We had a great family time. They are short staffed so we never got our drink orders but it's ok. The guy working was hustling to accommodate the whole bowling area. It's a fun place despite it all. The staff that is there is great as well. read more

Because it is unique and has entertainment at the mall--it is very busy. That's expected. Where I would say it falls short is in terms of staffing. They either don't have enough people on staff, too many new people who aren't trained, or staff that just doesn't seem to care. Management looks overwhelmed with the demand of business and it's hard to imagine they've even gotten adequate training. The vibe screams emergency promotions and necessity hires. Now I can admit that my view is biased. We had bad service and bad food. We set a VIP reservation and had to wait 1 hour after the reservation to be able to bowl. We were told we would get our own server (nice!). But that didn't happen. The 2-3 servers were so enmeshed with the birthday party in the other half of the VIP room that they basically forgot we existed. They got our drinks--delivered 45 minutes later. Got our food order--came out right before our timer ended. The experience was not enjoyed. But looking around--I think everyone felt that way. From the customers to servers, and management...just everyone having a negative experience. If you wish to go just for the arcade games or laser tag I think you'll be ok. But I'd pass on the bowling and food. read more

Okay, so Ray Ray was just incredible from start to finish. He made sure everyone felt welcome and knew where to go, especially with all your family and friends. He was super attentive, always checking in to see if anyone needed anything, and he really went above and beyond to make sure the whole event ran smoothly. Main Event itself was also fantastic. The whole setup was perfect for your going-away party, and they really made sure you and your wife had a stress-free and fun time. It sounds like they hit all the right notes for a memorable send-off! -Termon Moore read more

Not sure if anyone actually works there. Came in the middle of the day during the work week. Bartender was absent, food took absolutely forever to get, and when we showed up for our laser tag time nobody was there. read more

We had a group of 16 and got 3 lanes. Lots of fun bowling. The food was good and service was pretty good. Disappointed in the laser tag though. 6 if our group and 2 strangers played and two of our groups guns would not work. I even switched mine out for another one but still would not work. We even tested mine and the other persons with two players on the other team and standing 3 feet away could not score. Told the attendant and he just said sorry. If you want to play laser tag go to putt putt or somewhere else. Games and bowling were great though and all in all everyone had a great time. read more

Main Event Fayetteville - Main entrance. - Arcades Near Me - Fayetteville, North Carolina

Main Event is simply another Dave & Buster's. A lot of overpriced games (you get a card, put money on it and swipe away). My cousin, her children, my son and I went. It was super crowded, so her daughter wasn't able to enjoy it. Our sons had a great time playing laser tag and a couple of other games. When it came time to redeem the tickets, everything of value was simply too out of their ticket range. He basically left with candy! We wanted to get in at least one round of bowling, but the wait time was so extreme. Very disappointing. read more

We had a great time! This was my first time here and because I arrived so late after my flight we didn't have much time so we didn't get a chance to buy any food. We played several games and really enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere was very inviting and all of the games worked. We will definitely return! read more

The food was decent, and the service was excellent given that the bartender was alone. The ambiance was acceptable.

The wait for a table , we were told 25 minutes, it was about double that time even though there were plenty of empty tables. Finally took our drink orders for 5 of us, my son never got his drink. We ordered a plate of chicken sliders, small burgers etc. to share. We got no silverware, plates or even napkins. Daughter finally went over and got us some napkins from the bar. Food not that great either. Giving one star because I see no way to give a negative one star. read more

Me and my son Went to main event on 1-7-2025. When we went in at 6:30pm there was not a person to greet us or even direct us to how the place operates. After wait in the prize area for 10 minutes that was unmanned we left in search of an employee. We finally found someone and we told him that we wanted to use cash to buy a card for games. He said use THIS machine. It was dead, it didn't work. Then as he was walking away he yelled out " use that one over there!" We tried for 15 minutes but it as also non-functional. This was very frustrating. We both felt like main event did not want us there. And it looks like we were the last to find that out. We will never return to main event. And we learned all this by not spending a dime there. read more

