The only reason I gave it one less star is for sometimes shirts aren't always true to size, and run larger. My friend and I were surprised to hear that their fitting rooms were open. At first I was recultant with having a mask on to try anything on, did notice fitting room attendant was cleaning after someone left the fitting room, and there were temporarily closed signs posted. Pleased with my new tank top purchase that was on sale. Hand santizer stations were located within the store, all associates had masks on, 6 ft marker indicators, and glass shield dividers by each register.

Was walking by and the purple stuck out to me and so I decided to enter. The Purple Doorknob name is deceiving. As it turned out to do nothing with repairs or doors but was all about socks. There are hundreds of socks dedicated to every single situation you could think of! Funny socks. Work socks. LGBTQIA+ socks. Socks for friends. Socks to express your moods. Compression socks. Socks socks and more socks! The service is okay. There was one lady at the counter who barely looked up and was mostly doing homework. Because it's perfect for a gift, the price for a single sock runs a bit high. But it is also an eco friendly store and so a lot of the socks are made sustainably. Parking is all street parking. Metered most days. Bought one sock and they are really good quality. Happy with my selection and the store.

They have really thoughtful organizing (especially compared to other thrift/vintage/second-hand stores) with everything clearly organized by size and type of item, then typically by color within that, so it's really easy to find items that will fit you. A great selection of accessories like shoes, bags, and jewelry too! The selling process always goes very smoothly too. The website and their social media have lots of clear info on how the process works and what kinds of items they're looking for, and really makes what could be a complicated process super simple.

This trendy label appeals to the younger, fashion-conscious, crowd. And then scattered throughout the store, especially in the back, there are styles that look a bit dated and ordinary. There are some high-price designer items as well. I think their jewelry section is rather blah. I've never bought jewelry from them. All sorts of used handbags and practically new shoes. Both my teenage daughter and I have bought clothes from here. Something for everyone. What I like about consigning my gently used clothes with this business is that they itemize the clothing that you give them. When the consignment period is over in 3 months, you know exactly which item sold and how much money you will get for it. Unlike another consignment store in the area that just gives you a number for your items and never tells you exactly what sold. Becomes a mystery. And then you have to hunt all over the place to find your items that didn't sell if you want them back. But here, I ask for items that don't sell back and they keep them for me to pick up within a window of time. They take appointments on their website for consigning your things the first few days of the month only. It's very organized and I appreciate that. They may not take many of the items you hope to consign. But at least they're honest and organized.

I don't love the clothes the way I used to, probably because I am 36 years old and this store is geared toward the younger crowd. And the bras just aren't working for my size (they carry my size, but I find it lacks the support I need). But it's fun to look at everything. What I do love is there body sprays/lotions. They smell so good!! I bought 5 different scents today, despite having a complete overflow at home! Customer service was great today as well. My cashiers name is not on the receipt but she was great helping on the floor as well as at the register and helping me navigate my way through coupons and rewards. Another woman, possibly the manager, came up to me with a product I may like at the register when she saw I was buying scents she likes as well. It was a really nice and and personable experience. She didn't force me to buy it or anything either, she just said you gotta smell this you'll love it, and left me to smell and decide for myself, no pressure. I really liked that. Items they carry here are lounge wear, active wear, bathing suits, pajamas, slides, bras, underwear, and body wash/spray/lotion. I think there are some socks by the register as well. Oh and there are some hats.

You are repeatedly asked (in a tone you would not think audible to humans) if they can help you find anything. That interaction is just a segue to tell you about current offers and their name, and without stopping for a breath. You will be asked who helped you at checkout. It's nice to be greeted, yes, but this is far above and beyond a simple hello, let me know if you need help. These beauties were strategically placed everywhere BUT at the register, to the point of having a queue (a cattle corral really, disguised with pink bows) decorated with yet another beauty hawking yet another deal. NO. I don't want the whatever-it-is, I just want to check out, can't you please go back there and attend the register so we can all move on?! It's not the employees' fault. They are doing their job. It's just a sorry way to do business IMHO. I have yet to find someone who either likes it when a driver tailgates them or enjoys these high-pressure salespeople. I must add we had good service from a non-bothersome helper we approached who steered us to the department called, ahem, Wicked. She was no-nonsense, stocking the underthings, yet took the time to actually assist us in a cheery manner. The other lovelies could take a pointer from her.
