We've had Tom and Matt from Mailman's come in a couple of times a year for more than a decade to clean our beige carpet in the kitchen. It's the main entry into the house and gets a lot of traffic. They have always been excellent and very concerned about getting it right. Once we had a particularly difficult grease stain that didn't come out fully the first time - so they swung back and gave it a second blast so that it was 100% gone. They're good people...and very qualified. read more

The van broke down and they had to reschedule. The day of the 2nd appointment, they called 15 minutes after they were due to be here, they called to reschedule AGAIN because of the van still being in the shop. I inquired why we weren't notified earlier, so we could have avoided hours of moving furniture off the carpet and they said they were sorry, they should have. read more

We put up with it once but not twice: * Carpet was left filthy. Dog hair and grime left on the carpet. Lots of it. * We pay the minimum "3 room" rate ($125). Normally they make up for this by also cleaning our couch and easy chair - usually takes the guy 5 extra minutes. * Cleaning guy refused to do the couch, even though he was in and ready to leave after cleaning the one room in 15 minutes. He said, "I have other places to clean and I'm running behind" * When we showed him the dirt we were able to scoop off the carpet, he said "if you're not happy, just take it up with my manager about making it right" and took off. * We called the manager, mentioned the still-dirty carpet and the couch not getting done. He said, if you want the carpet cleaned again it's $125. * We said, we just had it cleaned today, and it's not clean. Will you make it right? He answered, if you're not happy with us, call another cleaner, and hung up. I guess, sadly, avoid these guys, they have lost their integrity.

I have used Mailman's Carpet Cleaning twice now in my home and both times I couldn't be happier with the result. We had a major accident on one carpet that I was very concerned about the stain not coming out. Within hours of contacting Mailman's, they were at my door to assist. The short notice did not cause a problem, and they were able to clean the stain out the first time, but let me know if there was any spotting when the carpets dried to contact them and they would come back immediately to get it out. The second time I contacted them, it was just for some cleaning due to everyday use of the carpets. Having two children, juice and dirt tend to build up. Mailman's showed up on time, was very professional and polite and cleaned the carpets in no time. Our son's room is a converted attic and tends to get very warm. Matthew had no problem going up, moving things around that I missed, and getting the job done. I am impressed with the jobs Mailman's Carpet Cleaning has done, the kindness of their staff and I would highly recommend them to anyone I know looking for carpet cleaning services. ~Jen Cormier Templeton, MA .. read more

I'm not sure how great they are at cleaning carpets, however I'm horrified at how rude and blatantly disrespectful their staff is regarding the safety of other drivers. My family was just nearly run off the road by one of their vans on 190 this morning. The driver was driving so erratically one would wonder if he was blind, or intoxicated. My husband decided it was safest to pass that van, before he hit us. As we went around him in the passing lane, I saw why he was all over the road. The driver had his cell phone up on the steering wheel and he was texting! TEXTING! He could have killed someone, and he was completely oblivious. I would not hire them if they were the last company available after seeing that. It was scary! read more