I went to meet up with a friend of mine and her kids from out of town and had never been to The Main Event, and needlessly to say, it was a major disappointment. We ordered our food after letting the kids play for a bit; the food ran an hour behind; the service was as bad as the food; very dry. The games didn't dispense any tickets. And, yet, we let the kids continue to play and not spoil their time. I'm sad that this happened, because this was suppose to be a nice addition to Fayetteville. Maybe, Fayetteville should have gotten a Dave and Buster's. Oh, well, one can dream. read more

I have eaten here now four times and the food was been absolutely wonderful. The Smashed Burger Tacos are to die for!!! Their Pico Queso appetizer dip is off the charts good. My wife got their buffalo chicken sandwich and it was just perfect. This restaurant in this game room is a hidden gym in Fayetteville. The kids love the Cotton Candy Shirley Temple drinks, which are a beautiful put together drink. Keep up the great work!! read more

Food- The food wasn't the greatest we got a pizza for the table and then some boneless wings some wings had more sauce then others even though we got three of the same flavor , the pizza tasted weird so we didn't eat it . The drinks were good the kids loved the cotton candy drink , the service wasn't the best ethier it took over 40 minutes for our drinks and pizza and then an additional 15 for the wings . Price - the price was just plain EXPENSIVE I guess because we have 5 people but there were three kids and two adults our tickets were over 300 dollars !! And even though the place was big and had a lot of game we couldn't even bowl because the place was so packed . Would recommend if you already ate and have a smaller group read more

I visited the Main Event for the first time today with my grandson and granddaughter. They had a great time, but since it was my first visit--filling in because my grandson's mom was out of town for the weekend--I was completely lost on what to do. When I asked for help from some Team Members near the kiosks, one told me to wait, walked off, and came back later. When I asked again, another young short black staff person she just told me to read the screen. Being pretty tech-savvy, I told her I didn't need to be told that, and she walked away with an attitude. I then asked a male Team Member for help, and though he also told me to wait, he eventually assisted me in paying my $25 and even invited me to the register to check the card balances. Later, my other daughter arrived, already knowing how everything worked, and we ended up spending about $100 on credits and a couple of drinks. Overall, my grandkids had a good time, and the visit was enjoyable--except for the very unprofessional interaction with that one impatient little girl Team Member. I did mention her bad attitude to the male Team Member, but he never responded at all!!! read more

Fun for all ages! My granddaughter comes here with her friends. We Love the atmosphere and it never seems crowded.

We come here all the time i don't recommend too much for smaller kids but more of a crowd for teens and young adults they pizza and wings are good and drinks are always amazing. We usually bowl and play games when we go in and always spend at minimum 100 a visit read more

Zack was very friendly, polite and courteous. Even though he was extremely busy he took the time to assist me and my grand children with a play card that wasn't reading. This was on a Saturday evening with tons of people and he was still pleasant throughout helping me while other customers and staff were asking for his help simultaneously. Thank you Zack for you help with a smile He should be commended read more

The food was 10/10. Everything was hot and delicious. I was really pleasantly surprised. Family of seven. We ordered chicken nachos, cheese burger, boneless chicken, bone in chicken, and kids chicken strips and pizza. All came out great. The service was adequate and prompt, not friendly but present. Did what was necessary. I know it's newer and in the gaming side you can tel. The atmosphere was more unorganized and confusing. There were many ppl on the floor just standing. Our server informed us the. Are we purchased could be broken down to smaller cards but when we asked we were denied. We had to speak to GM Derrick who honored Tarryns (servers) word. Overall we enjoyed our visit. read more

We came in for a team building day and we were treated with VIP courtesy. Management was GREAT and very attentive! Dan was AWESOME to say the least! We walked in to the restaurant, no one was there to seat us and no one was in any of the booths, so we sat ourselves and waited, and waited. I actually got up and went to the bartender to order, and she told us a waitress would be out, so we waited and waited again. Finally, a waitress came out and took our drink and appetizer order and then we waited 45 minutes for our appetizers and to order our pizza. Absolutely ridiculous service as we were the only people in there for at least 30 minutes. Then we went bowling and not one time did a server come up to us, it was a terrible experience, and I definitely would not recommend main event. They did comp half of our order but we spent over $100 on games and food and it was a complete disaster. Kind of ruined my son's big birthday read more

