Donuts are great but Chris and Kellie use to really flirt w/my husband all the time. Service is good too. Ambiance could use work. Inside could be nicer. Clean though. Small inside. Parking is awful. I just wish they didn't flirt w/my husband like they did. They were VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Chris definitely has a "type." Other than that everything is good. They are hard working people. The cheesy-sausage biscuit was like a big Red Lobster biscuit stuffed with sausage. It was seriously good. The sausage was mixed in the batter so it wasn't overwhelming. They also had them with jalapeños but I thought I should show restraint. I got the Pine Cone with chocolate icing. It was very good but oh so sweet. Too sweet for me. The clerk was extremely nice and answered all my questions. I also heard her talking to another man who was ordering 8 doughnuts and she asked him if he wanted to round up to a dozen. I have driven past Main Street Donuts a hundred times but it was always after hours and since I don't live nearby, I rarely think to go there in the mornings. This morning I woke up wanting a donut and got in my car and finally drove over there. The first thing I noticed was the place was crawling with cops, it's like they are living up to the stereotype. I thought this was funny but when I thought about it, none of the other shops I've been to in Norman are like that so maybe it's a sign that this is a legit place. Kind of like when you see a greasy spoon diner on the side of the highway and see a bunch of Big Mac trucks parked outside, you know the food is good. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a really pretty younger woman and she jumped up to assist me. I told her that I'd never been there before so she was patient while she explained what was in the case, some of the items I'd never seen before (ex. A blueberry old fashioned that was the prettiest shade of violet). I really only wanted one donut but they had so many to choose from so I walked out with three and they even gave me some free donut holes to try - PS. They were delicious! read more

Love their doughnuts, their normal doughnuts are not that heavy like a cake doughnut (although they do have cake doughnuts), but not too light that you feel like you are eating air. It is a perfect balance, I also highly recommend their sausage rolls. read more

She goes out of her way to make sure they are exactly what you want. My kids are 6,4, and 2 so can be crazy and they r so sweet -welcome them and always make them feel special every time we come in. I live in south Oklahoma City and I travel to this donut shop in Norman. I've been to other donuts shops and tried the basic glazed donut but it's all too sweet to my taste bud. When my mother in law and other in laws came for my wedding I was afraid they wouldn't like American style donuts but they ate the whole three boxes! My personal favorite is the maple glazed donut, the mini cinnamon roll donut, and the blueberry donut. It's not too overly sweet like Krispy Kreme or other places. The other thing I like about this place is the owner who is there. This is a family fun business with the husband making the donut while the wife comes during business hours to sell it. When I come here by noon almost all of the donuts are sold out. If you want a specific donut you can order ahead too. Another thing I really enjoy here is the cleanliness. I feel I could eat their croissant sandwich (various ones with ham, turkey, and sausage available). There is about couple of parking spot available. It's located across the street from the Norman high school where the old labaguette used to be at. come here and you won't regret it!!!love this place and I alwAys come here for my donut craze! read more

Great, friendly service. Donuts were definitely home made and delicious. My son is allergic to peanuts and I wanted to get a coconut topped donut that had been sitting close to one that had peanuts. I told the young lady I could not get it because of my son's allergies. She told me that she would make a new one that had not been close to peanuts. She made me a coconut topped chocolate glaze just like that. I lived in Norman from 1980-1993 but still have family there so visit often.
