It was really bad experience, would never come back again to celebrate birthday party for kids there. We booked lazer tag, gravity ropes. They booked us 2 hrs. Sound like fear. But by the table, Everything was rushed. They brought us pizza right away. Then in few min. after finishing, they asked us to cut the cake. So I didn't finished cutting yet, host asked us to go 5 min. early for lazer tag! I spent hrous of making a cake, and kids didn't even had time to finish a cake was rushed to lazer tag, manager showed up to ensure we following their schedule, and said did you review details, I trusted for good experience. Never celebrated before. When kids left I had first bite of specialty cake, and manager said, you have to move, another party is coming. Omg! This is insane! you have one hr. for party table! Money grabbing mashine! People paying $400-500 to shovel pizza and cake and send us somewhere to finish! If I new I would be so rushed, never would of planed a party. Instead of joy of celebration, we had total disapointment! games, kids win misery little toys, or nothing, we bought additional gift bag with points, moms still buying extra ticket, as value not there! This location is actually located near my school I had to pick up some items for that day so I decided to take my daughter along with me and she absolutely loves main event this main event is larger and seems to be more well kept but it is a newer location so I guess it doesn't have an excuse to be disorganized and unkept everything is New Bright and shiny when we arrive there wasn't that many patrons it was actually more staff then guests so we weren't able to do the laser tag we probably could have just done it my daughter and I but it wouldn't have been that fun seeing it seemed and I'm in my forties and she's a teen and there's only so much running and huffing and puffing I'm going to be doing So to the arcade games we went I actually had nothing left for my wallet she took it all playing games having fun she still a kid at heart even though she's almost 17 and it was a nice way to kill some time while we were still in the area and I also get out of there because the traffic gets so bad on I-90 they also have awesome deals that they do during the weekend for students when you submit your email you're the one of the first to find out about the promotions and deals that they have and they cannot be beat you can have a whole night or a whole day of play for 18.99which is unlimited when it comes to bowling laser tag and pool that can't be read more

Yikes. The customer service at this place is awful. Not a single employee looked like they enjoyed working here at all, which is a really bad quality to have when you work at an entertainment center. Our first experience was laser tag. The employee working that section started off by asking "so are you guys gunna pick your teams or...?" As if we knew what we were supposed to do. She didn't even teach us anything prior to starting. Then, my gun didn't even work, and when approaching the employee about it, nothing was done to fix the situation. Great first experience. Secondly, we had put our name in for bowling. We were told it would be an hour wait, which was fine. After an hour passed we heard nothing, so we went to the counter to check and they said "oh yeah, your lane is ready." Like okay... thanks for letting us know! So then they place us at a lane that was already taken. So we go back again, and finally get placed at an open lane. While bowling we wanted a drink, so we went to the bar. The service was extremely slow and there were literally zero customers sitting at the bar. Overall this place is really just not worth the money. read more