I would give zero but since that's not possible I will give 1. We got there yesterday to be with family for Fourth of July. And starting with problem number one we were using the kiosk to reserve bowling lane. I wanted to apply my military discount and it told us to wait for crew member. About 10 minutes passed of nobody being in sight. And as soon as we just decided to not wait for discount somebody magically appeared but didn't even approach us and walked away. Once it was finally our turn to bowl we had nobody approach us the whole first game to get our order. And still walked around and couldn't find anybody. Then our screen froze and we weren't able to start a new game. I was finally able to track someone down and our order took over 30 minutes to come out and some of our stuff didn't even come out. We finally found someone to start the new game but he only gave us 20 minutes back. I've been to many main events and this by far has been worse one. Customer service 0/10. Please do better and if you wanna have a good time with family in town this is not the spot. read more

I'm so glad they had something similar to Dave and Buster here. I was getting bored out of my mind in this city. Gave one less star because their prize selection is terrible, no video games or cool tech to aim for while redeeming. If we were to spend the money on the games, at least the too prize should be something decent like an Xbox at D&B read more

The customer service at the bar was not good! Upon entering the bar, the bar table was not clean and the bartender (Joy) didn't want to clean it. I requested it to be cleaned 3 times and finally the bartender cleaned it. She never came back to take our order and after 30 minutes, another waitress (KiKi) from the floor offered to take our order. I must add she was very pleasant and friendly. Waited too long for food to come out and when it came out the dip was cold, some of the cheese was not melted. I was not happy at all about this place and will not be going back. read more

I work there and this is honestly the funniest job I've ever had. Barely any attendants, not good value for games. Had gone with the hope of doing the free bowling for kids only to find out they didn't accept it that Friday. The restaurant area looks nice tho. I would only go here if I was doing the food and play meal deal. I went on the weekend and the place was packed and loud as heck. Didn't have to wait long for food and the burgers and fries are pretty darn good. I did the $50 play card with the burger and it was $52.99. My only complaint aside from the hoodlums running around with no respect for anything is the prices of the gameplay. I don't think anything was less than 8.6 credits. read more

Went for food and games only got the games. Good news is though they have a great selection of arcade games. Bad news is they are not very well organized and the staff acted like they couldn't care less. Checked in to the restaurant it said an hour wait so we went and played games came back to check after the hour they said it will be another hour or so. We had to leave at that point the family was hungry so we went to use the points the kids had won. Complete chaos in the prize area. No lines, no directions, like I said no organization. Everyone was walking in front of each other and it took us forever to get to the register and check out the prizes for the kids. read more

My experience at Main Event Fayetteville NC Got there at 4:30 PM went on over and checked in to get a table to eat. The host said it would be about 45 minutes to an hour, great. It's a Saturday of course there will be some wait time. Got our check in time for a table at 4:37PM. I knew that we were going to play some games and see how long it would be to get a lane to do some bowling. It was going to be two hours before any lanes came open. Went on to play games and just check the place out. This is where everything started going downhill, 45 minutes in went back over to check our table status. Host said that we won't be seated until after 6PM something about staff shift change and not having enough wait staff. Shrugged my shoulders & just said Okay. Told one of the female staff that the ladies' room was a mess stall out of paper. She looked at me like I cussed her out. Said she would tell someone and she kept it moving, Okay. 5:56PM table ready text came in headed right over and sat down. Two tables were seated near us after our order was taken an 8 top and a 4 top. Got our drinks and was waiting on our food. We were seated right next to glass so we could see right into the food prep area. The four top got their drinks, then got their food Hmmm. Then the 8 top got their drinks and some wings. Stopped our waitress asked what the status on our food, she said I will go check. She came out not with our food but the food for the 8 top Hmmm. Stopped her again and asked about our order, I will check it should be up. This whole time I was looking into the food prep area and saw our food just sitting being moved every now and then by the person handing the orders out. 6:43PM our food came to the table as I watched out waitress grab the food that was ours from being moved around. Cold Tarter tots, Cold burgers, Cold wings, Cold fries!!! The only hot item was my kid's pizza. She said that it all just came up. Yeah Noooo!!! It would take another 15 to get hot food, again Nooo. Our mistake for going on a Saturday, Won't do that again. Game Area 7 out 10 Staff Friendly 2 out of 10 Food service 2 0ut 10 We will never go back on a Friday thru Sunday. So next we will try them on a weekday to see if service is better. read more
