My better half got a chicken parm meal. She thought it was pretty good but said her pasta was watery and was missing some flavor (I thought the reheated leftover was solid). A nice touch was a large strawberry sundae for a member in our group who was celebrating a birthday. He actually was given several choices of his complimentary dessert. A large menu, good service and nice atmosphere. Sounds like enough to get me to try it again in the future!

Unfortunately the only table that would accommodate us was taken so I'm assuming they don't really use the reservations. We weren't really welcomed upon arrival and didn't know how they operate. I could see it was order at the counter and seat yourself, they were obviously swamped and the 3 of them were working their tails off. Their customer service later made up for all of the other mishaps - our waitress was super attentive and nice. The specialty pizzas were delicious, I in particular really enjoyed the pizza crust, unfortunately the kids were kind of disappointed by the pepperoni pizza (I agreed) We also ordered some different apps, fries, dill cheese curds (good but I felt it was a small portion) the wings were good and the Brussels sprouts were probably my favorite item on the menu.