It's a good, chill atmosphere and very spacious. They nose level was pleasant. You could enjoy a conversation. The service was slow but adequate. The food is terrible. Pizza is all dough with a hint of pizza sauce and cheese. Chuck E. Cheese is an A comparable. Nacho platter was decent size, but very slim on the toppings and a $2 ground beef upgrade in lieu of chicken is a money grab; the ground beef taco seasoning is terrible and the ground beef itself was questionable. The burgers were edible, but they lacked flavor and the patty is nearly 35%smaller than the bun. The bone-in wings were good but the price point for a 6 piece is insane. There is a lot going on here. It's better option than chukee-cheese for a bday party. The food is slightly above average, the employees that we had were very nice. There are a lot of people here, so there may be a wait for some things, just be patient, they are trying. You have bowling, arcades and a bunch of other things that I can't remember. Came for lunch today (10/17/2022) to scout a place for our high school reunion and a kid's bday party. The good: - Good food - Great amenities: bar, private party room, billiard tables, bowling lanes, arcade section, ropes course above the arcade - Clean restaurant, arcade area, bowling alley (Bathroom and hallway by the bathroom stunk like urine, though.) - Easy to buy an arcade card: Just use one of the kiosk. The machine shows that you can buy a card starting at $35 but you can purchase one at a lower price if you type in a specify amount you want in the card. We were just testing out the place so we were able to purchase a card for $20. The bad: - Hallway to the bathroom smelled like urine. Like someone peed on the carpet and the staff could not shampoo the scent out. The smell was so disgusting despite the bathrooms being clean. I hope that that urine smell was just today and they are taking steps to clean that out. The needs improvement: - Staff needs to be more welcoming. No greeting when we came in. "Hi! Welcome to the Main Event! How may we help you? Is it your first time here? Let me tell you how this works." None of that. We approached the area where there were two staff members behind a counter. I told them we were there to eat and play. They said to "just go to the bar and someone will take care of you". We went to the bar. No staff there. Waited a bit. Had to approach another staff to ask whom should we approach to get a table. (Our waiter was nice so that's a save.) - A manager-looking lady approached our table at the end of our meal. I assumed she was the manager since she had a headset on. I started talking to her asking about the price plan if we were going to have an event there. Horrible experience and will likely not be returning any time soon. Took both my niece 7 and nephew 3 for the first time. Both were super excited to enjoy the aracade, but both were starving and wanted to eat something first. We asked to he seated in a booth. After 5 to 10 minutes no one approached us. I pulled out my phone and set a timer and waited an additional 10 minutes and no one bother to ask us if we were ready. Waiters, managers and waitresses passed by and not a single individual came to our attention. We got up left the menue back with the lady that sat us and left. It's incredible, the place was empty a ratio of 5 employees per 1 customer and no one single soul bother to attend us. Wouldn't help at all, totally disrespectful when we came to celebrate my dad's birthday. The two teenage girls working behind the counter were also totally disrespectful as well. Don't tell you that theirs a school reservation of 100 kids coming in and put us on the lane and we order 200 dollars worth of food and by the time our food comes kicks us out and won't let us bowl when theirs all these lanes open and could of asked other lanes to move. My feelings on this business is that because they are so busy and people are spending money on the entertainment portion that means the service they provide is not much of a care to them if it's not satisfactory. Food was horrible they served me a very burnt burger that was basically a black hockey puck. Went here on a Saturday very busy, we were put on a waitlist so decided to sit at the dinning area party of 10 and ordered food, by the time we got our food our lane was available. So we asked if we can sit in our lane or? Waiting Staff was nice and sat us in 2 lanes we had just started eating and one of your rude employees Gabe started yelling that we couldn't do that just plain obnoxious and rude please teach your employees to have some respect! My rating would be a 1 star if my kids didn't have SO much fun... Booked my kids 10yr birthday party a couple weeks ago. The online party details were lacking so I called to get some more details. I explain that all my kid wants to do is laser tag and play games to win prizes. They proceed to tell me about a 3 hr game package with laser tag. I Emphatically agree to the party and pay my deposit. Don't get the contract for several days, and fine print shows they won't be able to earn points for prizes. I wait for the party confirmation as I couldn't reach someone whenever I called. They call me finally, and tell me there's nothing I can do to change the party package as it was only 2 days away and that I already signed the contract (which I never did). They said IT IS BECAUSE THEY HAVE SPECIALLY TRAINED STAFF FOR SPECIFIC PARTIES... After going back and forth and finally talking to the manager, they were able to change our 3 hr game package to a $20 game card which is about 30 min of games. I end up just adding extra money to the kids cards. At this point, I'm just trying to salvage the party. The day comes and the host is terrible!!! I think my 10 yr old kid did a better job hosting than her. She just stood there, we had to tell her to go get drinks, pizza, we started the cake ourselves since she was just standing there doing nothing. She ran away to get a box for the pizza while the kids started running around because they were waiting for the gaming to start. Her voice was so quiet no one could hear her instructions. Then, as the kids got up to start playing, she said they have to move all our stuff to the bowling alley and throw away the drinks since they have to clean up the table for another party. I told her this was originally a 3hr party, why wouldn't we have the table for the whole duration of the party??? "I don't know" was the answer. THERE WAS NO OTHER PARTY AFTER US!!!!! This is a decent place to take your kids to spend time out of the house, but it isn't the most interesting thing to do. They offer a few things to do, but it isn't great at any of them. They have laser tag, with average to small size play area. The arcade doesn't have a huge variety of games, they do have a lot of bowling lanes and they are all automated. There are a bunch of pool tables in the bar area too. The prices are on par with other similar entertainment places. The restaurant is surprisingly good too! Finally revisited since covid and and all the employees are standing around chatting and constantly passing the service into another employee. We constantly asked for a server on the lanes but not a single person came by. For suffering businesses during these times, they really don't care. I finally went to the front desk to ask what is going on, but all three girls in blue shirts are kneeling on the floor eating french fries and on their phones. I stood around for the only one gentleman working in this establishment to assist because the girls were apparently all busy.. When we brought this to her attention again, she said it's corrected and charged correctly and pointed to the signature line for me to sign. She said it makes no difference but it does! If I sign, then I agree to pay the above amount which is incorrect!!! Angelica is trying to scam customers and lie for a bigger tip that she does not deserve. Check your cameras because she's standing around on her phone. Even the bus boy and the gentleman at the front desk says they have had trouble with her all night and she refuses to listen. This place was fun for the kids. But don't be deceived by the size. It's rather small on the inside. Most of the room is taken up by the bar and bowling alley. There was a wait for the the ropes course and only three aisles of arcades. Safety is a concern. Rent a locker or keep your stuff on you. I put a receipt on the table and somebody started looking at our ticket and coats. The food was awful! My salad was slimy so I did not finish it and the pretzel bites were rock hard even the kids did not finish them. My friend and I always drive pass this place on I90 when driving into Chicago and decided let's check it out. We only heard its comparable to a Dave and Busters or a Gameworks. As we walked in we expected something similar but we were wrong. This place was super clean, it had many essentials a typical arcade area would have but it combined bowling, laser tag, billiards, and rope climbing into one place which is key to saving money. They also had a food area which made a decent looking pizza from what I saw and they had a pretty decent food menu. We ended up sitting at the bar for a couple drinks but overall it looked like a fun place to check out and I would come again just for the atmosphere. read more

If i could give this place a 0 stars I would. The bartender, security and managers were very racist. My friend(mexican woman) and I (asian woman) tried to order drinks and they confiscated our ID's because they thought it was fake. I tried showing them another proof ID to show that the ID is actually me and they made some random excuse saying it was a fake ID. I had to call the hoffman estates police department and it took 1.5 hours to get my ID back. Don't ever go here.
