First off, the store is massive and has just about everything a Coloradan would ever need for outdoor festivities. The mission: rent a sandboard for Great Sand Dunes National Park. Consider the mission accomplished! I spoke with three different people over my two visits (one to rent, and the other to return) and they were just so damn friendly. Knowledgeable, helpful, and encouraging for a first time sand boarder like myself. You can rent sand boards or sleds for $20 a day. Totally worth it, especially if you're staying in Alamosa. Other places offer rentals (many not near the park and many not open during winter). Kristi Mountains Sports earned their 5-star rating just by being good people. Thanks again for your help!!!

We had a somewhat limited time frame to get the work done, and though it was short of notice, and they are located two towns and more than 30 miles over, Brown's Septic accommodated us more quickly, and gave a better quote than the other available options. Under the current difficult times, and with a lack of effort being made by so many to fight for our Country's freedoms and economy, I was very happy to see that Mr. Brown is standing up for the right of his business and many others to keep going and provide for their families. I didn't know one septic service from another; however, my plumber friend mentioned Brown's service. I not only love supporting a Mom and Pop family run business, but I was so happy to discover what wonderful people they are! I had the pleasure of meeting Keith Brown (owner) at my house the day of service. What a gracious, respectful man; moreover, it's reassuring to meet someone so devoted to their family. You immediately realize that he is a man who walks in gratitude and love for people. I knew even before he left that I couldn't imagine using any other service for this. I can't imagine why anyone would write a bad review about these people, as I've seen some on some of the review sites??
