The floral department makes gorgeous bouquets and the deli, seafood and bakery are all well stocked with fresh items and have friendly staff. They also carry a lot of specialty items like spices or sauces that can be hard to find in other stores. The negatives: It is expensive. I can get almost double the amount of groceries at Aldi or Shop N Save for the LOOOOOONG lines. They have several self check outs that go quicker, but there are usually very few lines actually open for checking out with a cashier. If they had more cashiers available, the rating would be higher.

Cons: sooooo crowded! It's never not crowded, and they never have enough check outs open. The prices over all at Giant Eagle could also be a little better for some items like vegetarian / vegan speciality items which are cheaper at Aldis. During peak times there are always large lines and not enough staff. Tips: go here after 7pm to beat some of the crowds, it's open 24/7, if you are shopping for a holiday (on or near a holiday) be prepared for a very crowded store.

It is fairly well organized and easy to find what you are looking for. Unless what you are looking for is a sales associate. If you have a question or need something, you are likely going to have to go to the front counter in order to find someone who can answer your question. I will say if you plan to use curbside, that never seems to go well with this location. They either tell you they are too busy for curbside and you have to come in and pick it up, there is a really long wait for curbside or you just get no reply at all. I'd rather them not offer curbside than have such incredibly inconsistent service and basically need to go into the store anyway. They also seem to take forever checking people out. I think a lot of this has to do with people searching for a coupon (don't ever buy something here without a coupon or sale price, they are always out there). But if there are a few people in line, it can really add up.

If it is not, you would return said item in *original condition*, *unused*, within less than 24 hours. That is an extremely rigid policy when you're in the store at 3 pm wanting to purchase the item and if a return is needed you will return it as soon as the store opens the next day. Far less than 24 hours. No exceptions are made to their policy which they say they put in place because people wear things then return them. Understandable. I agree. But this was a communion veil on a Friday afternoon. No church is celebrating First Communions on a Friday night or first thing Saturday morning. Yet they were unwavering in their policy. Very disappointing.

They offer different types of accessories to make the lifetime of your candle last longer. You can of course smell the scents to see what you'd like. Large jar candles can be expensive but they tend to offer sales which make them more affordable. While I was shopping for Black Friday they were offering their "sparkly" candles for $5.00 which was a $10.00 savings. I purchased 5 of them for stocking stuffer gifts and this purchase entitled me to a clutch for $15.00 that included a candle, a scent for your car and a couple of other things. That helped me scratch someone else off my list. Staff is very friendly and eager to help you. I normally purchase an open air lid which you can use on just about any large or midsize candle to allow the wax to evenly distribute while you are burning your candle. They teach you the best way to trim your wick and give you other recommendations for enjoying the scent you have purchased. One of the best things is that once you purchase a candle from them it will last for a long time before the jar is completely consumed. Some of their current scents are named after the Sound of Music movie but it is still worthwhile to pay a visit and see what's new.
